For those of you who are not aware, the L.A. BEAST has had a significant FEAR OF FROGS ever since the accident at Boy Scout Camp back when he was 9 years old. The L.A. BEAST was learning how to fish in this dirty green disgusting pond, when out of no where he lost his balance on the rock that he was standing on and plunged full speed ahead into this slimy green pond. Within 2.3 seconds, the L.A. BEAST was surrounded by a gaggle of frogs and immediately starting screaming, freaking out and crying at the top of his lungs for someone to get him the hell out of there. Ever since the L.A. BEAST was pulled from that murky pond of frog hell on that fateful day, he has never been able to look at frogs the same way and has gotten severe anxiety anytime he has come in contact with them. (Especially in Biology Class Dissecting Them and Those Old Budweiser Commercials)
Sit back, relax and watch the L.A. BEAST CONQUER his FEAR OF FROGS once and for all by utilizing the help from a Flower Pot.

Frogs are amphibians in the order Anura (meaning "tailless", from Greek an-, without + oura, tail), formerly referred to as Salientia (Latin salere (salio), "to jump"). Most frogs are characterized by a short body, webbed digits (fingers or toes), protruding eyes, bifid tongue and the absence of a tail. Frogs are widely known as exceptional jumpers, and many of the anatomical characteristics of frogs, particularly their long, powerful legs, are adaptations to improve jumping performance. Due to their permeable skin, frogs are often semi-aquatic or inhabit humid areas, but move easily on land. They typically lay their eggs in puddles, ponds or lakes, and their larvae, called tadpoles, have gills and tails to develop in water. Adult frogs follow a carnivorous diet, mostly of arthropods, annelids and gastropods. Frogs are most noticeable by their call, which can be widely heard during the night or day, mainly in their mating season.
The distribution of frogs ranges from tropic to subarctic regions, but most species are found in tropical rainforests. Consisting of more than 5,000 species described, they are among the most diverse groups of vertebrates. However, populations of certain frog species are declining significantly.

BEAST was surrounded by a gaggle of frogs and immediately starting screaming, freaking out and crying at the top of his lungs for someone to get him the hell out of there. Ever since the L.A. BEAST was pulled from that murky pond of frog hell on that fateful day, he has never been able to look at frogs the same way and has gotten severe anxiety anytime he has come in contact with them. Meet the most poisonous frog in the world! One drop of toxin from a poison dart frog will kill you within 3 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no cure. What is it? Poison dart frogs are a group of small frogs of varying bright colors with an invisible layer of poison on their skin. The poison is produced by collecting building blocks of toxin from the bugs and insects they eat. This toxin is so dangerous that free handling a frog for an insignificant amount of time will put your life at risk. It gets its name from the South American tribes that use the frog's secretion to poison their blowgun darts for use during battle. Where are they located? Poison dart frogs are found deep in the tropical rainforests of Central & South America. They're endemic to wet, humid environments. They live on or close to the ground or in small trees no larger than 10 meters from the ground. But frogs help in captivity in terrariums and vivariums are not poisonous. How will it kill you? All it takes is a small cut for the frog's venom to get into your body and kill you. Once the toxin is in your bloodstream, it quickly makes its way into your nervous system where it binds to cellular receptors at the membrane of the nervous system, causing paralysis. Once your nervous system shuts down, your respiration muscles also begin to stop functioning properly and your breathing stops, ultimately causing all your tissues to die due to a lack of oxygen--this is also known as anoxic brain injury. How to survive: There is currently no known cure for the poison dart frog toxin. The damage is irreversible and whatever damage takes place is permanent, so no proper care or treatment of a poisoned wound can help you. So which type of poison dart frog is the most deadly? The golden poison frog has enough toxin on average to kill between ten to twenty men, or ten thousand mice. So would you rather..be poisoned by a poison dart frog? For those of you who are not aware, the L.A. BEAST has had a significant FEAR OF FROGS ever since the accident at Boy Scout Camp back when he was 9 years old. The L.A. BEAST was learning how to fish in this dirty green disgusting pond, when out of no where he lost his balance on the rock that he was standing on and plunged full speed ahead into this slimy green pond. Within 2.3 seconds, the L.A. BEAST was surrounded by a gaggle of frogs and immediately starting screaming, freaking out and crying at the top of his lungs for someone to get him the hell out of there. Ever since the L.A. BEAST was pulled from that murky pond of frog hell on that fateful day, he has never been able to look at frogs the same way and has gotten severe anxiety anytime he has come in contact with them. (Especially in Biology Class Dissecting Them and Those Old Budweiser Commercials)
Sit back, relax and watch the L.A. BEAST CONQUER his FEAR OF FROGS once and for all by utilizing the help from a Flower Pot.

What is it?
Poison dart frogs are a group of small frogs of varying bright colors with an invisible layer of poison on their skin. The poison is produced by collecting building blocks of toxin from the bugs and insects they eat. This toxin is so dangerous that free handling a frog for an insignificant amount of time will put your life at risk. It gets its name from the South American tribes that use the frog's secretion to poison their blowgun darts for use during battle.
Where are they located?
Poison dart frogs are found deep in the tropical rainforests of Central & South America. They're endemic to wet, humid environments. They live on or close to the ground or in small trees no larger than 10 meters from the ground. But frogs help in captivity in terrariums and vivariums are not poisonous.
How will it kill you?
All it takes is a small cut for the frog's venom to get into your body and kill you. Once the toxin is in your bloodstream, it quickly makes its way into your nervous system where it binds to cellular receptors at the membrane of the nervous system, causing paralysis. Once your nervous system shuts down, your respiration muscles also begin to stop functioning properly and your breathing stops, ultimately causing all your tissues to die due to a lack of oxygen--this is also known as anoxic brain injury.
How to survive:
There is currently no known cure for the poison dart frog toxin. The damage is irreversible and whatever damage takes place is permanent, so no proper care or treatment of a poisoned wound can help you.
So which type of poison dart frog is the most deadly?
The golden poison frog has enough toxin on average to kill between ten to twenty men, or ten thousand mice.

Let other people have cats and dogs! Jungle Bob is here to show you that owning a pet reptile or amphibian is not as complicated as you might think. In this video, he shares four tips about caring for a pixie frog.
A lot of people come in to buy pets, they want that wow factor pet, and they're looking for a frog that's easy to keep while often pointing to a Pixie or a South African bullfrog. I do that because, I do it with a smirk on my face, because I'm going to see them a lot in the future, because these little guys here do one thing well, and that's eat.
There's a misnomer in the amphibian world, and that is frogs eat nothing but flies. We often see pictures in kid's books and frogs smiling happily, shooting flies out of the air with their elongated tongues This is not true. Frogs are predators, frogs have teeth in their mouth, and they'll just about anything.
And a little, baby Pixie frog like this, in about a year or two, will turn into a monster like this. Everybody, meet Jabba, we call him Jabba, the African Bullfrog. The African bullfrog, or Pixie frog, is a true predator, that will eat just about anything that gets in front of him. We've seen him eat fish, we've seen him pick birds that fell out of their nest. Once in a while, he'll eat a snake, a lizard, anything that he can get his formidable mouth on, he will grab.
He does not shoot his tongue, that's a mistake. People think frogs shoot their tongues way up into the air to catch flies that go by. You think Jabba is living on flies here? No, flies are really hard to catch for an animal his size, and we'd have to feed him a thousand of them a day to maintain that body weight. So, instead, he sits there, burns no calories, and waits for food to be deposited.
So, therefore, if he's in a terrarium, wow, what a great animal, because no matter what you drop in front of him, he's going to make a meal out of it. It's extremely animated and a lot of fun to watch, and the variety of foods, anything you could find, even something you find outside in the garden, you drop in front of Jabba and down the chute it goes.
So, the African bullfrog is a wonder of the pet world these days. You need a pretty good size tank for a guy this big, they will get 2/12 to 3 pounds in size. The African bullfrog.
