Plot: 1905, Maharashtra. Latika gets married into a family where her husband, an open minded person with a new wave of thoughts, passes away a few weeks after marriage. Widowed, Latika is asked to go bald and wear the widow's garb for the rest of her life. Her brother-in-law, Shridhar essays roles of women in the local musical theatre. Latika, who is educated, feels disgusted seeing a 'man' dressed in an attire that is rightfully hers, creating tension in their relationship. However, they get to know each other better through the course of time, eventually falling in love. Full of questions, their relationship stands at a threshold, where there is no going back, and this happens on the auspicious night of Pradosh.

Plot: Vijay lives a wealthy lifestyle in India along with his wife, Amrita, to who he has been married to for 27 years, and a daughter, Ritu, who is now 18 years of age. The family has a vast estate, where Vijay likes to trek around indulging in his sole passion - photography. Amrita, who was an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer, she even won two gold medals, gave up her passion to look after the family. This holiday, Ritu brought along a friend, Jia, to this household. Jia, quite childish, now lives with her divorcée mom in Brisbane, Australia, resents her lifestyle, especially after her mom started living with another man.
