Acerca de los Grupos de Ayuda Mutua promovidos por la Generalitat de Catalunya (Spain)

Durante el año 2015 la Generalitat de Catalunya, a través de su consejería de salud, impulsó un proyecto con el nombre de ‘Activa’t’. Este proyecto como informa la nota de prensa del gobierno catalán trata de convertir a los familiares de personas con trastornos mentales en ‘agentes activos’ en el proceso de atención y recuperación de la ‘enfermedad’. Se trataría de ‘poner a disposición un circuito estructurado que permita el acceso a la información, formación y fomento del empoderamiento, así como el apoyo continuado con acciones coordinadas entre los recursos ya existentes de las diferentes redes que intervienen en la atención a la personas’. Un objetivo muy loable, pero sobre el que queremos reflexionar algunos aspectos que consideramos problemáticos.
En primer lugar, se trata de un proyecto que lanzan las instituciones políticas en un momento en el que los recortes sanitarios se han afianzado en nuestro sistema de salud. Desde 2008 hasta el 2015 se ha invertido mucho menos en materia de salud y eso se ha hecho notar en los recursos disponibles, tanto en lo que se refiere a camas hospitalarias o unidades de atención, como de ratio de profesionales por habitantes. Athens: Action outside the embassy of Spain in solidarity with Mónica and Francisco (Greece)

On Tuesday evening, March 8th 2016, we went with banners, flyers and sprays outside the Spanish Embassy in Athens (on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, in the Makrygianni district) in a minimum display of solidarity with captive comrades Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar, who stand trial in Madrid.
The banners read: “All laws are terrorism – Freedom for Mónica and Francisco”; and: “A life of combat – Prisoners to the streets – Freedom for our bodies – Madrid, 8-9-10/3/16”. Walls of the embassy building were tagged with: MONICA Y FRANCISCO LIBRES (“Mónica and Francisco free”). Among the slogans shouted (mostly in Spanish) were the words “Mateo Morral: Presente” – as well as “Javier Recabarren: Presente” in view of the week of actions in Chile in memory of the 11-year-old comrade. Letter from Conspiracy of Cells of Fire – Urban Guerilla Cell : ‘For Monica and Francisco’ (Greece, Spain)

Regarding the international call of solidarity for Monica and Francisco we are sending these few words, written with our hearts in complicity…
From 8th to 10th of March the trial of the comrades Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar takes place in Madrid’s High Court. They are accused of an explosive attack at the Basilica del Pillar in Zaragoza. The claim of responsibility was signed by “Insurrectional Commando Mateo Morral”, which according to the indictment belongs to the Coordinated Anarchist Groups that constitute the Spanish division of Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI/IRF).
The arrests of Monica and Francisco at the 13th of November 2013 were just the beginning of a series of anti-anarchist expeditions of the Spanish State (Operation Pandora, Operation Pinata). Their target was the friends and comrades of these 2 imprisoned anarchists, as well as anarchist collectives and squats. More than 40 people were arrested.
On the 28th of October 2015 the Spanish authorities decided to extend the remand of Fransisco and Monica for 2 more years in the midst of constant transfers under the custodial regime FIES 3 (special custodial conditions). The district attorney has already suggested 44 years of imprisonment to each, while in her venomous peroration, she used the international terrorism hysteria, after the Paris attack from ISIS, and she even compared the anarchist cells of action to jihadists!!!
Monica and Fransisco were already in the “black list” of the authorities, from their former imprisonment in the Chilean prisons because of the “Bombs Case”…
We are not lawyers to talk about the evidence of this case… but we know that a bomb in a church is a liberating action… Every temple is a monument of the defeat of Man.
Thousands of robe-wearing scarecrows are making loads of money by putting to sleep willing crowds of believers. They are selling a spot at their fake heaven, while they themselves go around in ironclad limos, private jets and luxurious yachts.
They are offering crumbs of philanthropy; at the same time their personal bank accounts are overflowing with money in banks where they are themselves shareholders…
They are merchandizing “Hope” in order to be able to manipulate the fear of the economic crisis, of the existential dead ends and of the dissimilitude.
They are preaching resignation and blind submission, in order to hide the fumes of the child pornography scandals and the plague that prevails in their social circles.
For this reason, we choose to be profane against the pious people…
Every time a church is blown up, freedom obtains some meters of earth above the
debris of the explosion.
Monica and Francisco won’t be alone in the court. Every revolting heart will pulsate at the rhythm of their hearts.
Our bet is to synchronize our hearts with our actions to take back our freedom… for Monica… for Francisco… for everyone…

In active solidarity with our comrades Francisco Solar and Monica Caballero, anarchist prisoners in Spanish state jails.
From the high security prison of Santiago, Chile, we make an international call for active solidarity with Francisco and Monica, who soon will face the legal farce of the Spanish State. They are accused of being part of Insurreccional Commando Mateo Morral who have claimed responsibility for two explosive attacks on historic symbols [1, 2] of the Spanish Catholic church in the course of the year 2013.
On the next 8, 9 and 10 March, the trial in the National Court in Madrid is determined to perform an exemplary punishment on the lives of our comrades.
With rants and cockiness the judiciary orders more than 40 years in prison for various charges as the servile Chilean State celebrates and rejoices the omen of a long sentence hanging over these dear fellow anti-authoritarians. (more…)

of February 29 to March 6, to inform and make visible their situation!
THEY CAN’T STOP US
On 8, 9 and 10 March 2016 the trial against the anarchists Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar will be held at the National Court in Madrid. The two comrades are more than two years in pre-trial detention.
The charges against them are three of [property] damage, conspiracy and membership of a criminal organization with terrorist aims, which is why the prosecution calls for a sentence of 44 years in prison for each.
Their arrests were the first in a series of anti-terrorist operations in Catalonia, Madrid and Palencia, operating under the name of Operation Pandora and Piñata totaling more than 40 people charged to be part of this alleged “terrorist” organization. (more…)

Below we leave some words from anarchist compañera Mónica Caballero in relation to the logic and functioning of the respect unit (m-R) in multiple prisons in the Spanish State. With the aim of directly controlling the population imprisoned there and, with the preventive excuse of “resolving” frictions between individuals in–forced–cohabitation, these units are fundamentally destined to avoid serious problems between the prisoners and the institution, trapping any rebellious impulse or attitude that questions the imposed consensus. And working on the basis of submission to rules and protocols that maintain order, they seek the participation and collaboration of the inmates. Undoubtedly, we find similarities with the logic of the “outside,” since the project of prison is a vital part of the system in its totality through which it reproduces the same forms of the existent Domination.
We also remember that Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar will face trial on March 8th, 9th and 10th, 2016, in the Madrid branch of the National Court. As in all of these processes of many years in preventative prison, carried out with dignity and entirety and with convictions intact, the compañeras in this case have been alone. All of our hatred to the police and judges and the system they defend and all our revolutionary love in struggle for our compañeras and many of those persecuted and imprisoned by States. Anarchist comrade Gabriel Pombo da Silva wins his demands and stops hunger strike (Spain)

Yesterday, 19 January, imprisoned anarchist Gabriel Pombo da Silva came off his hunger strike which he started on the 17 January with the demand to get a single cell. The comrade won his demand and stopped the hunger strike. Companion Juankar Santana Martín, who started a hunger strike in solidarity also stopped his hunger strike. The move by the prison lackies of Dueñas to mess around with Gabriel is a typical act to provoke him during his regular prison transfers.
The victory for his demand shows that each attempt by the authorities to harass our imprisoned comrades should be met with resistance and agitation. Solidarity to those who fight.
