On.. My USA Road Trip - Part 3 - Vancouver, BC to Bellingham, WA (and Home)

Since I last saw you I've been to the North-West corner of the U.S. on a working holiday. While I was there I tried to explore and capture a little bit of the culture on my i-phone for you all to see the differences from ours (certainly different from my Indian culture trip) in a kind of Video Diary format. My good friend Dan has edited together all the footage I shot and made a smooth travelogue split into three 1hour chunks. This is part 3. 0:00:00 - 0:25:44 In this part we continue our journey around Vancouver and check out the University Park and the main Downtown area. In the meantime, my wallet is stolen and the next day I have to find a police station to report the theft. All my money and cards are gone, and I am left with a single train ticket which will take me back to Bellingham. Before the long train journey back I have my very first 'whopper' burger, we see street dancers and buskers, and then we say goodbye to Maria and board the train ready to return to the US. The train rolls along very slowly as I reveal this road trip has been marred by difficult situations back home. 0:25:44 - 0:34:23 Back in Bellingham I visit the Laundry, the Library and the Smoke Shop; and purchase a large supply of Dutch Tobacco from a very friendly man called Mike. We revisit the co-op and a few other places before I collect my laundry and move on to another location... 0:34:24 - 0:59:02 And then we come to the most unexpected part. Due to me having my wallet stolen I was forced to spend a few more days in the area, and was asked to perform an ad-hock Plant Sprit Medicine retreat. I wake in the guest house of a lovely out-of-town residence, which boasts a wonderful view, a landscape garden, and a multi level house designed and built by hand. Virginia guides us through some of the rooms in the house, and we see many names etched into the wall, the artworks which line the walls, and even Virginias hand-made sinks! After a wonderful retreat I meet Virginia in town for one last coffee before I step on to the coach which takes me to the airport. And yes, you even see me taking off on the runway! Our journey ends looking down on the clouds from above, and, an impromptu interview. Thanks you all for watching me little trip. NOTES: .
