Risāla means "message" in Arabic. It is also an Islamic term that has a broader meaning. The Risala is the channel between Allah and mankind
The Message (Arabic ar-Risāla) is sometimes a way to refer to Islam. In the Islamic context, ar-Risāla means scriptures revealed from God through a Messenger (Arabic ar-Rasūl) to the people. These messengers bring laws to their communities so as to guide them towards the straight path of God. They can be social laws, state laws or any other kind of laws.
To understand this concept better, it is important to know how Muslims look at the different terminologies of Messenger, Prophet, Imam, Guardian and Wise man.
This is also the title of a popular work of Fiqh for the Maliki school of thought written by Ibn Abi Zayd of al-Qayrawan. This work was the source text for many later works of Islamic Law and for one of the first Islamic texts the Bilali Document written in the United States written by Bilali Muhammad, a slave in Georgia, originally from Timbo, Guinea.
The Message is a goatrance album produced by the Israeli project Message From God.
The Message is the debut studio album of American hip hop group Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, released in October 1982 by Sugar Hill Records.
The Message was released in October 1982 by Sugar Hill Records. It was the only album released while the group's original line-up was together. The album charted at number 53 in the United States and at number 77 in the United Kingdom. Music journalist Robert Christgau gave it an "A–" and said that, although "She's Fresh" is the "only instant killer", each song's attempt to experiment and "touch a lot of bases with a broad demographic ... justifies itself". He named it the 21st best album of 1982 in his dean's list for the Pazz & Jop critics' poll.
In a retrospective review, AllMusic's Ron Wynn gave The Message four-and-a-half out of five stars and called it the group's "ultimate peak" whose highlight was the title track.Miles Marshall Lewis, writing in The Rolling Stone Album Guide (2004), gave its 2002 British reissue four out of five stars and cited "The Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel" as the album's "clincher" and "the only prime-period example of Flash's ability to set and shatter moods, with his turntables and faders running through a collage of at least 10 records that sound like hundreds."Colin Larkin also gave it four stars in his Encyclopedia of Popular Music (2006). Mark Richardson from Pitchfork Media said that The Message features "two absolutely essential songs"—the title track and "Scorpio", which he dubbed "the greatest early electro track". However, he felt the rest of the songs were inferior and gave the album a score of 6.4 out of 10.
In computer science, message passing sends a message to a process (which may be an actor or object) and relies on the process and the supporting infrastructure to select and invoke the actual code to run. Message passing differs from conventional programming where a process, subroutine, or function is directly invoked by name. Message passing is key to some models of concurrency and object-oriented programming.
Message passing is used ubiquitously in modern computer software. It is used as a way for the objects that make up a program to work with each other and as a way for objects and systems running on different computers (e.g., the Internet) to interact. Message passing may be implemented by various mechanisms, including channels.
Message passing is a technique for invoking behavior (i.e., running a program) on a computer. In contrast to the traditional technique of calling a program by name, message passing uses an object model to distinguish the general function from the specific implementations. The invoking program sends a message and relies on the object to select and execute the appropriate code. The justifications for using an intermediate layer essentially falls into two categories: encapsulation and distribution.

Ran through the field that I'd once known
Read the books, traveled alone
But I can't say that I was by myself
You were always with me, we had no one else
And if I had my way I might just go alone
And if we can't agree, I'll take my things and go
I realized you helped along the way
But do I owe you everything I earned my way?
We will always say goodnight
We will always say what's right
We can never say goodbye
Here's to the time spent on the road
And here's to the girls they'd come and go
Here's for the time I lost your keys
And for all the times you brought me to my knees
Let's talk along the way, who's given in?
We'll make it through this, and yet be friends
There's something about this thing that we've lost sight
How we all did get along, I think we might
