高雄市大統百貨公司之歷史影像（1975-1995）

【歷史上的今天】二十年前的今天，1995年10月29日，是一個令高雄人難忘的日子，那一天，代表台灣經濟奇蹟的大統百貨公司突然發生了一場大火，在連續燒了三天之後，成了廢墟。三、四十年前，高雄市的大統百貨是當地大人小孩們最嚮往的地方，其外觀方正雄偉，內設全台首座透明電梯，而三角窗大大的英文字母P（大統英文 President 字首）就像是繁榮的代表。大統百貨的頂樓有南台灣最早的兒童樂園，那是小孩的天堂；裡面有摩天輪可以鳥瞰高雄夜景，還有各種好玩的遊樂設施：搖滾樂、飛天毛氈、小型海盜船、碰碰車、空中小火車、旋轉木馬、大白馬⋯，而當整點的音樂響起時，大家會不約而同停下腳步，觀看公主與娃娃兵現身跳舞，這是高雄人的共同回憶。然而，就在這一天，高雄人卻只能眼睜睜地看著它漸漸消逝在濃煙中。大火之後，遭到焚燬的大統百貨變成了荒廢的危樓，靜靜地處在高雄市最熱鬧的地方，長達十年的時間，無人理睬，彷彿象徵一個世代的結束。現在，讓我們來回顧大統百貨公司的歷史，這一切要從40年前說起。 1975年10月6日上午10時，坐落在高雄市五福二路262號（中山一路口）的大統百貨公司正式開幕，影片裡可以看到當天刊登在《中國時報》頭版的開幕廣告，畫面左側女子是紅極一時的「一代妖姬」崔苔菁，廣告裡詳細介紹各樓層的營業內容，包括地下一樓的超市到地上九樓的餐廳街以及屋頂的大統公園，並強調擁有全國首創的「觀光電梯」，即大樓正面裝設有兩部透明觀光電梯，可上下綜覽大高雄美景。 40年前開幕的大統百貨公司，位於高雄市五福二與中山一路交會處，曾於1960至1968年擔任高雄市長的陳啟川先生之故居就在附近，這兩條道路當年在陳市長的規劃下，成為蓬勃興盛的商業區。這間大統百貨公司是大統百貨的創始店，最初成立時僅稱「大統百貨公司」，並無「五福店」之名，為一座地上9層、地下2層的大樓，總面積約9千坪。在1995年發生火災後，被普遍稱為「舊大統」，2010年重新開幕時，為了和大統百貨和平店有所區別，便定名為大統五福店。 1982年，大統百貨公司曾發生炸彈爆炸案，導致店員一死一傷。 1995年10月29日，大統百貨公司發生嚴重火災，後來又因家族產權、地製法新規定的容積率問題，以及對於採取重建或修建模式重新營業引發爭議，整棟大樓的運作完全停擺將近10年。 2005年7月，舊大統由原本的9層樓拆至剩下3層樓。 2006年1月，舊大統以「大統262」的名稱重新開業（262取自地址裡的號碼），營業樓層為地上一、二樓，三、四樓則做為停車場。 2008年4月，大統262因營運狀況不佳而結束營業。 2010年2月，大統262以「大統五福店」的名稱重新開業，營業樓層為地下一樓至地上三樓，地下二樓及地上四樓為停車場，以餐飲娛樂業種為主，並且在「舊大統」原本觀光電梯的位置，重新打造一部透明電梯，可眺望新堀江商圈街景。目前大統五福店的旁邊有新堀江商店街，對面是中央公園，高雄捷運在這一帶設有中央公園站。影片來源： https://youtu.be/dhRI9uGZ-tI https://youtu.be/Ch2XpuKLJ9E https://youtu.be/Of3708-ifdQ 背景音樂： "Lullabye (Sting)" by Twin Musicom "Pedro Versus the World" by Jingle Punks

The city is served by the railway stations of Western Line and Pingtung Line. Taiwan High Speed Rail connects it with Taipei City. The Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit, the city's subway system, was launched in early 2008. Kaohsiung was the host city of the 2009 World Games, a multisport event primarily composed of sports not featured in the Olympic Games. The city is also home to the Republic of China Navy.

高雄市改制直轄市（1979.7.1）
民國68年（1979）7月1日，高雄市升格改制為直轄市，依改制條件背景、改制典禮和城市未來展望，分而略述如下。（一）高雄市改制條件地理、交通和經建發展成熟，高雄市改制升格為直轄市。高雄是台灣南部最大的港埠都市，具有發展成為國際都市足夠的條件。在交通設施上，高雄擁有各種不同的運輸系統：南北高速公路、鐵路、國際機場、高雄港，在我國經濟建設中擔當一個重要的角色。高雄鄰近有大社、林園兩個石化工業區，也有技術密集的加工出口區，更有10項建設中的一貫作業大煉鋼廠、百萬噸級船塢的中國造船廠，轄區內有各類型工廠兩千多家。（二）高雄市改制典禮民國68年7月1日，「高雄市改制直轄市成立暨第一任市市長就職典禮」在高雄市政府舉行，行政院院長孫運璿親臨主持布達儀式。典禮中，院長期勉全體公職人員和市民共同努力建設高雄市為現代化的國際都市，第一任直轄市長王玉雲也致詞說明今後努力的方向；台灣省政府主席林洋港在茶會中致詞，希望省市之間共同合作，充實國家力量，美國檀香山市長法西也祝賀姊妹市的改制升格。（三）高雄市改制後的未來展望 (1) 加速都市發展促進繁榮。高雄市人口已超過一百萬人，各項都市建設正走向現代化，改制後發展必更迅速，對促進社會繁榮有很大的幫助。 (2) 充實精神與文化建設。高雄市是一個國際港埠，為避免奢靡風氣感染，充實並改善國民生活內涵，及推廣文化建設，是高雄市改制後的重要課題。 (3) 遊樂設施和風景區的規畫。高雄市對遊樂設施和風景區的規畫，須兼顧台灣的亞熱帶氣候與我國傳統文化風格特色。影片裡拍攝的地點包括了高雄市國宅、百貨公司、地下街、西子灣、高雄孔廟（櫺星門），與愛河等地。從萬壽山鳥瞰高雄市美麗夜景，萬家燈火，瑰麗多姿，如繁星般點點發光。

Taiwan Travel: Exploring Kaohsiung and Food!
Kaohsiung is a city worth checking out in South Taiwan. To get there from Taipei, just take the rapid rails and in a few hours, you'll be there. In Kaohsiung, I met up with local friends Maggie and Wennie who showed me around Kaohsiung's harbor area and Cijin Island. But first, before the ferry, we stopped by a shaved ice place that serves shaved ice by gigantic bowls. It was delicious and super sweet- perfect for a hot day in Taiwan. Next, we boarded a quick ferry to Cijin Island, where seafood restaurants line both sides. This was full of tourists, but rightfully so because the street food was also delicious. We ate some roasted fresh squid- the best I've ever had. Then we stopped and checked out some weird ginger sauce tomato dip dish that can only be found regionally. Overall, it was ...

Kaohsiung is a city worth checking out in South Taiwan. To get there from Taipei, just take the rapid rails and in a few hours, you'll be there. In Kaohsiung, I met up with local friends Maggie and Wennie who showed me around Kaohsiung's harbor area and Cijin Island. But first, before the ferry, we stopped by a shaved ice place that serves shaved ice by gigantic bowls. It was delicious and super sweet- perfect for a hot day in Taiwan. Next, we boarded a quick ferry to Cijin Island, where seafood restaurants line both sides. This was full of tourists, but rightfully so because the street food was also delicious. We ate some roasted fresh squid- the best I've ever had. Then we stopped and checked out some weird ginger sauce tomato dip dish that can only be found regionally. Overall, it was a great day. 【歷史上的今天】二十年前的今天，1995年10月29日，是一個令高雄人難忘的日子，那一天，代表台灣經濟奇蹟的大統百貨公司突然發生了一場大火，在連續燒了三天之後，成了廢墟。三、四十年前，高雄市的大統百貨是當地大人小孩們最嚮往的地方，其外觀方正雄偉，內設全台首座透明電梯，而三角窗大大的英文字母P（大統英文 President 字首）就像是繁榮的代表。大統百貨的頂樓有南台灣最早的兒童樂園，那是小孩的天堂；裡面有摩天輪可以鳥瞰高雄夜景，還有各種好玩的遊樂設施：搖滾樂、飛天毛氈、小型海盜船、碰碰車、空中小火車、旋轉木馬、大白馬⋯，而當整點的音樂響起時，大家會不約而同停下腳步，觀看公主與娃娃兵現身跳舞，這是高雄人的共同回憶。然而，就在這一天，高雄人卻只能眼睜睜地看著它漸漸消逝在濃煙中。大火之後，遭到焚燬的大統百貨變成了荒廢的危樓，靜靜地處在高雄市最熱鬧的地方，長達十年的時間，無人理睬，彷彿象徵一個世代的結束。現在，讓我們來回顧大統百貨公司的歷史，這一切要從40年前說起。 1975年10月6日上午10時，坐落在高雄市五福二路262號（中山一路口）的大統百貨公司正式開幕，影片裡可以看到當天刊登在《中國時報》頭版的開幕廣告，畫面左側女子是紅極一時的「一代妖姬」崔苔菁，廣告裡詳細介紹各樓層的營業內容，包括地下一樓的超市到地上九樓的餐廳街以及屋頂的大統公園，並強調擁有全國首創的「觀光電梯」，即大樓正面裝設有兩部透明觀光電梯，可上下綜覽大高雄美景。 40年前開幕的大統百貨公司，位於高雄市五福二與中山一路交會處，曾於1960至1968年擔任高雄市長的陳啟川先生之故居就在附近，這兩條道路當年在陳市長的規劃下，成為蓬勃興盛的商業區。這間大統百貨公司是大統百貨的創始店，最初成立時僅稱「大統百貨公司」，並無「五福店」之名，為一座地上9層、地下2層的大樓，總面積約9千坪。在1995年發生火災後，被普遍稱為「舊大統」，2010年重新開幕時，為了和大統百貨和平店有所區別，便定名為大統五福店。 1982年，大統百貨公司曾發生炸彈爆炸案，導致店員一死一傷。 1995年10月29日，大統百貨公司發生嚴重火災，後來又因家族產權、地製法新規定的容積率問題，以及對於採取重建或修建模式重新營業引發爭議，整棟大樓的運作完全停擺將近10年。 2005年7月，舊大統由原本的9層樓拆至剩下3層樓。 2006年1月，舊大統以「大統262」的名稱重新開業（262取自地址裡的號碼），營業樓層為地上一、二樓，三、四樓則做為停車場。 2008年4月，大統262因營運狀況不佳而結束營業。 2010年2月，大統262以「大統五福店」的名稱重新開業，營業樓層為地下一樓至地上三樓，地下二樓及地上四樓為停車場，以餐飲娛樂業種為主，並且在「舊大統」原本觀光電梯的位置，重新打造一部透明電梯，可眺望新堀江商圈街景。目前大統五福店的旁邊有新堀江商店街，對面是中央公園，高雄捷運在這一帶設有中央公園站。影片來源： https://youtu.be/dhRI9uGZ-tI https://youtu.be/Ch2XpuKLJ9E https://youtu.be/Of3708-ifdQ 背景音樂： "Lullabye (Sting)" by Twin Musicom "Pedro Versus the World" by Jingle Punks

Kaohsiung is a city worth checking out in South Taiwan. To get there from Taipei, just take the rapid rails and in a few hours, you'll be there. In Kaohsiung, I met up with local friends Maggie and Wennie who showed me around Kaohsiung's harbor area and Cijin Island. But first, before the ferry, we stopped by a shaved ice place that serves shaved ice by gigantic bowls. It was delicious and super sweet- perfect for a hot day in Taiwan. Next, we boarded a quick ferry to Cijin Island, where seafood restaurants line both sides. This was full of tourists, but rightfully so because the street food was also delicious. We ate some roasted fresh squid- the best I've ever had. Then we stopped and checked out some weird ginger sauce tomato dip dish that can only be found regionally. Overall, it was a great day.
