Burlesque: Seriously Good Music is a compilation album of eclectic and quirky contemporary burlesque and neo-burlesque performers from around the world, released in 2007. It was assembled by CM Murphy, manager of INXS and founder of Petrol Records. The album was released on compact disc by Petrol and EMI America Records with liner notes by Deborah Niski. Original, naughty, sometimes freaky and frequently funny—not just for tassel teasing but good for a party and flicking the feather duster around the house.
In 2006–2007, Petrol Records released a series of eleven albums in the Seriously Good Music series. Each album focuses on a specific genre or subgenre: Bollywood, bossa nova, burlesque, Celtic music, cocktail, Gypsy music, Latin music, lounge music, reggae, salsa music (and a second salsa album). The Burlesque collection is generally regarded as the best in the series.
Family Π is a group of New Testament manuscripts. Belonging to the Byzantine text-type, it is one of the textual families of this group. The name of the family, "Π" (pronounced in English as "pie"), is drawn from the symbol used for the Codex Petropolitanus. One of the most distinct of the Byzantine sub-groups, it is very old and the third largest. The oldest Byzantine manuscripts belong to this family.
Hermann von Soden designated this group by the symbol "Ka". According to him, its text is not purely Byzantine.
Soden included the following in this group of codices: Cyprius (K), Petropolitanus (Π), 72, 114, 116, 178, 265, 389, 1008, 1009, 1079, 1154, 1200, 1219, 1346, and 1398. Lake added to this group of manuscripts: 489, 537, 652, 775, 796, 904, 1478, 1500, 1546, 1561, 1781, 1816. Soden also associated Codex Alexandrinus with this group. Wisse lists about 150 witnesses of the family, but the majority of them belong to this family only in some parts of their text. The Peshitta, in the Gospels, represents this family.
In mathematics, an index set is a set whose members label (or index) members of another set. For instance, if the elements of a set A may be indexed or labeled by means of a set J, then J is an index set. The indexing consists of a surjective function from J onto A and the indexed collection is typically called an (indexed) family, often written as (Aj)j∈J.
The set of all the functions is an uncountable set indexed by
.
In computational complexity theory and cryptography, an index set is a set for which there exists an algorithm I that can sample the set efficiently; i.e., on input 1n, I can efficiently select a poly(n)-bit long element from the set.
Family was a cult band from Spain in the 1990s. Although initially unsuccessful, Family gradually acquired a fanbase and is now highly recognised in the Spanish underground pop scene. Their only album, Un Soplo en el Corazón has been praised for its poetic lyrics, inspired music and elegant artwork.

A special treat for Record Store Day! We're delighted to release two classic Rock tunes which have never been on 12" ever and now both have the benefit of receiving spanking new Ashley Beedle re-edits, which take both tunes to another level. Family's "Burlesque", always one of the GREAT Funk/Rock classics, now gets re-booted into a tour-de-force of sonic wizardry with a 5.33 booming Ashley Beedle workout designed to shake the foundations of any room. From the second that Rob Townsend and John Wetton's drum and bass establishes the groove and Charlie Whitney's guitar riff kicks in we know we're in for a masterpiece Funk/Rock opus before Roger Chapman floors everyone with his best razor-gargling wailing ever. A masterpiece! Appreciated in collector's circles and with Rolling Stones ...

A blues-based band with art rock inclinations, Family were one of the more interesting groups of hippie-era Britain. Fronted by the deft and frequently excellent guitar playing of John "Charlie" Whitney and the raspy, whiskey-and-cigarette voice of Roger Chapman, Family were much loved in England and Europe but barely achieved cult status in America. While bands like Jethro Tull, Ten Years After, and the Keith Emerson-led Nice (and later Emerson, Lake & Palmer) sold lots of records, Family, who frequently toured with these bands, were left in the shadows, an odd band loved by a small but rabid group of fans. -uploaded in HD at http://www.TunesToTube.com
