CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) is a global information technology consulting, services and outsourcing company with commercial and government clients. The company was founded in Detroit, Michigan, in 1974 by Bobby Stevenson and two additional partners to primarily serve the information systems needs of the burgeoning auto industry. They called the company Consultants in Business Engineering Research (CIBER). In 1978, Stevenson became full owner of the company and still today is on the board of directors. CIBER is headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado and has 8,500+ employees working in 19 countries.
