Our Research
We invite you to learn about the AKC Canine Health Foundation's research grants. Our research portfolio is a tangible representation of our mission to advance the health of all dogs and their owners. We accomplish this by awarding scientifically sound and rigorous research grants to top investigators across all disciplines of canine health. In addition to scientific merit, we award grants in areas that matter most to you and your dog by listening to our donors about their health concerns and conduction annual health polls among our donor organizations.

Help Future Generations of Dogs
Participate in canine health research by providing samples or by enrolling in a clinical trial. Samples are needed from healthy dogs and dogs affected by specific diseases.
