Last year, also at the National Bowling Stadium, Lodge Lanes Too of Orlando, Fla., claimed the Regular Team title at the 2013 #USBCOpen with a then-record score of 3,538. Anchor bowler, Team USA member John Janawicz, delivered three strikes in his final frame to help his team top the 20-year-old record of 3,537, set by Bruegger's Bagels of Albany, N.Y., in 1993. The team includes USBC Hall of Famer John Gaines, former Team USA member Vernon Peterson and two-time OC titlist Mitch Jabczenski. PBA champion Scott Newell is the fifth member of the group, but is not eligible for the 2014 tournament because of his Tour win. Now, they're headed back to the lanes at the NBS to put their title on the line. Check out the Open Championships leaderboards: http://t.bowl.com/1hokKX5 For more informa...
