Sean Yazbeck (born 1972) is the winner of the fifth season (2006) of the reality show The Apprentice, where candidates compete in several tasks on a 15-week "job interview" for a position in one of Donald Trump's companies. He was the first non-American to be selected during the run of The Apprentice.
As winner of The Apprentice, Yazbeck was selected by Donald Trump to oversee development of the $500 million five-star hotel condominium, Trump International Hotel and Tower (SoHo), in New York City’s SoHo district. He also worked with the Trump Institute (Trump University) to set up WAVSYS, an international technical staffing company with offices in the United States, Canada, UK and India. In 2011, WAVSYS appeared in the Inc 500 ‘Fastest Growing Companies in America’ list, with its United States entity registering 760% growth over three years, $15.2 million in revenue and 264 employees. In an interview with Inc Magazine, Yazbeck attributed some of the success of WAVSYS to lessons learned while working for Trump as The Apprentice.

In 2010, Trump expressed an interest in becoming a candidate for President of the United States in the 2012 election. In May 2011, he announced he would not be a candidate, but a few weeks later he said he had not completely ruled out the possibility. In December 2011, Trump was suggested as a possible Vice Presidential selection by Michele Bachmann. Bachmann has since suspended her presidential campaign.
