Caroline Dawes Gardens offers a complete service of design, horticultural advice and garden construction. Follow up visits by Caroline are offered and if help with garden maintenance is required, Caroline can recommend experienced, professional gardeners who take the effort out of keeping your new garden in pristine condition.

Through a collaborative approach via a series of consultations and a thorough site analysis, the design evolves through site survey, to a concept and then to the detailed final design and documentation. When garden construction is required, these documents can then be tendered out to a choice of highly recommended, customer focussed contractors.

Caroline has a wealth of horticultural & botanical expertise and personally oversees the sourcing of the highest quality plants available to achieve the best possible results.

Caroline’s gardens are all unique, as each garden must suit your home, the site and your individual desires & needs. However, one thing remains constant and that is that each garden must be functional and provide ongoing pleasure. Clients must feel comfortable in their garden and enjoy it from many perspectives and through all the seasons.

Caroline designs her gardens using a structured process and the end result is arrived at through a collaborative approach with you. Your new garden must include as many functions as possible in a way that is in sync with you and the environment.

Caroline is adept at addressing the issues and practicalities of creating gardens, both large and small and her creativity ensures that the individual character and tranquillity of each garden is revealed.

Biography

Caroline Dawes is passionate about gardens and has been involved with them on many levels for over 20 years. She established Caroline Dawes Gardens in 2001.

Caroline is highly committed to great design and horticultural excellence and her desire to exceed client expectations has seen her business thrive on primarily word of mouth referrals. She has been involved in the creation of over 50 beautiful, functional gardens that are timeless.

Caroline holds formal qualifications in horticulture and landscape design. Her home garden is used as a display for clients who can view first hand her irrigation, soil management and plant choice success. The majority of plants used in her designs she is either currently growing in her garden or has grown in the past, ensuring her clients benefit from hands on horticultural advice.

Caroline’s home garden is part of the Open Garden Scheme and local and interstate Garden Tours, such as Sandra & Graham Ross Garden Tours, visit regularly.
