BT Vision is a subscription digital TV service offered by BT Group in the United Kingdom which was launched in December 2006. As of March 2012 it had an estimated 717,000 subscribers.
BT Vision is a "hybrid" Digital Terrestrial Television and IPTV service; it delivers TV channels on the DVB-T digital terrestrial platform (using a Freeview decoder) and on-demand content through a hybrid DTT/IP/PVR set-top box, known as the Vision+. BT requires customers to sign up to the BT Broadband internet and phone service in order to use BT Vision, with connection via BT's official router, BT Home Hub.
When British Telecom (BT) was privatised in 1984 it was barred from providing television broadcasts over its telecommunication network, which meant that it was not possible for BT to provide a cable television service. The ban was designed to protect the new smaller telecommunications companies and the small cable television networks in the United Kingdom as it was felt that BT had an unfair advantage because its pre-privatisation monopoly meant that its equipment was already installed in virtually every home and business in the country. In January 2001, the ban was lifted.

Lucy Rose Parton (Born 1989) is an English singer/songwriter from Warwickshire. She contributed vocals on the Bombay Bicycle Club albums Flaws and A Different Kind of Fix.
Lucy Rose never played her material for anyone until she left home after completing her A-levels. At eighteen, she moved to London; but instead of taking her place at University College London to study Geography, she began experimenting and performing with other musicians. It was at this time when she met Jack Steadman, the frontman of Bombay Bicycle Club. After becoming friends Steadman asked if she would like to perform vocals on a song he had written and was recording. The acoustic album Flaws came out with Steadman on lead vocals, and Rose performing backing vocals most notably on the titular track 'Flaws', as well as others on the album. She also performs some backing vocal duties on Bombay Bicycle Club's new album, 'A Different Kind of Fix'.
Lucy Rose often plays with a band, guitar player Björn Ågren, drummer Sam Nadel, bassist Joe Steer from Broadcast 2000 and multi-instrumentalist Alex Eichenberger. She has three singles out; 'Middle of the Bed' , 'Red Face' and 'Scar' which features backing vocals from Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club.
