Fabian Nicieza's first work for Marvel was Psi-Force #9. On the Marvel staff, he worked on a variety of books and characters before being tapped by EIC Tom DeFalco to develop the New Warriors in their own book in 1990. Nicieza worked on the final few issues of New Mutants in 1991 and developed a spin off series, X-Force with Rob Liefeld. He co- created Shatterstar and Deadpool and eventually went on to be the series' full writer. During the early '90s he was a driving force for X-characters such as X-men, Cable, and Deadpool: The Circle Chase, developing characters that he would later bring together in Cable and Deadpool. Nicieza played an important role in the development of the X-Men as he was writing during landmark story arcs such as Age of Apocalypse, Phalanx Covenant, and X-Cutioner's Song. In 1992 Nicieza was made editor of Marvel's imprint for children, Star Comics for a short time, before leaving Marvel's staff to freelance. In 1996 he became editor in chief of Acclaim Comics, and eventually was promoted to president and publisher. When Acclaim Comics made major staff cuts in 1999, Nicieza returned to freelance work and Marvel taking over Thunderbolts from Busiek, writing a Gambit ongoing, and returning to X-Men, Cable and Deadpool amongst other books. In 2006, Nicieza returned to DC and worked on one title, Red Robin. Outside of the comic book field, Nicieza is the head writer for Starlight Runner Entertainment, an intellectual property management company that works with the properties of corporations such as Mattel, Coca-Cola, Disney, Hasbro, Sony and Microsoft. He's edited or developed content for Hot Wheels, Pirates of the Caribbean, Halo, Avatar, Happiness Factory, Tron, Transformers, Men in Black, Barbie, Ren & Stimpy, William Shatner’s TEKWorld, Power Rangers, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

With a week left before the first superhero film of 2016 opens, we’ve got a cubic ton of Deadpool viral marketing and pre-movie mayhem to enjoy! From the Breast Cancer Exam commercial to Ryan Reynolds cracking us up on the Graham Norton show from across the pond, now we’ve got Deadpool giving away Chimichangas at the Superbowl, with a new special trailer to debut, and all of us will be seeing the film in IMAX this week! Let’s talk Deadpool!
How funny do we want “Thor:Ragnarok”!
So after the news of Director Taika Waititi of the comedy series “Flight of the Concords” and the comedic mockumentary “What we do in the Shadows” sank in, I understood that because the script was reportedly so heavy and dark, that they wanted someone with a lighter touch to direct the film, and add some moments of humor to the film. Here is a quote from Taika “whether or not the Hulk should be verbal/conscious, I think those conversations have more to do with what’s going to come in future movies, so I think those are larger group decisions”. He also stated he wants to be able to add his brand of humor when it needs it. How funny do we want the Hulk and Thor to be?
Legends of Tomorrow Guests! Flash meets Supergirl! DC TV explosion!
Legends of tomorrow has time-jumping and features Constantine, Jonah Hex, Hourman, Red Tornado, and a much older Green Arrow from a future multiverse who is missing an arm (dark knight returns!), while the Flash has ripped into the Multiverse, and her comes a “Crisis from infinite earths” storyline to feature the crossover between Flash and Supergirl?! Let’s talk about this!

Fabian Nicieza (born Buenos Aires, Argentina, December 31, 1961) is an American comic book writer and editor who is best known for his work on Marvel titles such as X-Men, X-Force, New Warriors, Cable and Deadpool, and Thunderbolts, for all of which he helped create numerous characters.
The son of Omar and Irma Riguetti Nicieza, Fabian Nicieza was three years old when his family moved to the United States. Growing up in New Jersey, Nicieza learned to read and write from comic books. He studied at Rutgers University, interning at the ABC television network before graduating in 1983 with a degree in advertising and public relations.[citation needed] His brother is Mariano Nicieza, also a comic book writer and editor.
Until 1985, Nicieza worked for the Berkley Publishing Group, starting in the production department and becoming a managing editor.[citation needed]
In 1985, Nicieza joined the staff at Marvel Comics, initially as a manufacturing assistant, later moving to the advertising department as a manager.[citation needed] During this period he began to take his first freelance work for Marvel, writing short articles for Marvel’s promotional magazine Marvel Age.

Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian film and television actor. Reynolds is known for playing the role of Michael Bergen on ABC's sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (1998–2001), Wade Wilson / Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Hal Jordan / Green Lantern in Green Lantern. He has also appeared in films such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Just Friends, Definitely, Maybe, The Proposal, The Change-Up, and Safe House.
Reynolds was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. His father, Jim, is a food wholesaler, and his mother, Tammy, is a retail salesperson. He is of Irish ancestry and was raised as a Roman Catholic. The youngest of four brothers, he graduated from Kitsilano Secondary School in Vancouver in 1994. He later attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, also in Vancouver, until dropping out.
Reynolds' career began in 1990 when he starred as "Billy" in the Canadian-produced teen soap Hillside, distributed in the United States by Nickelodeon as Fifteen. As an adult, Reynolds starred in the National Lampoon movie Van Wilder and the American television series Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place, playing medical student Michael "Berg" Bergen. In 1993-94 he had a recurring role in The Odyssey as Macro. He also cameoed in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle as a nurse, appeared in The In-Laws with Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks, as well as the Canadian production Foolproof.

Deadpool Creator Fabian Nicieza Excited For Upcoming Movie
Fabian Nicieza's first work for Marvel was Psi-Force #9. On the Marvel staff, he worked on a variety of books and characters before being tapped by EIC Tom DeFalco to develop the New Warriors in their own book in 1990. Nicieza worked on the final few issues of New Mutants in 1991 and developed a spin off series, X-Force with Rob Liefeld. He co- created Shatterstar and Deadpool and eventually went on to be the series' full writer. During the early '90s he was a driving force for X-characters such as X-men, Cable, and Deadpool: The Circle Chase, developing characters that he would later bring together in Cable and Deadpool. The Amazing Deadpool
Deadpool (real name Wade Winston Wilson) is a fictional antihero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in The New Mutants #98 cover-dated (Feb. 1991). Deadpool was depicted as a supervillain when he made his first appearance in The New Mutants and later in issues of X-Force, but has since evolved into the role of an antihero. Deadpool is a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary with the superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor. He is known as the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his talkative nature and tendency to break the fourth wall, which is used by writers to create humorous effect. In 1992 Nicieza was made editor of Marvel's imprint for children, Star Comics for a short time, before leaving Marvel's staff to freelance. When Acclaim Comics made major staff cuts in 1999, Nicieza returned to freelance work and Marvel taking over Thunderbolts from Busiek, writing a Gambit ongoing, and returning to X-Men, Cable and Deadpool amongst other books. In 2006, Nicieza returned to DC and worked on one title, Red Robin. Outside of the comic book field, Nicieza is the head writer for Starlight Runner Entertainment, an intellectual property management company that works with the properties of corporations such as Mattel, Coca-Cola, Disney, Hasbro, Sony and Microsoft. He's edited or developed content for Hot Wheels, Pirates of the Caribbean, Halo, Avatar, Happiness Factory, Tron, Transformers, Men in Black, Barbie, Ren & Stimpy, William Shatner’s TEKWorld, Power Rangers, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

With a week left before the first superhero film of 2016 opens, we’ve got a cubic ton of Deadpool viral marketing and pre-movie mayhem to enjoy! From the Breast Cancer Exam commercial to Ryan Reynolds cracking us up on the Graham Norton show from across the pond, now we’ve got Deadpool giving away Chimichangas at the Superbowl, with a new special trailer to debut, and all of us will be seeing the film in IMAX this week! Let’s talk Deadpool!
How funny do we want “Thor:Ragnarok”!
So after the news of Director Taika Waititi of the comedy series “Flight of the Concords” and the comedic mockumentary “What we do in the Shadows” sank in, I understood that because the script was reportedly so heavy and dark, that they wanted someone with a lighter touch to direct the film, and add some moments of humor to the film. Here is a quote from Taika “whether or not the Hulk should be verbal/conscious, I think those conversations have more to do with what’s going to come in future movies, so I think those are larger group decisions”. He also stated he wants to be able to add his brand of humor when it needs it. How funny do we want the Hulk and Thor to be?
Legends of Tomorrow Guests! Flash meets Supergirl! DC TV explosion!
Legends of tomorrow has time-jumping and features Constantine, Jonah Hex, Hourman, Red Tornado, and a much older Green Arrow from a future multiverse who is missing an arm (dark knight returns!), while the Flash has ripped into the Multiverse, and her comes a “Crisis from infinite earths” storyline to feature the crossover between Flash and Supergirl?! Let’s talk about this!

Il fallait bien que l'on parle de Deadpool dont l'adaptation cinématographique sort aujourd'hui en France. Il s'agit d'un héros relativement jeune, né en 1991 dans les pages de The New Mutants #98 sous la plume de Fabian Nicieza et le crayon de Rob Liefeld, ce dernier a d'ailleurs déclenché un beau désordre à l'occasion d'une interview donnée au New-York Times au sein de laquelle il diminue le rôle jouée par son collègue scénariste dans la création du personnage de Deadpool !
"Si un concierge avait écrit le scénario de The New Mutants #98, alors il serait le co-créateur de Deadpool, eh ouais c'est comme ça que ça marche mon pote !"
Il continue :
"Deadpool n'existerait pas sans moi, sous aucune forme. J'ai choisi Nicieza et j'ai été comme son ticket de loto gagnant, ça a été un bon parti pour lui"
Après la cohue déclenchée par ses propos, Liefeld est revenu sur l'interview, disant que beaucoup de propos avaient été cités hors-contexte, et précisant que tout allait bien entre lesdeux co-créateurs de Deadpool, chose que Nicieza a également tweeté, précisant que les deux papas du mercenaire déjanté souhaitaient simplement que vous alliez voir le film au cinéma...
Au final ça doit bien évidemment se résumer à ça ouais...

- Tom Hodges lance sa propre maison d'édition : Antiis Comics !
Il s'agit là d'un projet très excitant pour tous ceux qui chercheraient une alternative à Marvel et DC Comics, un tout nouvel éditeur, tout frais, tout beau, sans aucune continuité : Antiis Comics ! Lancé par Tom Hodges (connu pour son travail sur Star Wars) et sa femme, le projet est en cours sur la plate forme de financement participatif Kickstarter.
L'originalité du truc : 1 seule et unique série de comic-book "Antiis Comics Presents" , avec des arc narratifs de 3 numéros présentant chacun un super-héros et une fin en 4 numéros avec un crossover venant cimenter la phase 1 de l'univers Antiis.
Les trois premières parutions seront consacrées à Midknight...

Nick Sousanis a écrit sa thèse doctorale sous forme de roman graphique et a remporté le Prix de la Prose en Sciences-Humaines... Une ironie savoureuse puisque l'objet de sa thèse est justement la façon dont le savoir est dispensé et l'inextricable partenariat que forment la prose et l'image dans la formation du sens.
