How To Delete A YouTube Page Channel - Update 0:03 In this video, I am going to show you how to delete those unwanted page channels that you may have on your YouTube account. If you have been trying to change your name, you may have added one or two extra page channels on your YouTube account. And with the new Creator Studio Layout on YouTube, you may not be able to find out how to delete them. 0:55 The first thing we need to do is make sure that we are in the correct channel. You may have different icons on here, so make sure you are in the right channel. 1:12 In order to delete our YouTube channel we need to do two things. One is to delete the channel itself and, that, we need to do first. And then, the second thing is to delete our Google+ account. 1:20 What we need to do is open up a new tab here and then just type "+.Google.com". Now, make sure that you are logged in, on the top here, on the correct account. If not then just click on your icon, again, click there, and you will see that you are in the correct account with your name, there. 1:43 Once you are in here, then, we can leave that page alone, where it is, and, then, go back to our channel. As I said, with the first step we need to do, we need to delete the channel itself. We do that by going up to our icon here, clicking on the YouTube settings cog, then underneath your name, you click on 'Advanced'. 2:03 Down at the bottom of the page, you will see delete channel. Now, if you don't see this on your page, then you're probably in a profile channel, which is the other type of channel. That's this type of channel here. If I click in here, you'll see the difference in the page. If this is what you're seeing, then you're not on a page channel, so you can't delete your account, this way. 2:24 You need to be in a page channel in order to delete this way. So, make sure, that you're in your page channel. When you are, click on 'Delete channel', then you'll have this option, here, to 'Delete channel', again. Now, we have our channel deleted, as it just defaults back to YouTube.com. Once you have that done, head on over to Google+, then from the side, here, click on 'Settings ' from the dropdown. 2:52 Scroll all the way to the bottom, where it says 'Delete Page', and then, click on that. So, you can see, you can transfer ownership of this page instead of deleting it. Learn more. We just want to delete the page. Click on 'Delete Page', select all of these, 'Yes, I understand'. Delete and delete. And there you go, we have that deleted now. And if we click on the name on the top, you, only, have one here. And, we, still, have the sign in button, there. So, we have deleted a Google+ page channel and, also, the Google+ page that is associated with that YouTube channel as well. 3:27 So, that's it, those are the simple steps to delete those unwanted page channels from your YouTube account. So, you can go ahead and delete those unwanted pages that you don't want any more.
