About Varendorff Landscapes
Principal designer and project manager Paul Varendorff has been transforming homes and gardens for over 35 years.
The quality of his workmanship is without comparison. Now back in the Byron Bay area of NSW, with design studio near Lismore, Paul is listed on the state-wide local councils ’Approved Landscapers List’. More importantly he has a long list of satisfied clients. Please be aware that each landscape project is unique and so it is not possible to give an ‘off-the-cuff’ quote. However, prices have been given on some of the projects displayed on our website.

DESIGN
Professional and personalised design gives you more than just a beautiful landscape. Scale drawings and detailed construction plans provide peace of mind so you know that everything will fit before you start.
In designing or re-designing your outdoor spaces Paul consults closely with his clients to understand their desires and intentions.
During a site visit Paul will assess the visual impact possibilities, aspect, movement of light and shadow across the landscape, existing contours and structures.
Back at the studio Paul will spend time at the drawing board, and using photographs and measurements taken at the site visit, will draw up a scaled Plan, along with sketches and plant suggestions. This initial concept design can be discussed and changes can be made at this stage, after which the final Design will be drawn up.

Due to the varying environmental conditions from shire to shire, each council has specific regulations regarding the abovenamed elements. Now back in Byron Bay Shire, and soon with design studio at Main Arm, Paul has a long history of favourable relations with councils from the far North Coast to Sydney, while managing to get the best outcomes for his clients.
