The Belli, also designated ‘Beli’ or ‘Belaiscos’ were an ancient pre-Roman CelticCeltiberian people that lived in the modern Spanish province of Zaragoza from the 3rd Century BC.
.
The Belli were of Celtic origin and part of the Celtiberians. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that the ancestors of the Celtiberian groups were installed in the Meseta area of the Iberian peninsula from at least 1000 BC and probably much earlier. The most complete Celtiberian text we have on the bronze 'hospitality tokens' that acted as a sort of identity card is from the Belli and reads lubos alisokum aualoske kontebias belaiskas meaning 'Lubos of the Aliso family, son of Aualos, from Contrebia Belaisca' showing the self-description of this man, by paternity, extended family and territory which is characteristically Celtic.
Willam Belli (born June 30, 1982) is a film and television actor best known for his recurring role as transsexual Cherry Peck in Nip/Tuck. He has been in numerous feature films films including American Wedding, Because I Said So, and The Watch. His television credits include Southland, My Name is Earl, Criminal Minds,CSI:NY, and Boston Public.
Belli was a contestant on season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race where he is featured as himself and as drag persona "Willam" and was disqualified in the "Frenemies" episode. No solid explanation was given during the original episode except that he "broke rules". Belli later explained in the season's reunion special, in an interview with RuPaul, that he was disqualified because: “My husband was coming to bang me out.” According to Willam, his husband was making "conjugal visits" to his hotel room while on the show. His Twitter page used the publicity of the mystery rule to advertise his "Chick-fil-A" video, a satirical music video that mocks the restaurant chain's strong anti-gay beliefs.
Jonny McGovern (born July 12, 1975), also known by his character name The Gay Pimp, is an American stand-up comedian, musician and podcaster. He has recorded three albums as comedic singer The Gay Pimp, and is also a cast member of Logo's The Big Gay Sketch Show.
Jonny McGovern was born to Mary McGovern and Rob Gutowski in Brooklyn, New York. His parents traveled often and McGovern grew up primarily in Egypt and Thailand. McGovern later returned to the United States to study acting at Boston University, where he earned a BFA.
McGovern stated that he was inspired to create his signature comedic character, The Gay Pimp, after listening to rap songs and interviews by Eminem. McGovern has said,
After the songs from the show began to get heavy rotation in New York City nightclubs, McGovern was approached about making a music video for one of his songs, Soccer Practice. The video for Soccer Practice, which received heavy rotation in dance clubs as well as notoriety on the Internet, featured McGovern in a shirt that was emblazoned with the sequined words "Gay Pimp." In it, he cavorted and simulated sex with scantily-clad men.
Since I've been gone
You've had your number changed
But my love for you, girl
Still remains the same
Now I've been loving you
And you've been loving me
So long, baby, what's wrong
So I'm asking baby, baby, baby
Please let me have your number, yeah
Baby, baby, baby
Please let me have your number
I'm sorry you couldn't call me
When you got home
But other fellows kept on calling
While you were gone
So I had the number changed
But I'm not acting strange
Welcome home, nothing's wrong
So I'm saying, baby, baby, baby
You can have my private number
Baby, baby, baby
You can have my private number
Oh, thank you
Baby, baby, baby
You can have my private number
Thank you, baby
Baby, baby, baby
For giving me your private number
You can have it
Thank you, baby
(Baby, baby, baby)
You can have it
Thank you, baby
Anytime you want it
Thank you, baby
