The Cryolophosaurus (dinosaur) has a shorter snout than the Tyrannosaurus and a uniquely lateral crest between the small horns over the eyes--earning it the nickname "Elvisaurus"--and loves cool weather: the first
Cryolophosaurus ellioti bones were found in
Antarctica in
1991, a place barely warmer than Mars is today when the Jurassic dinosaur lived there 190 million years ago. This corpse is missing its hind legs, that had been cut off by knife on hexagonal incision lines (and eaten), its left wrist is knotted to a stake, its heart was spiked by the shoulder, and the wheel-form impressed on its crest is branding--by 'humans' obviously; And within days
Mars atmosphere collapsed abruptly freezing it in a prompt global extinction scale event--probably also by humans: probably to prevent anyone left from following them to
Earth... (a snake got caught sniffing for a last vestige of warmth at its rotting mouth in the sudden deep-freeze)...

Not—an apparition, semblance, chimera, shadow, discoloration, alignment of stones, lens reflections, prelaunch assembly-room burn-in, residual manufacturing chemical preimage, nor 2D pixel-quantum-artifacts; Just 3D-real pieces of Martian human history.
And in scientific note to a captious scholar and other
Ph'D'd'D'ies:
Current solar system astronomy and, astrobiology, recognize that planet Mars likely formed on the edge of the snowline/frostline/ice line--that coldish toroidal zone in the early solar nebula, where ice and vapor were at significant equilibrium, and, dirt-rock was less available--and so attained only sub-mini-gas-planet status with an atmosphere lasting billions of years until geologically recently, (a sub-mini-gas-planet is an order-of-magnitude smaller than mini, gas-planet, 'mini-Neptune', and such that its atmosphere does not outlast its sun)
... 'More science, more funding...'
And in inferentiation on its prehistoric last thousands or millions of years, As Mars remnant atmosphere turned cooler and vegetation receded and boondocks-mankind stayed indoors and propagated, turning cannibalistic to feed itself, the royal family of Mars created man-eating monsters to guard its æonic government archives and reencourage mankind tribes to ban together and work for survival: It'd take 2-3 tribes to bring down a Cryolophosaurus--and the hind legs might supply them 2 weeks of meat; This 9 ft. juvenile having strayed from guarding a deserted royal elysium was captured and detained as noisy bait to draw its mother, and both were eaten--days before the last, day...
(
N.B. Additional evidences confirm Mars cold in that era, ergo, the name attribution, cryo+lopho+saur, is correct even if not formally publishable for peer review and approval on one picture.)

P.S. Dinosaur legs were a delicacy—
Don't Knock The Evidence...
(Suggesting it tasted like ostrich crossed with great white shark...)
For paleontologists chiming "the more we know the less we know"
this riming dinosaur is monikered as—'the cry-or-laugh-o'saurus...'
