Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an American animated television series created by Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network Studios. The series, set in a world in which imaginary friends coexist with humans, centers on an eight-year-old boy, Mac, who is pressured by his mother to abandon his imaginary friend, Bloo. After Mac discovers an orphanage dedicated to housing abandoned imaginary friends, Bloo moves into the home and is kept from adoption so long as Mac visits him daily. The episodes revolve around Mac and Bloo as they interact with other imaginary friends and house staff and live out their day-to-day adventures, often getting caught up in various predicaments.
McCracken conceived the series after adopting two dogs from an animal shelter and applying the concept to imaginary friends. The show first premiered on Cartoon Network on August 13, 2004, as a 90-minute television film. On August 20, it began its normal run of twenty-to-thirty-minute episodes on Fridays, at 7 pm. The series finished its run on May 3, 2009, with a total of six seasons and seventy-nine episodes. McCracken left Cartoon Network shortly after the series ended.
Corinne Rey (born 21 August 1982) is a French cartoonist who publishes under the pen name Coco.
Corinne Rey was born 21 August 1982 in Annemasse in south-eastern France. Under the pen name "Coco" she has published in periodicals such as Charlie Hebdo, Les Inrockuptibles, and L'Écho des savanes. Public figures such as politicians Dominique Strauss-Kahn and François Hollande are frequent targets of her political cartoons. She has won a number of awards for her cartooning.
Rey has worked for Charlie Hebdo since 2009, where she did editing and contributed editorial cartoons. She was present at the 2015 massacre at the Charlie Hebdo offices in which twelve were killed. On 7 January 2015, two masked gunmen approached her at the building that houses the Charlie Hebdo offices. They threatened to kill her if she did not enter the passcode to enter the building. They took her to the Charlie Hebdo on the second floor, where she witnessed them kill cartoonists Georges Wolinski and Cabu as she hid under a desk. The gunmen proceeded to another room and fired on the fifteen people in a meeting in progress.
Coco is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. The album was released on July 17, 2007 in the United States, debuting at number 5 on the Billboard 200, selling 51,000 copies in its first week. It also became Caillat's best-selling album, to date, selling 2,100,000 copies in the United States and over 3,000,000 copies around the world. Caillat supported the album with the Coco World Tour.
The album was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA with shipments to U.S. retailers of 2,000,000 units. The album's first single, a smash hit, was "Bubbly", followed by a second single, "Realize", and the third, "The Little Things", which became the final single from the album in the United States. The deluxe edition song, "Somethin' Special (Beijing Olympic Mix)", was released as fourth single on July 29, to give support to the American athletes participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. The song also appeared on the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack.
Inside is the fourteenth studio album by Ronnie Milsap. It was released in 1982 under the RCA Records Label. It contains the hits "Any Day Now", "Inside", and "He Got You".
Inside (French: À l'intérieur) is a 2007 French home invasion horror film directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, starring Alysson Paradis and Béatrice Dalle. It was written by co-director Bustillo, and is the first feature film from either director. It concerns the attack and home-invasion of a young pregnant woman by a mysterious stranger who seeks to take her unborn baby. The film received generally positive reviews from mainstream critics upon its release and was particularly well received among horror film critics, noting it for being a genuinely scary and brutally violent example of the new wave of French horror.
A baby in utero is seen, with the mother's voice heard soothing it. The baby recoils as if struck. Expectant mother Sarah (Paradis) has been in a car accident, and her husband has been killed. Months later on Christmas Eve, Sarah is making final preparations for her delivery the following day. Still reeling from her husband's death, Sarah is now moody and depressed.
In jazz improvisation, outside playing, describes an approach where one plays over a scale, mode or chord that is harmonically distant from the given chord. There are several common techniques to playing outside, that include side-stepping or side-slipping, superimposition of Coltrane changes, and polytonality.
The term side-slipping or side-stepping has been used to describe several similar yet distinct methods of playing outside. In one version, one plays only the five "'wrong'" non-scale notes for the given chord and none of the seven scale or three to four chord tones, given that there are twelve notes in the equal tempered scale and heptatonic scales are generally used. Another technique described as sideslipping is the addition of distant ii-V relationships, such as a half-step above the original ii-V. This increases chromatic tension as it first moves away and then towards the tonic. Lastly, side-slipping can be described as playing in a scale a half-step above or below a given chord, before resolving, creating tension and release.
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was praised by critics and received high ratings during its original run, becoming popular among both younger and older audiences. It received many industry accolades, including five Annie Awards and seven Emmy Awards, winning a total of sixteen awards out of thirty-five nominations. It has since been named by Entertainment Weekly as one of the best Cartoon Network shows and by IGN as the 85th best animated series of all time.

As a person who lived in Singapore, I can't tell you how happy I was knowing that my country existed in the Cartoon Network Universe! I disliked this episode but it's so neat hearing my country's name in one of my favourite cartoons. Clip from Duchess of Wails
