Mount Washington is an area of northwest Baltimore, Maryland. It is a designated city historic district and divided into two sections: South Road/Sulgrave to the Southeast and Dixon's Hill to the North.

Description

Historically, Mount Washington was a small area. However, residents and businesses of many other nearby neighborhoods in the 21209 zip code and a small portion of the 21215 zip code (west of Pimlico Road) where the neighborhood is located refer to their location as Mount Washington. Though mostly within the Baltimore city limits, but mixed with some of these areas within Baltimore County as Pikesville.

The Mount Washington neighborhood is served by the Mount Washington Improvement Association (), which, though not speaking on behalf of all the neighborhood's residents, wields significant political clout in Baltimore.

The actual Mount Washington is mostly residential, though it has two small commercial areas:

Mount Washington (Pittsburgh)

Mount Washington is a neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's south city area. It has a zip code of 15211 and has representation on Pittsburgh City Council by both the council members for District 3 (Central South Neighborhoods) and District 2 (West Neighborhoods).

It is known for its steep hill overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline, which was rated the most beautiful vista in America by USA Weekend (and the best urban vista); its funiculars, the Duquesne and Monongahela Inclines, which are the oldest continuous inclines in the world; and for the row of upscale restaurants paralleling the crest of Mount Washington, the hill the community sits upon. The neighborhood is also known as the home of Autumn House Press, one of the leading literary publishers in the United States.

History of Mount Washington

In the early history of Pittsburgh, Mount Washington was known as Coal Hill, but Coal Hill was actually on the south bank of the Monongahela River. Easy access to the Pittsburgh coal seam's outcrop near the base of Mt. Washington allowed several mines to operate there. Also, rock was quarried from the hill. Gray sandstone, for example, was quarried at Coal Hill for the second Allegheny County Courthouse.

Eve is an Asian satellite and cable TV channel which provides documentary, factual-entertainment, lifestyle and reality programming for female audiences.

It is owned and operated by Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, a division of Discovery Communications.

The channel was launched on 1 August 2014 replacing Discovery Home & Health. The channel is available in Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. It is seen as the only Pay TV channel with a focus on non-fiction media. Eve is the second channel of TLC

The Outfoxies (アウトフォクシーズ, Autofokkushīzu) is a fighting arcade game which was released by Namco in 1994; it ran on Namco NB-2 hardware and features several professional hitmen secretly set against each other by a held-in-common client, "Mr. Acme". Acme and his wife had hired each of them to assassinate a wealthy art collector, then arranged for them to kill each other to ultimately avoid having to pay their fee - and it is an early example of arena fighting game which predates the straight-to-console Super Smash Bros. and Jump Super Stars series.

Eve is a fictional character appearing in the fifth season of the television series Angel. She is played by Sarah Thompson.

Biography

Character history

Eve is "liaison to the Senior Partners" of Wolfram & Hart after Angel and his crew takes over the Los Angeles branch of the firm. Never trusted, she comes and goes at her leisure, usually stirring up trouble as she goes. Though she appears human, Eve is actually a Child of the Senior Partners, a being given human form and created to do their bidding.

Though Eve had sex with Angel once at Wolfram & Hart's Halloween party, under Lorne's spell, at some point she met and fell in love with Lindsey McDonald. The two hatched a scheme to slowly but surely demoralize Angel through a variety of means. Eve and Lindsey use a spell to make Angel and his team believe the existence of two vampires with a soul endangers the existence of the universe, then manipulate Spike into becoming a vigilante and reminder of the work Angel used to do. Eve frequently mentions Spike's new status as champion when he is recorporealized, and even puts a parasitic creature on Angel that sends him into a world of illusions, in which Angel has become a loser and Spike the champion.
