Braugher's first film role was in the 1989's Glory as Thomas Searles. He subsequently moved on to a role on the television series Homicide: Life on the Street as Det. Frank Pembleton. Braugher became the series' breakout star, receiving Television Critics Association awards for individual achievement in drama in 1997 and 1998. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for best actor in a drama series in 1996 and 1998, winning in the latter year. He has also starred in the films City of Angels and Poseidon. In 2000, he played the title role as Ben Gideon in the series Gideon's Crossing, which lasted one season. He played Detective Marcellus Washington in the TV series Hack from 2002-2004. In 2006, Braugher starred as Nick Atwater in the mini-series Thief for FX Networks, winning a second Emmy for his performance. He portrayed General Hager in the 2007 film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Braugher appeared on the TV series House, M.D. as Dr. Nolan, and also appeared in the TNT series Men of a Certain Age, for which he was nominated twice as Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He also voiced the villain Darkseid in the animated film, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. He has a recurring role as defense attorney Bayard Ellis on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and appears as the lead character, Capt. Marcus Chaplin, in ABC's military drama TV series Last Resort. SCOTT SANDERS (WRITER/DIRECTOR) Scott began his career as a television writer working on such hit TV shows as A DIFFERENT WORLD, ROC and THE WAYANS BROTHERS. His directorial debut came on the 1999 HBO feature film THICK AS THIEVES starring Alec Baldwin, Michael Jai White and Andre Braugher. Scott is also one of the most popular DJs in Los Angeles, spinning under the name Suckapunch. Scott was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He is a graduate University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he studied Radio, TV and Motion Pictures. TOMMY DAVIDSON/ CREAM CORN An actor, stand-up comedian, musician, and singer, Tommy Davidsons exceptional range has made him a rising force in entertainment. Perhaps best known as one of the original cast members of the hit television show In Living Color, Davidson has parlayed that success into a flourishing motion picture career. Tommy starred in Spike Lees Bamboozled, where he received acclaim and praise for his turn as Womack/Sleep N Eats, a character which showcased his comedic and dramatic acting abilities. He has also made an impressive film debut opposite Halle Berry in Strictly Business. On the small screen, Davidsons voice was heard in the Disney Channel animated series, The Proud Family. Davidson started his career as a standup comedian in the late 1980s throughout the Washington Metropolitan region, Baltimore, and Philadelphia, performing in various comedy clubs. Performing stand-up in local talent showcases was where he was spotted by concert promoters, who booked him as the opening act for such major music stars such as Patti LaBelle, Kenny G, and Luther Vandross. The next step was Hollywood; he performed at many small clubs, including the Comedy Act Theatre, where among others, he met Robert Townsend and Keenan Ivory Wayans, who would later prove instrumental in Davidsons career. Davidsons first national television appearance was a starring role in Townsends Partners in Crime. Wayans, who offered him the opportunity to audition for a primetime variety show called In Living Color, which became a cult favorite and a huge ratings success, then approached Davidson. Davidsons hilarious impressions of Sammy Davis, Jr., Michael Jackson and others have become infamous. Mae Margaret Whitman (born June 9, 1988) is an American actress and voice artist. She is known for her roles as Ann Veal in the TV series Arrested Development and Amber Holt on the TV series Parenthood, for co-starring in the films Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and for starring in the comedy The Duff. She also voiced Katara in the animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender, Little Suzy in Johnny Bravo, Rose/Huntsgirl in American Dragon: Jake Long, April O'Neil in the 2012 iteration of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tinker Bell in the Tinker Bell movies, and Yuffie Kisaragi in the video game Kingdom Hearts. Acting coach Andrew Magarian helped her memorize lines as she could not read. In 1994, at the age of six, Whitman made her film debut, acting alongside Meg Ryan in When a Man Loves a Woman (1994), playing Ryan's character's youngest daughter, Casey. She beat 700 other girls who were interested in the part. In 1996, Whitman appeared in two films: Independence Day as the President's daughter; and One Fine Day playing George Clooney's character's daughter Maggie. The same year, Whitman guest starred in the episode "The One Where Rachel Quits" of the sitcom Friends. In 1998, she was Sandra Bullock's character's daughter Bernice in Hope Floats. During several guest appearances from 1998 until 2001, Whitman played the role of Chloe Madison on JAG. Chloe was Sarah 'Mac' Mackenzie's (Catherine Bell) Little Sister, through the Big Sister, Little Sister program.[citation needed] In 2001 and 2002, Whitman starred in the Fox Family series State of Grace in which she portrayed Grace from a Catholic background who befriends Hannah, a Jewish girl (Alia Shawkat). Whitman gave voice to Katara of the Water Tribe in the animated show Avatar: The Last Airbender, and previously Rose in American Dragon: Jake Long. She has appeared most recently in the HBO series In Treatment as Rosie. She plays Cynder in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. Whitman voiced the character Tinker Bell in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Disney Tinker Bell films. Pig, Ape and String overhear Don's plans to use Tommy as the fall-guy in the next hijacking.
