Wee Willie Harris - Rocking Chair on the Moon
Wee Willie Harris - Rocking Chair on the Moon
This is a recent recording of the great rocker from the early 50's Wee Willie Harris. He's still out there rocking away and doing gigs. He recorded this song along with many others at Syston Shack for Butterfly Records. All his CD's are available from Willie or from me.

WEE WILLIE HARRIS - 'Rockin' At The Two 'I's' - 1957 78rpm
Wee Willie Harris was the bridge between music hall and rock n roll. When he burst out of London's Soho 2 I's (as in 'two eyes') coffee bar, journalists couldnt wait to write about his sputnik red hair and his bizarre stage act. Said one, "He gyrates like an exploding Catherine wheel, emitting growls, squeals and what sounds like severe hiccupping". (gosh!)

Wee Willie Harris - No Chemise. Please ! (1958)
British rock 'n' roller Wee Willie Harris. Famed for his wild coloured hair. Apparently John Lennon and Paul McCartney both queued for his autograph when he played Liverpool in 1958. The other side 'Got A Match' is also cool.
