Little known by most people is the fact that almost every, if not every, major branch of modern science has been founded by a scientist who believed in Christ:
Christianity and The Birth of Science - Michael Bumbulis, Ph.D
Excerpt: Furthermore, many of these founders of science lived at a time when others publicly expressed views quite contrary to Christianity - Hume, Hobbes, Darwin, etc. When Boyle argues against Hobbe's materialism or Kelvin argues against Darwin's assumptions, you don't have a case of "closet atheists."

This following site is a easy to use, and understand, interactive website that takes the user through what is termed 'Presuppositional apologetics'. The website clearly shows that our use of the laws of logic, mathematics, science and morality cannot be accounted for unless we believe in a God who guarantees our perceptions and reasoning are trustworthy in the first place.

Materialism simply dissolves into absurdity when pushed to extremes and certainly offers no guarantee to us for believing our perceptions and reasoning within science are trustworthy in the first place:

How Teleportation Will Work -
Excerpt: In 1993, the idea of teleportation moved out of the realm of science fiction and into the world of theoretical possibility. It was then that physicist Charles Bennett and a team of researchers at IBM confirmed that quantum teleportation was possible, but only if the original object being teleported was destroyed. --- As predicted, the original photon no longer existed once the replica was made.

Of note: conclusive evidence for the violation of the First Law of Thermodynamics is firmly found in the preceding experiment when coupled with the complete displacement of the infinite transcendent information of "Photon c":

According to esteemed British mathematical physicist Roger Penrose (1931-present), the precision of the initial entropy of the universe, required such precision that the "Creator’s aim must have been to an accuracy of 1 part in 10^10^123”. This number is gargantuan. If this number were written out in its entirety, 1 with 10^123 zeros to the right, it could not be written on a piece of paper the size of the entire visible universe, even if a number were written down on each sub-atomic particle in the entire universe, since the universe only has 10^80 sub-atomic particles in it.

Bioacoustics and Seismic Airgun Surveys
The hydrocarbon industry explores the ocean floor for deposits using machinery emitting and analysing sound at high volumes like rapid-fire cannon going off every 10-12 seconds. We still don't know the full physical and behavioral consequences of this activity in terms of the animals in the area, nor do we know how changes in the primary groups will impact secondary or tertiary populations.

Pasifika Cool | Dunedin School of Art
Pasifika Cool is an exhibition of mostly early artworks by invited Pacific Island graduates of the Dunedin School of Art at Otago Polytechnic – Te Kura Matatini ki Otago, shown in conjunction with customary Pacific Island works of art sourced from local communities.
The exhibition will open on Friday 12 October, 5:30-7pm at the Dunedin School of Art Gallery and show from Monday 15 until Friday 26, October, 2012. We are very pleased to announce that 'Koile will be performing at the opening of Pasifika Cool. ‘Koile are a Pacific-centred reggae crew dedicated to uplifting rhythms and sunshine grooves that celebrate a potent cross-cultural mix of migration to Aotearoa. They will are direct from the Festival of Pacific Arts held in Honiara, Solomon Islands, where the band recently played as part of the Aotearoa – New Zealand delegation, sponsored by Creative New Zealand.
Showing in Pasifika Cool are artists; Catherine Cocker, Teina Ellia, Donald Harman, Bridget Inder, Tere Moeroa, Bronwyn Robson, David Te Ata and Michel Tuffery MNZM.
Pasifika Cool recognises the rich complexities and empowering strength of heritage and tradition as well as the importance of family and community to the processes of art making and learning. In viewing the artworks selected for this exhibition it can be seen that during the experience of tertiary education each artist’s cultural identity manifest itself in their art work, in some way.
Sometimes this became a central premise of their practice, as in the work of Inder and Te Ata; other times it was a more subtle element, as in the work of Ellia and Harman. The show presents these artists’ work supported by and in conversation with, customary works of art and the voices of contemporary Pasifika artists as presented in the film Paranesia, acknowledging the cultural, social, familial and historical narratives which move back and forward in time, and are integral to their practices.
The exhibition’s signature image is the work Faces (2007), by Tere Moeroa who is of Cook Island descent. Tere Moeroa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Dunedin School of Art at Otago Polytechnic in 2007, majoring in Printmaking. Since graduating he has expanded his graphic sensibility and skill with line, to incorporate contemporary tattoo and now practices as a tattooist as well as being a printmaker, musician and graffiti artist. Influenced by traditional Polynesian art, Tatau, music and graffiti, Moeroa articulates a distinctive Pasifika attitude in his work. This early wood cut, from the series Faces, confidently presents a self-portrait of the artist, integrating his cultural roots with contemporary motifs of the stereo and ear phones. Moeroa participated in the 2010 Tautai Trust Secondary School Workshops, in the role of assistant tutor and mentor in the Print Studio. More recently he designed in collaboration with Heramahina Eketone, and Nexus Dimensions design crew, the new 2012 Otago Polyfest Banners, sponsored by Otago Polytechnic and gifted to the Pacific Communities of Dunedin to coincide with this year’s Polyfest event.
The closing of the exhibition Pasifika Cool will be held on Tuesday the 23rd of October and coincides with the Otago Polytechnic 2012 Pacific Island Students Scholarship and Recognition Awards Ceremony. This is an evening to celebrate and recognise the success of both High School Pasifika students and Otago Polytechnic Pasifika students.

Time Travel 101: Writing with Primary Sources
What are primary sources? How are they different from secondary or tertiary sources? How are they used in writing history? In writing fiction? This learning module, suitable for middle and high-school audiences, runs approximately 24 minutes. It explores online primary source archives and how they were used in researching Rysa Walker's young adult novel, Timebound, which was recently selected by readers as the Grand Prize Winner in the 2013 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award competition.
For educators, an assignment that uses the Library of Congress interview collection and aligns with Common Core requirements for middle and high school American History can be found at http://www.CHRONOSFiles.com.
The Skyscape Publishing edition of Timebound (previously self-published as Time's Twisted Arrow) will be available January 1, 2014, but can be pre-ordered at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Timebound-ebook/dp/B00CQC9O16/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_t_1_VS4A.

Research Sources Primary, Secondary, Tertiary!
Three forms of research for students. Primary: first person accounts, eye-witnesses, and direct actors in an historic event. Secondary: scholarly review of the event through collection of data from Primary Sources. They weren't there, but they collected all of the first hand accounts and combed through for what's good and what's horse-pa-too-tey! Tertiary: Collects some data from Primary, gets most of the data from Secondary, but will accept data from every Tom Dick and Dr. Nobody on the planet. Never combes through for the facts. When in doubt... CITE IT OUT!!!- published: 28 Sep 2013
