Andarivaadu

Andarivaadu (Telugu: అందరివాడు) is a 2005 Tollywood action comedy-drama film directed by Srinu Vytla. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Rimi Sen, Tabu and Prakash Raj. The film didn't receive critical acclaim, but was commercially successful. It has been dubbed in Hindi as "Ek Aur Himmathwala"

Story

Govinda Rajulu (Chiranjeevi) is a mesthri (construction worker) who drinks a lot and lives a care-free life. His son Siddartha (Chiranjeevi), on the other hand, is a popular TV show host and is a more disciplined man — the opposite of his dad. The son gets his father married to Shanti (Tabu) to sober him.

Siddartha is in love with Shwetha (Rimi Sen), who is the daughter of a big-time contractor, Veerendra (Prakash Raj). Veerendra agrees to get his daughter married but tries to distance the father-son duo as he does not like the father's influence on the son. The situation comes where Shwetha's engagement is called off and she turns vengeful to separate the family. She moves into the house and makes sketches to create differences but fails. The rest of the film is about if she succeeds or not.

Rimi Sen

Rimi Sen (born 21 September 1981) is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films.

Biography

Sen was born as Shubhomitra Sen in Kolkata, West Bengal. She completed her schooling from Bidya Bharati Girls' High School in the year 1998. She completed her graduation in Commerce from University of Calcutta.

Career

Since childhood Sen nursed the dream of becoming an actress. After completing her studies, she persuaded her mother to accompany her to Mumbai. She later said that she wasn't encouraged by anyone in her family except for her grandfather. After doing the rounds, she got into ads including one Coca-Cola ad with Aamir Khan. She was instantly noticed and her first offers for films started rolling in.

Rimi made her debut as a lead actress in the Telugu movie Nee Thodu Kavali. Her debut Hindi film, Vijay Galani's Hungama, released in 2003. It was a comedy film, in which she co-starred with Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, and Paresh Rawal.

She followed it with appearances in big budget movies like Dhoom (2004), Kyon Ki (2005), Garam Masala (2005) and Golmaal (2006). She also did a cameo in the 2006 film Dhoom 2, and followed it with Johnny Gaddaar alongside newcomer actor Neil Nitin Mukesh. In 2008, she appeared in De Taali and in Sankat City and Horn Ok Pleasse in 2009. All three of these films were box office disasters. After these films, her career has declined.

Devi Sri Prasad is an Indian music composer, singer, and director. He is also known for his works in Telugu cinema. Among his Awards five are Filmfare Best Music Director South Awards, four CineMAA Awards - Best Music Director. Devi also choreographed a song in Telugu film Kumari 21F.

Chiranjeevi

Chiranjeevi (Telugu : చిరంజీవి), born as Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, 22 August 1955, is an Indian film actor, dancer, producer, singer, voice artist, politician, businessman, investor and a member of the Indian National Congress. He was the Minister of State with independent charge for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Prior to politics, Chiranjeevi has attended the Madras Film Institute, and had worked primarily in Telugu cinema, in addition to Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. He made his acting debut in 1978, with the film Punadhirallu. However, Pranam Khareedu was released earlier at the box office. Chiranjeevi is known for his break dancing skills. He was the guest of honor at the 59th Academy Awards. In the same year, he starred in Swayam Krushi, which premiered at the Moscow International Film Festival. In 1988, he co-produced Rudraveena, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. In a film career spanning thirty five years, he won four state Nandi Awards and ten Filmfare Awards South including the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South.

Srinu Vaitla

Srinu Vaitla is an Indian film director associated with Telugu cinema. He is from the village of Kandulapalem, East Godavari District. His first mainstream movie as a director was Nee Kosam (1999) starring Ravi Teja and Maheswari. Though the movie was an average flick at the box office, it was critically acclaimed. He shot to fame with his second movie Anandam (2001), released in 2001. He made his own impression on the Telugu Cinema comedy. Most importantly, he is known for implementing parabolic narrative for the first time in Indian cinema. This can be observed in his movies Venky, Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready. He played cameo in Rainbow and Parama Veera Chakra movies. One of the biggest blockbusters in his career was Dookudu starring Mahesh Babu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Since Venky, Gopimohan and Kona Venkat have been script writers for his movies.
