Zainal Abidin (also spelled Zeynel Abidin or Zeynelabidin) may refer to:
Indonesian Film Festival (Festival Film Indonesia or known as FFI) is an annual Indonesian awards ceremony honoring cinematic achievements in the film industry, which is organized by Indonesian Film Board. The festival show features announcement of Piala Citra winners and presentation of best Indonesian films of each year.
The awards ceremony was first held in 1955 (named Pekan Apresiasi Film Nasional, changed into Festival Film Indonesia in 1973). In 1986, the festival also honouring the awards for television movies with the award called Piala Vidia.
This awards ceremony is often compared to the Academy Awards of the United States.
A film, also called a movie, motion picture or photoplay, is a series of still images which, when shown on a screen, creates the illusion of moving images due to the phi phenomenon. This optical illusion causes the audience to perceive continuous motion between separate objects viewed rapidly in succession. A film is created by photographing actual scenes with a motion picture camera; by photographing drawings or miniature models using traditional animation techniques; by means of CGI and computer animation; or by a combination of some or all of these techniques and other visual effects. The word "cinema", short for cinematography, is often used to refer to the industry of films and filmmaking or to the art of filmmaking itself. The contemporary definition of cinema is the art of simulating experiences to communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty or atmosphere by the means of recorded or programmed moving images along with other sensory stimulations.
The process of filmmaking is both an art and an industry.

Indonesia (i/ˌɪndəˈniːʒə/ IN-də-NEE-zhə or /ˌɪndoʊˈniːziə/ IN-doh-NEE-zee-ə; Indonesian: [ɪndonesia]), officially the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian: Republik Indonesia [rɛpublik ɪndonesia]), is a sovereign island country in Southeast Asia and Oceania. It is the largest island country in the world by the number of islands, with more than fourteen thousand islands. The world's most populous island of Java contains more than half of the country's population.
Indonesia's republican form of government includes an elected legislature and president. Indonesia has 34 provinces, of which five have Special Administrative status. Its capital city is Jakarta. The country shares land borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and the Malaysian Borneo. Other neighbouring countries include Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Palau, and the Indian territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A festival is an event ordinarily celebrated by a community and centering on some characteristic aspect of that community and its religion or traditions, often marked as a local or national holiday, mela or eid. Next to religion and folklore, a significant origin is agricultural. Food is such a vital resource that many festivals are associated with harvest time. Religious commemoration and thanksgiving for good harvests are blended in events that take place in autumn, such as Halloween in the northern hemisphere and Easter in the southern.
Festivals often serve to fulfill specific communal purposes, especially in regard to commemoration or thanksgiving. The celebrations offer a sense of belonging for religious, social, or geographical groups, contributing to group cohesiveness. They may also provide entertainment, which was particularly important to local communities before the advent of mass-produced entertainment. Festivals that focus on cultural or ethnic topics also seek to inform community members of their traditions; the involvement of elders sharing stories and experience provides a means for unity among families.

Syari'at Islam sudah komprehensif, mengatur seluruh aspek kehidupan manusia.

Formed in 1966 by a group of boy scouts, The Dukes were one of the bands that made it big in the Singapore 60s. The Dukes played a sophisticated variety of original pop that took in big band numbers and even cha cha. Various singers fronted the band, including Bobby Lambert, Winston Walters, and Stevie Lorraine. Signed to Philips, The Dukes recorded four EPs and two singles, and their music showed that class had a place in pop. After stopping for 41 years, The Dukes reformed in 2014 and have been playing gigs since. This interview with original member, Zainal Abidin, was made for the retrospective exhibition, So Happy: 50 Years Of Singapore Rock, held at The Substation from 8 to 26 April 2015.
