Crush is the sixth album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, released in 1985. It was the first of two OMD albums produced by Stephen Hague, who had previously produced albums by Jules and the Polar Bears, Slow Children, Elliot Easton, Gleaming Spires and others.

"So in Love" (co-written with Hague) became the group's first hit single in the US. The album also sold well in the US. Aimed primarily at the US market, it is notable for moving the band's sound in a far more commercial direction, although elements of earlier experimentation are still evident on the title track, which is built around a tape loop of samples from Japanese television commercials, and the closing track "The Lights Are Going Out". A long-form video, Crush - The Movie was also released, showing the group talking about their career and performing the songs from the album.

In a 2013 online poll, Crush was voted the 23rd best album of 1985 based on the opinions of over 45,000 respondents.

Cyclophora annularia

The Mocha (Cyclophora annularia) is a moth of the Geometridae family. The species can be found in Europe. Their wingspan is 18 millimetres (0.71 in) to 22 millimetres (0.87 in). Adults are on wing from May to August depending on the location. The larvae feed on Maple tree leaves.

Mocha (decompiler)

Mocha is a Java decompiler, which allows programmers to translate a program's bytecode into source code.

A beta version of Mocha was released in 1996, by Dutch developer Hanpeter van Vliet, alongside an obfuscator named Crema. A controversy erupted and he temporarily withdrew Mocha from public distribution. As of 2009 the program is still available for distribution, and may be used freely as long as it is not modified. Borland's JBuilder includes a decompiler based on Mocha. Van Vliet's websites went offline as he died of cancer on December 31, 1996 at the age of 34.

Mocha or Mokha (Arabic: المخا‎ al-Mukhā  Yemeni pronunciation: [elˈmoχæ]) is a port city on the Red Sea coast of Yemen. Until Aden and Hodeida eclipsed it in the 19th century, Mocha was the principal port for Yemen's capital Sana'a.

Overview

Mocha is famous for being the major marketplace for coffee from the 15th century until the early 18th century. Even after other sources of coffee were found, Mocha beans (also called Sanani or Mocha Sanani beans, meaning from Sana'a) continued to be prized for their distinctive flavor—and remain so even today.

According to the Portuguese Jesuit missionary Jerónimo Lobo, who sailed the Red Sea in 1625, Mocha was "formerly of limited reputation and trade" but since "the Turkish assumption of power throughout Arabia, it has become the major city of the territory under Turkish domination, even though it is not the Pasha's place of residence, which is two days' journey inland in the city of Sana'a." Lobo adds that its importance as a port was also due to the Ottoman law that required all ships entering the Red Sea to put in at Mocha and pay duty on their cargoes.
