It has been theorized that he died due to medical malpractice as he was subject to four rounds of bloodletting Washington came out of retirement to lead the nation's military in 1798 against the French Washington made a style of whiskey we would consider "moonshine" today, which is why there are so many rumors about him being a moonshiner He paid taxes, however, and had a license, so he was actually considered a distiller At one point in time his distillery produced 11,000 gallons of whiskey in one year He also grew hemp as a cash crop But it's not what you think, many farmers in that day grew and sold hemp because it was used to make rope, paper, and other products Washington was actually quite an agricultural innovator and supposedly introduced the idea of crop rotation He also allegedly introduced mules to America when he bred donkeys from the King of Spain with his own horses In a 2012 poll in Great Britain, General Washington was voted as the greatest military enemy to face the Empire--beating out even Napoleon He is the only president in American history to be unanimously elected to office He didn't have a middle name He didn't wear a wig. That's real hair in all of his pictures He was made an honorary citizen of France in 1792 He is the only president to have actually gone into battle while serving as president In 1976 he was posthumously rewarded the highest rank in the American military ever...General of the Armies of the United States

The United States was established by the people who immigrated from England and Europe and settled in America where Indians had already been living. George was born in February 1732. When George was 16 years old, he worked as a surveying engineer for Mr. Fairfax. The United States was under the control of the French and British military. A British military officer decided to send a message to the French military to say a war should not break out. The French military joined forces with American Indians and started the war. The British lost the war, although it received assistance from its mainland the United Kingdom in fighting the enemy. "We cannot hand over Virginia to France. Let's defend it." The people of Virginia had Washington as their commander and fought against France. Washington led his army and fought away the French military. Now peace seemed to have come to the United States, but this time the British military behaved high-handedly toward them. The British military imposed heavy taxes on goods to collect various taxes from the Americans. The United States sent a letter to the United Kingdom and requested it to stop its high-handedness toward Americans. At last the US people fought the British military under the command of General Washington in order to gain independence Many Americans threw away their shovels and hoes but picked up their weapons to participate in the war. One day Washington went to Sergeant Jack who were standing guard and delivered him a letter from his hometown. "I will stand guard in place of you. Read this letter and write a reply to your parents." The war lasted for 8 years, and the British military finally surrendered to the United States. After the war, the United States selected Washington as its first president. The United States was gradually establishing itself as a country while Washington was serving as its president. Washington worked in the fields in his hometown until he died at the age of 67 in December, 1799. He lived in accordance with this belief. 'You must always try to keep your remarks and acts upright in order not to leave any shame behind you.'

About, not long ago, we had to memorize-and say aloud-such things as the "Preamble" or "Gettysburg Address?" Etc. So ... here is the reading of "The Declaration of Independence," which was the way the History Channel closed out its recent mini-series, "Sons of Liberty." I was able to find this version ... with sub-titles ... so that we could also read the words, as Jason O'Mara ended his portrayal of George Washington in the series ... Here is how the History Channel described the series: "A dramatic interpretation of events," and that the goal of the miniseries was "to capture the spirit of the time, convey the personalities of the main characters, and focus on real events that have shaped our past." Do I wish they didn't include some of the scenes? Of course ... This video is really good to watch if you are studying about American Revolution. The Revolutionary War officially ends with the signing of a peace treaty in Paris. However, things aren't so peaceful back in the new nation: army officers during the war are upset that congress isn't paying them their proper compensation. Their contempt almost leads to violence until General Washington single-handedly stops them with a pair of eyeglasses. In France, Dr. Franklin writes a letter to Moses informing him that a peace treaty has been signed with Great Britain. Back in America, Sara and Henri are about start on a meal when James comes running in with news. James tells them about how George Washington could have been King of America. We are shown a flashback of James witnessing a group of disgruntled American high ranking officers conspiring to make congress pay their rightful compensation. James goes to Washington and informs him of what he had witnessed. Washington tells him that there have been pamphlets circulating of armed rebellion. He also shows him a letter from his friend asking him to be king and tells James the story of Caesar. James asks him if he would accept but Washington says no. In Congress, James Madison informs the delegates that the army is planning an armed uprising for not paying their compensation. In the next scene, the disgruntled officers meet and Washington tells James that he will address them and that he will show them that her wears eyeglasses to appear humble. He then proceeds to address them, reminding them of the hardships they faced together during the war. He then proceeds to wear his glasses and single-handedly stops the disgruntled officers from proceeding with any armed rebellion. In November 1783, the British finally end their occupation of New York. Meanwhile, Washington addresses his officers for the last time and bids farewell. In December, Washington formally resigns his commission to Congress, prompting James, Sara and Henri to tears. In the final scene, we see Washingon back at his home in Mount Vernon.
