SUMMARY: When Alpha female Galina Sudenko agreed to attend her distant cousin’s birthday party, she wasn’t counting on meeting the devastatingly handsome and powerful Rom Alpha, Andrey Lupesco, or having her sexy times with him interrupted by the murder of her idiot brother-in-law, Sergei. But such is life when your father is one of the most powerful werewolves within Seattle’s supernatural Russian organized crime syndicate.
Not content with being just a pretty face and good breeding stock, Galina sets out to make her mark within the family. But in doing so, she runs afoul of her eldest brother, Alexei, the heir apparent to the family dynasty. He has no intention of ceding his position without a fight.
Andrey and Galina’s burgeoning romance is threatened when she discovers that before his death, Irina’s husband, Sergei, hijacked Andrey’s shipment of the werewolf drug, Bullet, a synthetic drug that gives the supernatural creatures a cocaine-like high. Sergei’s theft means that Andrey had a reason to have Sergei killed, leaving Galina to decide whether to risk trusting Andrey even as her feelings for him deepen.
As her brother Alexei’s behavior becomes more erratic, Galina must find the missing shipment, prove to her family that she’ll be a capable leader, and decide whether her lover Andrey can be trusted before she can hope to challenge her brother for his position as head of the family.
A tale full of sexy werewolves, forbidden love, family power struggles, and danger closing in, Gia Corona and Jacey Conrad's From Russia With Claws will leave you howling for more!

Travel video about destination Russia.
Russia is a country full of adventure, culture and vast distances. A continent, a multi-ethnic country and a vast land unites both Europe and Asia. Moscow is the capital of Russia and the largest city in Europe in which both Tsar rule and soviet communism gave the city its present appearance. The Kremlin is located on a forty metre high hill above the Moskva River and beyond its protective walls are numerous buildings, palaces, towers, squares and churches. The city’s history began with the construction of the Kremlin which lay at the very heart of the city and was for centuries Russia’s spiritual and political centre. A fascinating cruise travels across numerous rivers, canals and lakes within the heart of the former Tsar’s realm, past monasteries and timber built churches. In Uglič the Dimitrijvskaija Church is crowned with blue, onion-shaped domes that are adorned with stars. The red colour of the church is a symbol of bloodshed and the incidents that once occurred at this place of death gave rise to a time of confusion. St. Petersburg, known also as the Venice Of The North, contains splendid buildings such as the Winter Palace and the Eremitage. Twenty four thousand tree stumps were used for the foundation of Isaaks Cathedral that can accommodate a congregation of fourteen thousand. In Port Baikal is the modern Circum-Baikal train that takes a full day to travel around Lake Baikal and is one of the most difficult sections of the Trans-Siberian Railroad that travels from Moscow to as far as Vladivostok. Russia is huge and its nature, culture, immense contrast and dramatic history have formed the fascinating and colourful Russian soul.

Your trip to Moscow, Russia is bound to be a special one. From the multicolored spires of St. Basil’s Cathedral to the sturdy red walls of the Kremlin, there is much to see and do in this stunning city.
Named after the Moskva River—which flows through the city—Moscow has long been at the forefront of the creative world. Tour Moscow to follow in the footsteps of Tolstoy and Chekhov, among others, and join in the sense of pride Russia feels for its literary tradition. Moscow has named a number of its parks and open spaces after its poets and authors, so take a break at the fountain in Pushkin Square, or rest beneath the leafy trees in Gorky Park. When you’ve gotten your fill of literary splendor, head to the Memorial Museum of Cosmonauts, where you can learn about the Soviet Union’s efforts to reach the stars and the epic space race that lasted from 1955 to 1972.
Moscow is a city of creativity and innovation, but is also very much aware of its own history; as such, a haunting part of any Moscow sightseeing is a visit to the Fallen Monument Park. After the fall of the Soviet Union, countless statues and monuments were removed from their pedestals and moved to this park. Over the years, more modern artwork and sculptures have been added, turning the park into a strange, yet peaceful graveyard of former icons.

Take a tour of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, Russian Federation -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
It looks more like a cluster of brightly colored hot air balloons than a cathedral.
This is St. Basil's, or the "Cathedral of the Intercession of the Virgin By the Moat".
This flamboyantly shaped and colored building is one of Russia's most important churches.
The cathedral was started in 1555 as eight chapels built around a larger ninth.
There have been several theories about the design of St. Basil's, but no certain answers.
The cathedral has had several additions, and the whole church narrowly escaped destruction under Stalin.

St. Basil's is no longer a church, it now operates as a museum.

Take a tour of Omsk Dormition Cathedral in Omsk, Russia -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
A striking feature of the city of Omsk, in southern Russia, is the grand and colorful Dormition Cathedral.
This structure boasts a gleaming white exterior and shiny blue and gold domes, typical of Russian architecture.
These features add to the majesty of the cathedral as both a place of worship and historical monument.
The original Dormition Cathedral was built in the late nineteenth century, designed in the Russian Revival Style.
However, when the Soviets came to power, they destroyed this and many other Russian churches as part of their Communist agenda.
Fortunately, the Omsk Dormition Cathedral was recently rebuilt, to forever regain its beauty and history.

Travel video about destination Moskva in Russia.
Moscow is the capital of Russia and the largest city in Europe. Both Tsar rule and soviet communism gave the city its present appearance. It has witnessed much change and has become a prosperous city and one of contrast and the superlative, of millionaires and also the very poor. Vasiliya Blazhennovo Khram, Basilius Cathedral, is one of the main landmarks of the Russian metropolis and was built at the command of Moscow sovereign, Ivan The Fourth, also known as Ivan The Terrible, Russia’s first Tsar. The cathedral is representative of Moscow’s architecture with red brick monuments and an accumulation of onion-shaped towers. The Kremlin extends beyond a red wall and various towers that date back to the fifteenth century. Since time immemorial it has been the seat of both tsars and bishops and in front of its walls is Red Square that was once used as a marketplace and also a place of execution. Here the death penalty was declared and immediately carried out. Arbatskaya is a city district west of the Kremlin. In the fifteenth century, the craftsmen and servants of the Tsar lived there and then followed artists, intellectuals and aristocrats. In 1935 the Metro was inaugurated and had thirteen stations. Today there are more than a hundred located along two hundred and sixty kilometres of rail, used by millions each and every day. The Moscow Underground is fast, cheap and quite splendid. Its stations are veritable works of art! When the Tsar’s empire vanished, the realm of the Communist rulers was torn apart. But the mega metropolis of Moscow managed to survive. A restless and powerful city of fantastic culture and truly dramatic history.

Putin has been described as a chess master with the tactics he has used in region over the past 2 years. But chess legend and human right

Host Rich Fahle interviews Ben Mezrich about his latest book, “Once Upon a Time in Russia: The Rise of the Oligarchs – A True Story of Ambition, Wealth, Betrayal, and Murder” at the 2015 Miami Book Fair.
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
The bestselling author of Bringing Down the House (sixty-three weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and the basis for the hit movie 21) and The Accidental Billionaires (the basis for the Academy Award–winning film The Social Network) delivers an epic drama of wealth, rivalry, and betrayal among mega-wealthy Russian oligarchs—and its international repercussions.
Once Upon a Time in Russia is the untold true story of the larger-than-life billionaire oligarchs who surfed the waves of privatization to reap riches after the fall of the Soviet regime: “Godfather of the Kremlin” Boris Berezovsky, a former mathematician whose first entrepreneurial venture was running an automobile reselling business, and Roman Abramovich, his dashing young protégé who built a multi-billion-dollar empire of oil and aluminum. Locked in a complex, uniquely Russian partnership, Berezovsky and Abramovich battled their way through the “Wild East” of Russia with Berezovsky acting as the younger man’s krysha—literally, his roof, his protector.
Written with the heart-stopping pacing of a thriller—but even more compelling because it is true—this story of amassing obscene wealth and power depicts a rarefied world seldom seen up close. Under Berezovsky’s krysha, Abramovich built one of Russia’s largest oil companies from the ground up and in exchange made cash deliveries—including 491 million dollars in just one year. But their relationship frayed when Berezovsky attacked President Vladimir Putin in the media—and had to flee to the UK. Abramovich continued to prosper. Dead bodies trailed Berezovsky’s footsteps, and threats followed him to London, where an associate of his died painfully and famously of Polonium poisoning. Then Berezovsky himself was later found dead, declared a suicide.

Chess metaphors are used, at times ad nauseam, to describe international relations—attack, end game, counterattack, stalemate, and of course, checkmate. In recent years, these terms have most frequently been used when describing Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin has been described as a chess master with the tactics he has used in region over the past 2 years. But chess legend and human rights activist, Garry Kasparov, says Putin is not a master chess player because he doesn’t play by the rules. In his new book, Winter is Coming: Why Vladimir Putin and the Enemies of the Free World Must Be Stopped, Kasparov argues that the worlds’ democracies must take an economic and diplomatic stand against Putin’s Russia to stop his global threat.
Join the IOP as it welcomes arguably the greatest chess player in history, Garry Kasparov, to discuss what America and its allies can do to stop Putin.

Russia and Slovakia confirmed their places at next year's European Championship finals after victories in the final round of qualifying matches last night.
First-half goals from Oleg Kuzmin and Aleksandr Kokorin gave the Russians a 2-0 win over Montenegro in Moscow which sealed their second-place finish behind runaway Group G leaders Austria.
Sweden head into the play-offs despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Erkan Zengin giving them a 2-0 win over Moldova in Solna.
Meanwhile, Austria celebrated the end of a stunning qualifying campaign with their ninth win in 10 games.
Two goals from Marc Janko and one from Marko Arnautovic saw the Austrians ease past Liechtenstein 3-0 in Vienna.
Slovakia had to survive a late scare in Luxembourg to book their place in the finals as Group C runners-up behind winners Spain.
Starting the night knowing victory would almost certainly be enough to see them pip rivals Ukraine, Slovakia eased into a 3-0 lead inside the opening half-hour with goals from Marek Hamsik, Adam Nemec and Robert Mak, but minnows Luxembourg hit back with second-half goals from Mario Mutsch and Lars Gerson before an injury-time effort from Hamsik settled the visitors' nerves and sealed a 4-2 win.
As it happened, Slovakia's nerves were unfounded as an early Mario Gaspar goal gave Spain a 1-0 victory over the Ukrainians in Kiev, sending Mykhaylo Fomenko's men into the play-offs.
Switzerland had to wait until injury time to break the deadlock against Estonia in Tallinn, a Ragnar Klavan own goal handing the visitors victory.
And Slovenia confirmed their place in the play-offs with an underwhelming 2-0 win over San Marino in Serravalle with second-half goals from Bojan Perec and Nejc Pecnik.

Also in Group C, already-eliminated pair Belarus and Macedonia ground out a goalless draw in Borisov.
Roy Hodgson's youthful England line-up wrapped up a 100 per cent record in their qualifying campaign with a straight-forward 3-0 win over Lithuania in Vilnius.
In a game marred by crowd trouble, Ross Barkley opened the scoring for England just before the half-hour and a Giedrius Arlauskis own goal had the visitors well in command before half-time.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netted the third for England in the 62nd minute to complete a highly impressive qualifying performance.
With their own qualifying place already secured in second place behind England, Switzerland had to wait until injury time to break the deadlock against Estonia in Tallinn, a Ragnar Klavan own goal handing the visitors victory.
And Slovenia confirmed their place in the play-offs with an underwhelming 2-0 win over San Marino in Serravalle with second half goals from Bojan Perec and Nejc Pecnik.

ANNA KARENINA by Leo Tolstoy - Part 1 - FULL AudioBook | Greatest Audio Books - Anna Karenina (Russian: «Анна Каренина»; Russian pronunciation: [ˈanːə kɐˈrʲenʲɪnə]) is a novel by the Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, published in serial installments from 1873 to 1877 in the periodical The Russian Messenger. Tolstoy clashed with editor Mikhail Katkov over political issues that arose in the final installment (Tolstoy's unpopular views of volunteers going to Serbia); therefore, the novel's first complete appearance was in book form.
Widely regarded as a pinnacle in realist fiction, Tolstoy considered Anna Karenina his first true novel, when he came to consider War and Peace to be more than a novel.
Fyodor Dostoevsky declared it to be "flawless as a work of art". His opinion was shared by Vladimir Nabokov, who especially admired "the flawless magic of Tolstoy's style", and by William Faulkner, who described the novel as "the best ever written". The novel is currently enjoying popularity, as demonstrated by a recent poll of 125 contemporary authors by J. Peder Zane, published in 2007 in "The Top Ten" in Time, which declared that Anna Karenina is the "greatest novel ever written."
PLOT INTRODUCTION:
Anna Karenina is the tragedy of married aristocrat and socialite Anna Karenina and her affair with the affluent Count Vronsky. The story starts when she arrives in the midst of a family broken up by her brother's unbridled womanizing—something that prefigures her own later situation, though with less tolerance for her by others.
A bachelor, Vronsky is willing to marry her if she would agree to leave her husband Karenin, a government official, but she is vulnerable to the pressures of Russian social norms, her own insecurities and Karenin's indecision. Although Vronsky and Anna go to Italy where they can be together, they have trouble making friends. Back in Russia, she is shunned, becoming further isolated and anxious, while Vronsky pursues his social life. Despite Vronsky's reassurances she grows increasingly possessive and paranoid about his imagined infidelity, fearing loss of control.
A parallel story within the novel is that of Konstantin Levin, a country landowner who desires to marry Kitty, sister to Dolly and sister-in-law to Anna's brother Oblonsky. Konstantin has to propose twice before Kitty accepts. The novel details Konstantin's difficulties managing his estate, his eventual marriage, and personal issues, until the birth of his first child.
Bestselling author Ben Mezrich stopped by Google's office in Cambridge, MA to discuss his book, "Once Upon a Time in Russia: The Rise of the Oligarchs and the Greatest Wealth in History".
Ben Mezrich writes books that become part of our common conversation (partly because they’re made into highly successful movies), including The Accidental Billionaires (“The Social Network”) and Bringing Down the House (“21”). In his latest book, he delivers an epic drama of wealth, rivalry, and betrayal among mega-wealthy Russian oligarchs who took advantage of privatization to reap riches after the Soviet regime fell.

Unexplained aerial observations have been reported throughout history. Some were undoubtedly astronomical in nature: comets, bright meteors, one or more of the five planets that can be seen with the naked eye, planetary conjunctions, or atmospheric optical phenomena such as parhelia and lenticular clouds. An example is Halley's Comet, which was recorded first by Chinese astronomers in 240 BC and possibly as early as 467 BC. Such sightings throughout history often were treated as supernatural portents, angels, aliens extraterrestrial, extraterrestrial life or other religious omens. Some current-day Search for Extraterrestrial or UFO researchers have noticed similarities between some religious symbols in medieval paintings and UFO reports though the canonical and symbolic character of such images is documented by art historians placing more conventional religious interpretations on such images with regards to the Evidence of Extraterrestrial beings who visited Earth.
