Hate is the Third studio album by Brazilian extreme metal band Sarcófago, released in 1994 through Cogumelo Records. It has a more stripped-down approach than their previous record,The Laws of Scourge (1991).
Hate is also notable for its controversial use of a drum machine, which was used because there were no drummers who could play as fast as the band wished. The band was trying to be the fastest band in the world.
Lamounier claimed to have no qualms about using this device, on the basis that most death metal drummers use trigger pads for recording purposes, which in the end produces the same homogenized sound as that of a drum machine.
The song "Satanic Terrorism" is about the 'Inner Circle' church burnings in Norway at the beginning of the 90s; Sarcófago was accused of supporting these acts, but Lamounier claims that the song only describes the acts.
"Hate (I Really Don't Like You)" is a single by the Plain White T's. It is the first single from their fourth studio album Every Second Counts, released in 2006. This song has an acoustic version available on the Best Buy version of Every Second Counts. The song had become one of the band's highest charting singles.
The video has been seen on MTV, Kerrang!, MTV2 and Fuse TV. The music video shows lead singer Tom Higgenson taking a stroll in the city while many scenes of chaos are happening. It also has shots of the band performing in what seems to be a warehouse. His ex-girlfriend, played by Italia Ricci, comes along, and in surprise continues to watch him perform. It was filmed in Toronto, Canada.
Hate is the second studio album by Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder. The album was released on October 19, 2012 through Halfcut Records, but was reissued on April 5, 2013 through Nuclear Blast after the band signed to the label. The album debuted at no. 35 on the ARIA Charts, making Thy Art Is a Murder the first extreme metal band ever to break the top 40. The album also reached no. 1 on AIR and peaked at 31 on the Top Heatseekers chart.
On March 31, 2013 Metal Hammer began streaming the album in full, in anticipation of the Nuclear Blast re-release.
AllMusic described the sound of the album as deathcore, as well as stating that the album is free of the cliches of the genre by noting that the group's focus is on "pushing the limits of intensity rather than just seeing how many breakdowns they can fit into a song"Exclaim! also noted the complexitiy of the music in comparison to other deathcore groups, describing the album's sound as a "harsh change from the simplistic sound popularized by Suicide Silence and their peers."
Necropolis is a 26-part Judge Dredd epic by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, published in 1990 in 2000 AD progs 674–699. The story was the subject of extensive foreshadowing in the comic, beginning with The Dead Man (progs 650–662), followed by "Tale of the Dead Man" (progs 662–668), and finally three stories collectively known as "Countdown to Necropolis" (progs 669–673). It pulled together various story threads going back four years (see also Democracy (Judge Dredd storyline)). "Necropolis" was also followed by a number of epilogues and other follow-up stories, and had repercussions within the Judge Dredd strip which lasted for years.
Unusually, Judge Dredd himself does not appear in 13 of the 26 episodes of "Necropolis", or in any of the 5 episodes of "Countdown to Necropolis."
Deflorate is the fourth album by American metal band, The Black Dahlia Murder. Released through Metal Blade Records on September 15, 2009. It is the first release by the band to feature lead guitarist Ryan Knight.
The album sold 12,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release and debuted at position #43 on the Billboard 200.
Deflorate is the first album to feature new guitarist Ryan Knight, who replaced John Kempainen. Trevor has stated in an interview that the album has more of a "classic feel" and that the drums have more of a "live sound". Trevor has also touched on the lyrical subjects of some songs, such as "I Will Return" being about cryogenic freezing. The third track of the album, "A Selection Unnatural", was uploaded for stream on July 7, 2009 at the Revolver website. The cover art was painted by Tony Koehl. The album comes with a bonus DVD titled "We're Going Places (We've Never Been Before)" that contains tour footage from around the world as well as in-studio recording footage. A video for "Necropolis" was made available at www.revolvermag.com on September 4, 2009. Necropolis is also a free song on Tap Tap Revenge 3 and was a part of the soundtrack for the 2011 video game Saint's Row: The Third. The album reached to #43 on the Billboard 200 in one week.
Necropolis is the eighth studio album by the Polish death metal band Vader. The album was released on August 21, 2009 by Nuclear Blast. On April 8, 2009, Vader released the first part of their studio report for the album. Subsequently, the second part was released on April 22, and the third part was released on May 27.

Necropolis is the first Vader release that features drummer Paweł "Paul" Jaroszewicz. A video was shot for the song "Never Say My Name", which is based partially on the book "The Gospel According To Satan" by Patrick Graham. Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek talked about working on the set for videoclip, saying:

(chant of the Nephilim)
Find the darkness in yourself!
Yea! Try taste the blood from a thousand cuts,
Bless your enemies with your razor's kiss,
Bring 'em blinding shattering silver tears,
See the world behind you dead and gone,,
Where no one lives but the beasts alone,
Rise and see, rise and see, rise and see,
When the moon will share the pre-dawn sky,
Rise and see, rise and see, rise and see,
There's more to darkness than meets your eye,
Hear the eternal swallowing cosmic cries,
See my anger rising from its core,
Putrid piles of fucking human waste,
Wandering from king to king in hell,
Burning crystalline devil's flame,
Apocalyptic haunted futures seen,
Rise and see, rise and see, rise and see,
A bloodshed in the flight of dawn,
Rise and see, rise and see, rise and see,
When the moon will share the pre-dawn sky,
Rise and see, rise and see, rise and see,
There's more to darkness than meets your eye,
[solo: Adam the First Sinner]
With wanton ecstasy,
We smile and the world spins around,
You're churning me, twisting, sucking on the life,
In chaotic bliss,
See us in the world where sanity is just a fiery myth.
Toxic blood flows from our veins, in chaotic bliss,
Like skin falling off a bone,
You're churning me, sucking on the life,
With wanton ecstasy,
We smile and the world spins around,
We'd rather crawl from king to king in hell.
