This is an overview of the regular, recurring, and other characters of the TV series NCIS.
Supervisory Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (portrayed by Mark Harmon) was born in Stillwater, Pennsylvania to Jackson Gibbs and Ann Gibbs. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1976, and became a Scout Sniper. After serving tours of duty in Panama and Iraq, he retired from the Marine Corps with the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. He joined NIS, which later became NCIS, after his wife Shannon and only daughter Kelly were murdered in 1991. He later traveled to Mexico and murdered the drug dealer responsible, a crime he kept concealed for twenty years. Since then, he has been married and divorced three times, and is currently single, although he has had a number of romantic relationships since his last divorce.
Gibbs leads a Major Case Response Team (MCRT) consisting of field agents DiNozzo, McGee, and Bishop; supported by forensic scientist Sciuto and medical examiner Dr. Mallard and his assistant. In the episode "Bête Noire" Gibbs comes face to face with terrorist Ari Haswari and tries to kill him but fails. Finding Ari later becomes an obsession for Gibbs when Ari shoots and kills original team member Kate Todd in front of Gibbs and DiNozzo in the season two finale, "Twilight". He often shows frustration with his team (particularly DiNozzo for rambling or McGee for getting sucked into technical rambling) by slapping them over the back of the head, an action that is later shared between team members with this known as a "headslap" or "Gibbs-slap".
Domino is a general name for a range of kit car bodies originally produced by Fibretech GRP and distributed by Domino Cars (GB) Ltd. The assets of Fibretech were eventually transferred to Domino Composites which changed its name to Composite Designs and which finally went into liquidation at the end of 2007. Production is being continued by the DominoCars-Organisation which is a separate entity from any of the predecessors. The models are being re-engineered to incorporate modern safety features. They were intended originally for use with components from the classic Mini, but adapted in some cases for use as electric vehicles, and even in at least one case powered by steam. DominoCars-Organisation is currently developing a hybrid Diesel-electric powered unit to power the classic Mini-shaped vehicle as a town car.
The Domino range included until the 2007 liquidation the Pimlico, the Premier, the HT Saloon and Pick-up models, each designed to echo the design of the classic Mini, but with modifications necessary both because of their fiberglass construction, and due to licensing issues. The range to be continued (2008+) will include the Pimlico and the Saloon. Plans are being drawn for a hybrid-powered town car utilising the Domino shells.
"Domino" is a song written by the band Genesis for their 1986 album Invisible Touch. The song was the sixth track on the album. The music was written by the band, while the lyrics were written by keyboardist Tony Banks. The song is divided into two parts, "In the Glow of the Night" and "The Last Domino".
The song, though not released as a single, charted at number 29 on the Mainstream Rock Charts.
The B-side of the "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" single was the first half of this song, "In the Glow of the Night", while the B-side of "Invisible Touch" was the second part of the song, "The Last Domino".
During a clip titled "Tony talks about his inspiration" on the When in Rome 2007 DVD, Banks states that his inspiration for the song lyrics was the 1982 Lebanon War which was still being contested prior to the recording of Invisible Touch. He set the action on a hotel room in Beirut, minutes after bombs start to fall on the city.
Before the song was performed, Phil Collins would talk to the audience about the Domino Principle and demonstrate it by stating that something that might happen to the people in one section, might affect the people in another section (with the lights lighting up that section of the audience) multiple times.
Damian Siguenza, known by his stage name, Domino (born November 9, 1970), is an American record producer, manager, DJ, and one of the members of the Oakland, California-based underground hip hop collective, Hieroglyphics.
Born in San Francisco, California, Siguenza claimed in a 2006 interview that the nickname "Domino" came from his friends in high school:
Domino began his music career as a rapper, but by 1989-90 had switched almost exclusively to beat making, following the purchase of a Casio FZ 10M sampler. By the time he joined the Hieroglyphics in the mid-1990s, Domino concentrated solely on beat making and production.
In 1991, Domino was living in the back room of 'The Groove Merchant' Record Store in the Bay Area honing his ear and craft with old and rare funk and soul records. He met Hieroglyphics' founder Del the Funky Homosapien through a frequent customer, Elektra Records A&R/producer Dante Ross. Del then introduced Domino to the other members of the Hieroglyphics, who admired Domino's beat making skills as much as Domino admired the Hieroglyphic's rapping skills, and Domino eventually became an integral part of the collective. Ultimately, as the various groups were signed to Elektra and Jive Records. Domino, being the oldest, became the spokesman and manager for most of the groups.
You!
Ja!
You! Du und ich, du und ich und du. You! Viel mehr gehört wohl nicht dazu.
You! Du und ich, ich und du und ich. You! Viel mehr braucht es vermutlich nicht.
You! Du und ich, du und ich und du. You! Viel mehr gehört wohl nicht dazu.
You!
geplatzt.
Du denkst: Was kann das sein? Ich will nur ganz laut "Danke!" schreien.
Ja!
You! Du und ich, du und ich und du. You! Viel mehr gehört wohl nicht dazu.
You! Du und ich, ich und du und ich. You! Viel mehr braucht es vermutlich nicht.
You! Du und ich, du und ich und du. You! Viel mehr gehört wohl nicht dazu.
You!
You!
Ja!
You! Du und ich, du und ich und du. You! Viel mehr gehört wohl nicht dazu.
You! Du und ich, ich und du und ich. You! Viel mehr braucht es vermutlich nicht.
You! Du und ich, du und ich und du. You! Viel mehr gehört wohl nicht dazu.
You!
