Last Night is a 1998 Canadian black comedy-drama film directed by Don McKellar. It was filmed in Toronto.
Set in Toronto at an unknown date, Last Night tells the story of how a variety of intersecting characters spend their final evening on Earth. It seems the world is to end at midnight as the result of a calamity that is not explained, but which has been expected for several months. There are several scenes of an ominously glowing sun, which gets progressively larger and brighter even into the night.
Some people in the film choose to spend their last evening alone, others with loved ones, others in prayer, others in public mayhem, and still others at raucous festivities. Duncan (David Cronenberg), the owner of a power company, spends the majority of his final day calling up every single one of his customers to reassure them that their heating gas will be kept on until the very end. Meanwhile, his wife Sandra (Sandra Oh) prepares to fulfill their suicide pact when she becomes stranded with a depressed widower Patrick (Don McKellar) preparing to die while listening to music and drinking wine on his roof, surrounded by mementoes of his recently deceased wife. The widower's best friend Craig (Callum Keith Rennie) participates in a nearly non-stop sex marathon as he attempts to fulfill every fantasy he has ever had, at one point awkwardly asking Patrick to join him. Sarah Polley appears as Patrick's sister Jennifer; their family chooses to have a final meal together although he leaves prematurely to seek his own finale. Jackie Burroughs makes an appearance as an apparently mentally disturbed woman who jogs around announcing how much time is left before the end. Arsinée Khanjian also appears as a mother on an abandoned streetcar who is paralyzed by despair.
Last Night is the eighth album by American electronica musician Moby, released in March 2008 by record label Mute. It is a more dance-oriented affair than Moby's previous few albums.
The album was recorded in Moby's home studio in Manhattan, New York and features a number of guest vocalists, including Wendy Starland, MC Grandmaster Caz (one of the writers of "Rapper's Delight", which boosted the popularity of sampling, a common method to make the music on Moby's 1999 blockbuster Play), Sylvia from the band Kudu, British MC Aynzli, and the Nigerian 419 Squad.
On his official website, Moby stated that this album is "a lot more dance-oriented and electronic than my last few albums, probably as a result of all of the DJ'ing I've been doing lately". He also wrote that:
"Disco Lies" was released as a single on January 21, 2008. The second single, "Alice", was released on March 10.
Last Night was released on March 29 by record label Mute.
"Last Night" is a song by American rapper Diddy that is a single featured on his fourth studio album, Press Play. The song features American R&B singer-songwriter Keyshia Cole. The radio edit version of the song is featured on Cole's second studio album, Just like You.
Part of the recording session was shown on Cole's reality show, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, on BET in July 2006. The making of the video was shown on BET's "Access Granted" on January 31, 2007.
The song has an '80s-styled beat. The song samples the drumbeat of Prince's "Erotic City", but slightly modified to increase the bass. During BET's Access Granted, Diddy brought up the fact that Keyshia re-recorded her parts multiple times, and the two had many artistic differences on the song. The recording of the song was featured on Keyshia Cole's reality show The Way It Is. On the album version of the song, Diddy is heard talking on the phone using a lot of explicit words at the end. The radio version of the song fades out before the phone dials, while the clean album version of the song still has this part only with the explicit words censored out.
About Last Night (styled as About Last Night...) is a 1986 American romantic comedy-drama film directed by Edward Zwick, and starring Rob Lowe and Demi Moore as Chicago yuppies who enter a committed relationship for the first time. The screenplay by Tim Kazurinsky and Denise DeClue is based on the 1974 David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago. The film was remade as the 2014 About Last Night (without the ellipsis).
Danny and Bernie are two single men who live in Chicago. When Danny meets Debbie at Mother Malone's ("Mother's"), a bar in the Chicago Gold Coast, the two start a relationship from a one-night stand. The film follows the couple for the first year of their relationship: their meeting after a softball game, her moving in with him, mutual friction at Thanksgiving, their breakup on New Year's Eve, his apology and declaration of love on St. Patrick's Day, and their reconciliation at a softball game.
About Last Night is an EP by New Buffalo, released on 10 September 2001.
About Last Night is a 2014 American romantic comedy film starring Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, and Joy Bryant. Directed by Steve Pink, the film is based on the 1974 David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago and is a remake of the 1986 film of the same name. The remake is set in Los Angeles, California where the original film was set in Chicago, Illinois. Filming took place in late 2012 in Los Angeles. The film was produced on a budget of $12.5 million.
The film premiered at the Pan African Film Festival on February 11, 2014. It was released in theaters on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2014. The majority of critics gave positive reviews, and most critics commended the humor between Hart and Hall. The film grossed $25.6 million on the opening weekend, ranking second after The Lego Movie, which was in its second weekend. About Last Night grossed $48.6 million in the United States and Canada and under $0.4 million in other territories for a worldwide total of $49 million.

Last night my future baby mama left me,
So bring me a bottle of rum and buy me a bag of sensi,
Me a mash up the dance, mash up the dance scene,
Me a mash up the dance, mash up the dance scene.
Back track two days see,
She went crazy,
Oh my days,
She calling me lazy,
Still no ring, no place to stay and no baby,
Maybe baby we can talk about these things another day
I try to say
She wouldn't listen to me,
Instead she turned me away.
Fast forward to today,
Going out with my mates,
Penetrate the school faces at the gates,
At the place where I play
we're to much just to rave,
Gotta forget the other day
Gimme little drink and I'm a mash up the place.
(Chorus)
Single life,
Saturday Night,
Getting high.
Last night my future baby mama left me,
So bring me a bottle of rum and buy me a bag of sensi,
Me a mash up the dance, mash up the dance scene,
Me a mash up the dance, mash up the dance scene.
scap rap sing along,
no back chatting
A long thing
Robin Hood bathing
I come to save the dance,
I come to save the dance with my drunken dancing
Wheel up come again, come a roots a shocking,
Wheel up come again, ain't no stopping me shocking
Now I'm talking lazy,
Vision hazy,
Whoopse daisy,
Watch your feet darling,
What's ya name
What ya drinking?
Barman...alazazy
(Chorus)
Single life,
Saturday Night,
Getting high.
Last night my future baby mama left me,
So bring me a bottle of rum and buy me a bag of sensi,
Me a mash up the dance, mash up the dance scene,
Me a mash up the dance, mash up the dance scene.
