The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages (Japanese: ゼルダの伝説 ふしぎの木の実 ~大地の章・時空の章~, Hepburn: Zeruda no Densetsu: Fushigi no Kinomi ~Daichi no Shō/Jikū no Shō~, lit. "The Legend of Zelda: The Mysterious Seeds ~Chapter of Earth/Chapter of Space Time~") are two action-adventure games in the Legend of Zelda series, developed by Flagship (a subsidiary of Capcom). They were released on February 27, 2001 in Japan, May 14, 2001 in North America, and October 5, 2001 in Europe for Nintendo's Game Boy Color handheld console. Both games were re-released on the Virtual Console for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on February 27, 2013 and in North America and Europe on May 30, 2013. The games feature a brighter color palette when played on a Nintendo Game Boy Advance in order to make up for the darkness of the screen, and a special shop is also made available. After experimenting with porting the original The Legend of Zelda to the Game Boy Color, the Flagship team, supervised by Yoshiki Okamoto, began developing three interconnected Zelda games that could be played in any order. The complexity of this system led the team to cancel one game.
The Legend of Zelda (Japanese: ゼルダの伝説, Hepburn: Zeruda no Densetsu) is a high-fantasy action-adventure video game series created by Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. It is primarily developed and published by Nintendo, although some portable installments have been outsourced to Capcom, Vanpool, and Grezzo. The series' gameplay incorporates elements of action, adventure, and puzzle-solving games. The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's most prominent franchises.
The series centers on Link, the playable character and chief protagonist. Link is often given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule from Ganon, who is the principal antagonist of the series; however, other settings and antagonists have appeared in several titles. The games' plots commonly involve a relic known as the Triforce, a set of three omnipotent golden triangles. The protagonist in each game is usually not the same incarnation of Link, but a few exceptions exist.
A legend is a historical narrative, a symbolic representation of folk belief.

It may also refer to:
In classical antiquity, an oracle was a person or agency considered to provide wise counsel or prophetic predictions or precognition of the future, inspired by the gods. As such it is a form of divination.
The word oracle comes from the Latin verb ōrāre "to speak" and properly refers to the priest or priestess uttering the prediction. Interestingly the word Oraculum can be considered as two Arabic words joined and spoken as one: ( أورى ) Ori and ( كلم) culum. It refers to: speaking words in an unclear codified way. Similarity occurs between that meaning and the mysterious speaking style of those known as Oracles, whether in literature, movies, or else where. In extended use, oracle may also refer to the site of the oracle, and to the oracular utterances themselves, called khrēsmoi (χρησμοί) in Greek.
Oracles were thought to be portals through which the gods spoke directly to people. In this sense they were different from seers (manteis, μάντεις) who interpreted signs sent by the gods through bird signs, animal entrails, and other various methods.

http://www.longplays.org Played by: Tsunao Zelda game by Capcom. Follow Zelda as he uses a stick to change the weather. A big d00d is involved. Two witches may or may not be involved. Part of a series (Oracle), this game focuses on lots of action. Other than that, it is just another Zelda game. This longplay goes for all Heart Pieces and Secrets (passwords). The non-Linked longplay was played first to get access to the Red Ring, which ended up breaking the Linked Ages playthrough. The Seasons Linked longplay is from a 3-game clear, going to a fourth clear (Seasons to Ages, then Ages to Seasons). I don't attempt to get the Red Ring in the Linked Seasons longplay since it requires too much work to get. Speaking of Red Ring: I don't abuse it in the Linked portion of Seasons.

Boss Keys is an on-going research project to analyse the level design of the dungeons in The Legend of Zelda. This time, it's the turn of Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons.
As you may or may not know the games Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are going to be released for the Nintendo 3DS in the Nintendo eShop.(Check out the Nintendo Direct 5.17.2013 announcement) I did a comparison for the GB versions. Since the game is being re-released for the 3DS, it's a perfect time to do this video! This is the intro opening for the two games... first together, then separate... The two videos are both GB. The only difference the 3DS has would be the screen brightness (assuming) Want to stalk me and see what I'm up to as well as some random things I post, just add me on these sites! Of all the things to get stoopid on, this is not what I would have expected! So far though, Oracle of Seasons' outlook is pretty sunny. The anticipation of just wondering when my stupidass finally figures it out, it goes on for a while, but it has to, or else the moment of realization just doesn't carry the same weight! ========== Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/lost_caprisun Twitch: http://twitch.tv/nintendocaprisun FB: http://www.facebook.com/nintendocaprisun
