Kenzi: “Um, Bo Bo, are we like fae horse whispering right now?”

“Let Them Burn” is the March 12 episode of “Lost Girl.” Warning: this article does contain spoilers. The series finale of “Lost Girl” airs next Monday night at 9 p.m. CT on Syfy.

Well, it turns out that Bo is the Pyrippus. This is strange but interesting. Like Kenzi said, it’s hard to fully make sense of it all, but it does explain Jack’s obsession with Bo and with having a child. The Pyrippus is essential to Jack’s plans. It seems like instead of blowing fire, Bo just group chi sucks. Fire is a little bit cooler.

Bo decided to go Jack and pretend to be on his side. Okay, that seems like a decent game plan. What doesn’t quite make sense is that this means that Bo willingly put all of her friends in grave danger. Let’s hold out hope that Bo left them some escape hatch or something because otherwise Bo just decide that killing all of her friends was an acceptable loss if it meant defeating Hades.

That does not sound like the Bo we know and love. It’s doubtful that the majority of the main cast dies in the penultimate episode, so let’s just think happy thoughts. How do you think the gang will escape from the clubhouse? Also, rest in peace clubhouse. You will be missed.

Dyson’s drama with Mark felt forced. It was awkward and overdramatic. You mean to tell me that after all these years working alongside Bo, Dyson is still stuck in the light versus dark ways? It didn’t feel like a realistic characterization, and it also made Dyson look like a grade A jerk.

We are definitely gearing towards a time when there isn’t animosity between the light and dark. It’s about damn time too. Many seasons ago, Bo was fighting to achieve this peace, but it’s been something that has been pushed aside, so it’s great to have this issue return.

No one asked to watch a very pregnant Tamsin being held captive and violated by having her wings clipped. This just went too far. While Rachel Skarsten was absolutely phenomenal as a broken and vulnerable Tamsin, one shot of her in the cage to get the Aife parallels would have been enough.

What did you think of the penultimate episode? Any theories on how the finale will go down? Leave your thoughts in a comment below.
