Many countries have a national sport stadium, which typically serves as the primary or exclusive home for one or more of a country's national representative sports teams. The term is most often used in reference to an association football stadium. Usually, a national stadium will be in or very near a country's capital city or largest city. It is generally (but not always) the country's largest and most lavish sports venue with a rich history of hosting a major moment in sports (i.e. FIFA World Cup, Olympics, etc.). In many, but not all cases, it is also used by a local team. Many countries, including Spain and the United States, do not have a national stadium designated as such; instead matches are rotated throughout the country. The lack of a national stadium can be seen as advantageous as designating a single stadium would limit the fan base capable of realistically attending matches as well as the concern of the cost of transportation, especially in the case of the United States due to its geographical size and high population.
Stadium is a light rail station located in Seattle, Washington. It is situated between the SODO and International District/Chinatown stations on the Central Link line, which runs from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport to Downtown Seattle as part of the Link Light Rail system. The station consists of an at-grade island platform at the intersection of the SODO Busway and South Royal Brougham Way in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, adjacent to CenturyLink Field and Safeco Field.
Stadium Station was proposed in 1998 as part of the segment between the Downtown Seattle and Beacon Hill tunnels and subsequently deferred months later. It was reinstated in 2005 and construction of the station was completed in May 2006, several years before Link light rail service began on July 18, 2009. Trains serve the station 20 hours a day every day; the headway between trains is 6 minutes during peak periods, with less frequent service at other times. Stadium Station is also served by several Sound Transit Express and King County Metro buses that stop on the SODO Busway west of the platform, as well as the Seattle Greyhound station east of the platform.

The Bangkok Mass Transit System, commonly known as the BTS or the Skytrain (Thai: รถไฟฟ้า rot fai fa), is an elevated rapid transit system in Bangkok, Thailand. It is operated by Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC) under a concession granted by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). The system consists of 34 stations along two lines: the Sukhumvit Line running northwards and eastwards, terminating at Mo Chit and Bearing respectively, and the Silom Line which serves Silom and Sathon Roads, the central business district of Bangkok, terminating at the National Stadium and Bang Wa. The lines interchange at Siam Station and have a combined route length of 36.45 kilometers (22.65 mi). The system is formally known as the Elevated Train in Commemoration of HM the King's 6th Cycle Birthday (รถไฟฟ้าเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 6 รอบ พระชนมพรรษา).
Besides the BTS, Bangkok's rapid transit system includes the underground railway line MRT, and the elevated Suvarnabhumi Airport Link (SARL), serving several stations in the city before reaching the airport.
The Silom Line is a route of the BTS Skytrain in Bangkok, Thailand. It runs eastward from the National Stadium Station in Pathum Wan District over Rama I Road and interchanges with the Sukhumvit Line at Siam BTS Station, then turns southward, following Ratchadamri, Si Lom, Narathiwat Ratchanakharin and Sathon Roads to Taksin Bridge where it crosses the Chao Phraya River and terminates at Bang Wa Station in Phasi Charoen District. The line is represented on the official BTS map in dark green.
Originally consisting of seven stations from National Stadium (W1) to Saphan Taksin (S6) when the BTS first opened 5 December 1999. A planned station at S4 was not built but is now planned for 2017 construction and opening in 2018.
A 2.2 km extension across the river to Wongwian Yai (S8) opened 15 May 2009 after many years of delay. Originally, this extension was due to open in 2007.
A further 5.3 km, 4 station extension from Wongwian Yai (S8) to Bang Wa (S12) in Phasi Charoen District was delayed for many months by the Bangkok floods of late 2011.

Riding the Bangkok Skytrain from the Siam interchange station to National Stadium. View starts with the front of the relatively new Siam Square One Mall then we see the roofs of the boutiques, specialty stores, cafes and cinemas of Siam Square. The train passes over Phayathai Road and we see the huge MBK Mall (with a large screen showing a ceremony honouring the recently deceased King) before arriving at National Stadium station. 50,000 people gathered at Singapore Sports Hub (National Stadium) for the largest Christian gathering in Singapore to date. Here's the view of Jubilee Day of Prayer Worship session 1 from my personal drum camera. It was shot using a GoPro 3. The audio feed was taken direct from my In-Ear Monitor (Aviom 2) and the final mix. You can hear that the metronome is pretty loud in my mix because that's the main thing that helps the drummer and band keep in time. You can also hear the music director's voice cues throughout the worship session. This really helps us to play together as a band. Hope this helps you as a drummer! Songs: 1) Days of Elijah (0:19 ) 2) Majesty (4:16 ) 3) Our God (7:30) 4) United In Prayer (13:20) 5) I Offer My Life (18:50) 6) Waves of Revival (23:20) 7) How Great Is Ou...
Walking trough the Mah Boon Khrong Center (MBK) mall or MBK center มาบุญครอง in Bangkok, Thailand. Filmed with my GoPro Hero 3. Location: Pathum Wan district, National Stadium BTS Station I'd advise to take the sky train as it is a fun experience. At eight stories high, the center contains around 2,000 shops, restaurants and service outlets, including the 4-story Tokyu department store. The MBK Center management reports daily visitor numbers of more than 100,000, half of whom are young Thai people and a third foreign visitors. The MBK Center is popular with tourists, although the majority of shoppers are Bangkok residents. Many stores selling authentic merchandise are also available. MBK Center is connected to the Siam Discovery and Siam Paragon shopping mall by elevated walkways, both of...
