Odd horn on Amtrak P42DC 101
We are in
White River Junction, where we see
Amtrak Train 57, the Vermonter to
Washington DC, as it arrives at and departs from the station.
Today, 57 is double ended, with a
P42 on either end. Today's consist is
Genesis P42DC 101 with 5 Amfleet I's, which includes a cafe car, with Genesis P42DC
110 bringing up the markers. As a side note, I am not sure what was up with the horn of the
101, but it's either some kind of hybrid horn, or it is really clogged with snow.
Either way, it sounded interesting.
