Veteran actress and producer, Chinyere Wilfred opens up about her marriage of 22 years in the interview below:
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I hail from Aguluezechukwu, Anambra State, while my husband is from Idiato, Imo State. I am happily married to my handsome husband and we are blessed with three lovely boys. Two among my children are in the university and my last child is still in secondary school.
How old is your first child?
My first child, Chukwudi, is 21 years old and Emeka is my second child. He’s 19 years old and my third son is 17 years old.
How long have you been married?
We have been married for over 21 years now. Though there is no marriage without challenges, but our love for each other has kept us going with the grace of God. My husband is a blessing to the family. I love him for his truthfulness and straight-forward lifestyle. He has never lied to me and that’s among reasons our marriage is sizzling hot.
Where exactly did you grow up?
We grew up in Ajegunle, popularly known as AJ (laughter). I am very proud to be associated as a brand from my root.
Were you married before you started acting?
Though I met my husband before my foray into the movie industry, we got married after shooting Taboo in 1992 and that movie gave me so much recognition as an actress.
Some celebrity marriages have crashed. How have you been sustaining your marriage?
Honestly, the glory goes to God, because we can’t do it alone, but His grace and mercies have seen us through in our marital life. Christ is the rock behind the success of my marriage.
Besides, it’s not just celebrity marriages that couldn’t stand the test of time, so many marriages have crashed. It’s because some people go into marriage for different reasons and they end up marrying the wrong spouse and divorce since there is lack of understanding and love. My husband is God-sent and has been very supportive of my career. He cares a lot about me.
What’s your advice for a young spinster searching for Mr. Right?
Every young girl seems to be in a hurry to get married. I dated my husband for over seven years before we got married in 1992. You shouldn’t rush into marriage, because it’s a lifetime commitment. When you meet Mr. Right, you will know, you don’t need a soothsayer to convince you about compatibility. Sincerely, courtship is essential to have a sustainable marriage. It gives you the opportunity to study your spouse, but these days, our youth say love is blind or it’s love at first sight and before you say Jack Robinson, they are divorced.

Yul Edochie
Yul Edochie (born Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie 7 January 1982) is a Nigerian actor, named after popular Russian actor Yul Brynner. He is the son of Nigerian actor Pete Edochie. He was raised both in Lagos and Enugu. He is the last of 6 children. He got Married at the age of 22. He Attended University of Port Harcourt, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts.
Early life
Yul attended Lillians' Day Nursery School and Robinson Street Primary School, Enugu between 1984 and 1992. His secondary education started from 1992 to 1998. In those 6 years he went to Marist Brothers' Juniorate, Uturu , University Secondary School Enugu, Ecumenical Community Secondary School Enugu and New Haven Boys Secondary School Enugu Respectively.
Personal life
He is married to May Aligwe and has 2 sons and a daughter.
Career
He Joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first film titled "The Exquires" alongside the Late Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. He got his break in 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot in the movie "Wind Of Glory".

Greatest hits album
A greatest hits album, sometimes called a "best of" album or a catalog album, is a compilation of songs by a particular artist or band. Most often the track list contains previously released recordings with a high degree of notability. However, to increase the appeal, especially to people who already own the original release, it is common to include remixes and/or alternate takes of popular songs; even new material (previously unreleased). Nigerians
Nigerians or Nigerian people are citizens and/or people with ancestry from Nigeria. There have been several major historical states in Nigeria that have influenced Nigerian society via their strong kings and their advanced legal and taxation systems, and the use of religion to legitimize the power of the king and to unite the people. Northern Nigeria has been culturally influenced by Islamic influence including several major historic Islamic states in the region. The Kanem-Bornu Empire and the Sokoto Caliphate were major historical Islamic states in northern Nigeria. Southern Nigeria historically held several powerful states, including the Benin Empire and Oyo Empire, Ife Empire and several other Yoruba states.

Nollywood
Nollywood is a sobriquet that originally referred to the Nigerian film industry. The origin of the term dates back to early 2000s, traced to an article in The New York Times.
Etymology
The origin of the term "Nollywood" remains unclear; Jonathan Haynes traced the earliest usage of the word to a 2002 article by Matt Steinglass in The New York Times, where it was used to describe Nigerian cinema. The term continue to be used in the media to refer to the Nigerian film industry, with its definition later believed to be a portmanteau of the words "Nigeria" and "Hollywood", the American major film hub.
Definition of which films are considered Nollywood has always been a subject of debate. Alex Eyengho defined Nollywood as "the totality of activities taking place in the Nigerian film industry, be it in English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Itsekiri, Edo, Efik, Ijaw, Urhobo or any other of the over 300 Nigerian languages". He further stated that "the historical trajectory of Nollywood started since the pre and post independent Nigeria, with the theatrical (stage) and cinematic (celluloid)) efforts of the likes of Chief Hubert Ogunde, Chief Amata, Baba Sala, Ade Love, Eddie Ugboma and a few others".

Veteran actress and producer, Chinyere Wilfred opens up about her marriage of 22 years in the interview below: Tell us a bit about yourself? I hail from Aguluezechukwu, Anambra State, while my husband is from Idiato, Imo State. I am happily married to my handsome husband and we are blessed with three lovely boys. Two among my children are in the university and my last child is still in secondary school. How old is your first child? My first child, Chukwudi, is 21 years old and Emeka is my second child. He’s 19 years old and my third son is 17 years old. How long have you been married? We have been married for over 21 years now. Though there is no marriage without challenges, but our love for each other has kept us going with the grace of God. My husband is a blessing to the family. I love him for his truthfulness and straight-forward lifestyle. He has never lied to me and that’s among reasons our marriage is sizzling hot. Where exactly did you grow up? We grew up in Ajegunle, popularly known as AJ (laughter). I am very proud to be associated as a brand from my root. Were you married before you started acting? Though I met my husband before my foray into the movie industry, we got married after shooting Taboo in 1992 and that movie gave me so much recognition as an actress. Some celebrity marriages have crashed. How have you been sustaining your marriage? Honestly, the glory goes to God, because we can’t do it alone, but His grace and mercies have seen us through in our marital life. Christ is the rock behind the success of my marriage. Besides, it’s not just celebrity marriages that couldn’t stand the test of time, so many marriages have crashed. It’s because some people go into marriage for different reasons and they end up marrying the wrong spouse and divorce since there is lack of understanding and love. My husband is God-sent and has been very supportive of my career. He cares a lot about me. What’s your advice for a young spinster searching for Mr. Right? Every young girl seems to be in a hurry to get married. I dated my husband for over seven years before we got married in 1992. You shouldn’t rush into marriage, because it’s a lifetime commitment. When you meet Mr. Right, you will know, you don’t need a soothsayer to convince you about compatibility. Sincerely, courtship is essential to have a sustainable marriage. It gives you the opportunity to study your spouse, but these days, our youth say love is blind or it’s love at first sight and before you say Jack Robinson, they are divorced. -

Veteran actress and producer, Chinyere Wilfred opens up about her marriage of 22 years in the interview below:
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I hail from Aguluezechukwu, Anambra State, while my husband is from Idiato, Imo State. I am happily married to my handsome husband and we are blessed with three lovely boys. Two among my children are in the university and my last child is still in secondary school.
How old is your first child?
My first child, Chukwudi, is 21 years old and Emeka is my second child. He’s 19 years old and my third son is 17 years old.
How long have you been married?
We have been married for over 21 years now. Though there is no marriage without challenges, but our love for each other has kept us going with the grace of God. My husband is a blessing to the family. I love him for his truthfulness and straight-forward lifestyle. He has never lied to me and that’s among reasons our marriage is sizzling hot.
Where exactly did you grow up?
We grew up in Ajegunle, popularly known as AJ (laughter). I am very proud to be associated as a brand from my root.
Were you married before you started acting?
Though I met my husband before my foray into the movie industry, we got married after shooting Taboo in 1992 and that movie gave me so much recognition as an actress.
Some celebrity marriages have crashed. How have you been sustaining your marriage?
Honestly, the glory goes to God, because we can’t do it alone, but His grace and mercies have seen us through in our marital life. Christ is the rock behind the success of my marriage.
Besides, it’s not just celebrity marriages that couldn’t stand the test of time, so many marriages have crashed. It’s because some people go into marriage for different reasons and they end up marrying the wrong spouse and divorce since there is lack of understanding and love. My husband is God-sent and has been very supportive of my career. He cares a lot about me.
What’s your advice for a young spinster searching for Mr. Right?
Every young girl seems to be in a hurry to get married. I dated my husband for over seven years before we got married in 1992. You shouldn’t rush into marriage, because it’s a lifetime commitment. When you meet Mr. Right, you will know, you don’t need a soothsayer to convince you about compatibility. Sincerely, courtship is essential to have a sustainable marriage. It gives you the opportunity to study your spouse, but these days, our youth say love is blind or it’s love at first sight and before you say Jack Robinson, they are divorced.
