Just in time for Easter, one of Christianity's holiest sites has been restored to its former glory. The tomb that Christians believe was where Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected — officially known as the Holy Edicule — has undergone a year-long renovation. Gone is the cage-like structure that was put in place to prop up the walls 70 years ago. And the black soot that had accumulated on the stone structure from years of visitors' candles has been scrubbed clean. Now the warm red marble welcomes worshippers. The holy site sits inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem — one of the world's oldest churches. The shrine was in desperate need of attention after years of exposure to water, humidity and both candle smoke and wax. The total cost for the renovation was $3.7 million.

Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg have unveiled the 2012 DTM AMG Mercedes C-Coupe in Frankfurt.
Designed to battle the Audi A5 and BMW M3 DTM, the C-Coupe has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a high-strength steel roll cage and six energy-absorbing crumple zones. Additional information is limited, but the car will be built by HWA and feature paddle shifters and new Hankook tires.
In a statement, Schumacher commented "The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz DTM car looks fantastic, but what I find even more impressive than the car's visual appearance is the new safety concept with its innovative safety cell and more advanced carbon-fiber crash structures. This safety standard is exemplary and constitutes, in my opinion, the benchmark for touring car racing."
The new car is the successor to the AMG Mercedes C-Class, which is the most successful vehicle in the 27-year history of the DTM with 84 victories from 156 races.

The seven metre-long female known as Deep Blue stunned the world last year when video was unveiled of it dwarfing cage divers off the coast of Guadalupe Island, Mexico. Now, diving enthusiast Michael Maier, 48, has released even more eye-catching clips of the giant female feeding on bait and inquisitively circling divers. Deep Blue, who is estimated to be at least 50 years old, was filmed by Michael in November 2013 - but these latest files were previously unseen.

Luke Cage
Luke Cage (born Carl Lucas and also called Power Man) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Archie Goodwin and John Romita, Sr., he first appeared in Luke Cage, Hero for Hire #1 (June 1972). Imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, he gains superpowers in the form of unbreakable skin and superhuman strength. The character frequently teams up with fellow superhero Iron Fist, and is married to Jessica Jones, with whom he has a daughter. In 2005, writer Brian Michael Bendis added Luke Cage to the lineup of the New Avengers, and he has appeared in various Avengers titles since.
Actor Mike Colter plays the character in Jessica Jones, a live-action television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and will headline in his own series, which will premiere in 2016.
Publication history
Luke Cage was created by Archie Goodwin and John Romita, Sr. shortly after Blaxploitation films emerged as a popular new genre. He debuted in his own series, Luke Cage, Hero for Hire, which was initially written by Goodwin and pencilled by George Tuska. Cage's adventures were set in a grungier, more crime-dominated New York City than that inhabited by other Marvel superheroes of the time. The series was retitled Luke Cage, Power Man with issue #17.

Dodge Challenger
The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations of American automobiles produced by Dodge. The Dodge Silver Challenger was produced from 1958 to 1959. From 1969 to 1974, the first generation Dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler E platform, sharing major components with the Plymouth Barracuda. The second generation, from 1978 to 1983, was a badge engineered Mitsubishi Galant Lambda. The third, and current generation, was introduced in early 2008 as a rival to the evolved fifth generation Ford Mustang and the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro.
Dodge Silver Challenger (1958–1959)
The first car that carried the Challenger name was the introduction of a limited edition Dodge Silver Challenger Club Sedan to the 1959 full-sized Dodge Coronet (fourth generation) model line.
The Silver Challenger came only in silver paint and exclusively on Chrysler's 217.4 in (5,520 mm) long two-door body style riding on a 122.0 in (3,100 mm) wheelbase. It was available with either the 230 cu in (3.8 L) "Getaway" L-head straight-six engine for $2,297, or powered by the 325 cu in (5.3 L) "Red Ram" V8 for $2,408. This car was marketed for the spring selling season to the "new-car buyers who've been waiting to get the most for the least." A column-shifted three-speed manual transmission was standard and an automatic was optional.

The tomb that Christians believe was where Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected — officially known as the Holy Edicule — has undergone a year-long renovation. Gone is the cage-like structure that was put in place to prop up the walls 70 years ago. And the black soot that had accumulated on the stone structure from years of visitors' candles has been scrubbed clean. Now the warm red marble welcomes worshippers. Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg have unveiled the 2012 DTM AMG Mercedes C-Coupe in Frankfurt. Designed to battle the Audi A5 and BMW M3 DTM, the C-Coupe has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a high-strength steel roll cage and six energy-absorbing crumple zones. Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg have unveiled the 2012 DTM AMG Mercedes C-Coupe in Frankfurt.
Designed to battle the Audi A5 and BMW M3 DTM, the C-Coupe has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a high-strength steel roll cage and six energy-absorbing crumple zones. Additional information is limited, but the car will be built by HWA and feature paddle shifters and new Hankook tires.
In a statement, Schumacher commented "The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz DTM car looks fantastic, but what I find even more impressive than the car's visual appearance is the new safety concept with its innovative safety cell and more advanced carbon-fiber crash structures. This safety standard is exemplary and constitutes, in my opinion, the benchmark for touring car racing."
The new car is the successor to the AMG Mercedes C-Class, which is the most successful vehicle in the 27-year history of the DTM with 84 victories from 156 races.

Now, diving enthusiast Michael Maier, 48, has released even more eye-catching clips of the giant female feeding on bait and inquisitively circling divers. Deep Blue, who is estimated to be at least 50 years old, was filmed by Michael in November 2013 - but these latest files were previously unseen.

Designed to battle the Audi A5 and BMW M3 DTM, the C-Coupe has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a high-strength steel roll cage and six energy-absorbing crumple zones. Additional information is limited, but the car will be built by HWA and feature paddle shifters and new Hankook tires.
In a statement, Schumacher commented "The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz DTM car looks fantastic, but what I find even more impressive than the car's visual appearance is the new safety concept with its innovative safety cell and more advanced carbon-fiber crash structures. This safety standard is exemplary and constitutes, in my opinion, the benchmark for touring car racing."
The new car is the successor to the AMG Mercedes C-Class, which is the most successful vehicle in the 27-year history of the DTM with 84 victories from 156 races.

A diver has filmed what experts believe is the biggest great white shark ever caught on camera - and she's HUGE.
The seven metre-long female, known as Deep Blue, stunned the world last year a video was unveiled showing her dwarfing cage divers.

Now, diving enthusiast Michael Maier, 48, has released even more eye-catching clips of the giant female feeding on bait and inquisitively circling divers.

How did prehistoric builders without sophisticated tools or engineering knowledge construct Stonehenge? The question has baffled scholars and intrigued visitors to the famous site for centuries. Recently, researchers have introduced two new theories, adding to a long list of possible answers to one of history’s greatest riddles.
For centuries, historians and archaeologists have puzzled over the many mysteries of Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument that Neolithic builders toiled over for an estimated 1,500 years. While many modern scholars now agree that it served as a sacred burial ground, they have yet to explain how a civilization without modern technology—or even the wheel—produced the mighty circle of upright megalithic stones. Stonehenge’s outer ring consists of sarsen sandstone slabs that hail from local quarries, but its inner ring is made up of smaller rocks called bluestones that scientists have traced to the Preseli Hills in Wales, some 200 miles from where Stonehenge sits on England’s Salisbury Plain. How did the workers who broke ground on Stonehenge as early as 5,000 years ago transport these 4-ton boulders over such a great distance?
Wicker Baskets
In November 2010, the engineer and former BBC presenter Garry Lavin unveiled a new hypothesis, suggesting that the builders used basket-like wicker cages to transport Stonehenge’s massive bluestones. To demonstrate his concept, he created a prototypical cradle made from willow and alder saplings. Lavin believes that groups of four or five men used similar contraptions to roll the stones over long distances, perhaps with the help of oxen. When they reached rivers, the giant baskets became flotation devices that the movers could guide downstream.
Lavin’s theory is supported by archaeological evidence that people were already weaving baskets and other structures back when Stonehenge was created. So far, though, he’s only managed to test his prototype on a 1-ton slab—a fraction of the bluestones’ size. Further experiments with supersized baskets and 5-ton rocks may show how much water the basket hypothesis really holds.

The story begins when Kim tweeted out, quite succinctly, that "the pope is dope!"
Unfortunately, a reporter at Argentine entertainment website Primicias Ya thought Ms Kardashian meant the OTHER meaning of "dope," and promptly published a story with the headline, "Did Kim Kardashian attack the pope?" A lengthy defense of Argentina's favorite son then followed.
Fortunately, the internet being what it is, kind-natured commentators politely identified the mistake and let the website know of that a correction would be necessary. Which was nice...
In the meantime, Kim's tweet about the pope has been retweeted more than 12,000 times.
Meanwhile, the world continued to lurch from one ridiculous story to another:
* A team participating in Australia's largest hackathon connected a GoPro camera to an Oculus Rift headset so Internet users can "play a human in 3rd person."
* Fast food chain McDonald's announced customers in Sweden are being given the option of making reservations at waited tables to promote a new burger.
* Students from the Estonian Academy of Arts installed a trio of giant wooden megaphones in a forest area to amplify the sounds of nature.
* Scientists at a German institute unveiled their CableRobot simulator, a giant caged platform that moves on cables to simulate motion for virtual reality.
* British police apologized to neighbors of a school after officers set off sirens to settle a student debate about whether they went "woo-woo" or "nee-nah."

In his happening „The Way of the Cross" on 7th June 2014 at Landstejn castle, the sculptor, painter and performer Lubo Kristek lead the audience on a time-compressed journey from the Middle Ages across the current times towards the future. As if he wanted to express that "forward" means to return "something" back.
After the collapse of humankind, the spectator ascended to the vision of timelessness to witness the unveiling of Kristek's cycle of thirteen paintings carrying the same title as the happening. The thirteenth painting, called „Sublimation of Gold", which is Kristek's contribution to the theme of the way of the cross, was unveiled by a pregnant angel extricated from a heap of bodies and crosses by the Innocence from the Cosmic Unconsciousness.
The angel reveals her secret -- a golden cage with a pigeon, which symbolizes the soul of a tortured civilizational clown. At the same moment as the angel releases his soul into the light of eternity, the clown's life trickles away.
The entrance to Lubo Kristek's happenings is always free.
Sochař, malíř a performer Lubo Kristek ve svém happeningu „Křížová cesta" 7. 6. 2014 na hradě Landštejně provedl diváky zhuštěně časem ze středověku přes současnost k budoucnosti. Jako kdyby chtěl vyjádřit, že vpřed znamená „něco" vrátit nazpět.
Po kolapsu lidstva divák vystoupal do vize bezčasí, kde byl odhalen Kristkův cyklus třinácti obrazů, nazvaných stejně jako titul happeningu. Třináctý obraz, který je Kristkovým přispěním k tematice křížové cesty, nese název „Sublimace zlata". Ten odhalil až gravidní anděl, jehož z hromady těl a křížů vyprostila Nevinnost z Kosmického nevědomí.
Anděl zjeví své tajemství -- zlatou klícku s holubem, symbolizujícím duši zmučeného civilizačního šaška. V okamžiku, kdy pouští duši do světla věčnosti, šaškův život vyhasíná.
