Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and allied army units have launched fresh retaliatory attacks against Saudi Arabia inflicting heavy casualties on the kingdom’s forces.
At least 24 Saudi soldiers were killed and nearly 40 others injured as Yemenis fired rockets into the Jizan region inside the kingdom. Yemeni snipers killed two Saudi soldiers in the same region. Ansarullah fighters also fired rockets at strategic Saudi oil tanks in the Asir region and a military base in the Najran region. Elsewhere, a large number of Saudi forces and their mercenaries were killed by the army in Yemen’s Hajjah province. The Yemeni reprisal attacks are aimed at compelling Riyadh to stop its deadly war, which has left over 7400 civilians dead since March 26.

He said Yemeni fighters have launched a new phase of using strategic options in their war against Saudi Arabia. They also shelled several military sites in southern Saudi Arabia. Inside Yemen, Ansarullah fighters killed 25 militants fighting for Saudi Arabia and captured several others in the southern Ta’izz province. Meanwhile, Saudi warplanes launched airstrikes on Ta’izz. Riyadh’s relentless onslaught on Yemen has killed over 7200 people since late March.

Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry says one of its soldiers was killed and another wounded in Yemeni attacks in the border province of Jizan.
The retaliatory attacks took place early in the morning in the town of Hareth. Yemeni fighters also fired rockets at two military bases in the same region. They destroyed Saudi tanks and a military vehicle as well. Attacks on Saudi border regions began weeks after Riyadh launched its aggression against the impoverished Arab country.

Jazan (Arabic: جازان jazān), also spelled Jizan, Gizan or Gazan, is the capital of Jizan Province, which lies in the southwest corner of Saudi Arabia and directly north of the border with Yemen. Jazan City is situated on the coast of the Red Sea and serves a large agricultural heartland that has a population of 1.5 million, according to a 2010 census. The area is famous for its beautiful islands and high-quality production of tropical fruits like mango, figs, and papaya.
Jazan has an arid tropical climate with an average annual temperature of 86.2 °F (30.1 °C). January typically sees daytime highs of 88 °F (31 °C) and lows of 71 °F (22 °C), while July has average daytime highs of 104 °F (40 °C) and lows of 86 °F (30 °C). With an average annual temperature of 87 °F (31 °C).
The inhabitants of Jizan are Arab and almost entirely Sunnie Muslim.

Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and allied army units have launched fresh retaliatory attacks against Saudi Arabia inflicting heavy casualties on the kingdom’s forces.
At least 24 Saudi soldiers were killed and nearly 40 others injured as Yemenis fired rockets into the Jizan region inside the kingdom. Yemeni snipers killed two Saudi soldiers in the same region. Ansarullah fighters also fired rockets at strategic Saudi oil tanks in the Asir region and a military base in the Najran region. Elsewhere, a large number of Saudi forces and their mercenaries were killed by the army in Yemen’s Hajjah province. Yemeni forces hit Jizan airport in Southern Saudi Arabia with their new surface-to-surface ballistic missiles on Monday.
"The Qaher-I missile precisely hit the target, the Jizan airport; the third such missile used in the past 24 hours to target military positions in Southern Saudi Arabia," Yemeni military sources told FNA.
The first Qaher-I ballistic missiles targeted Khalid bin Abdulaziz air base in Asir province in Southwestern Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

I was on a leisure visit to Langkawi Malaysia. During a tour of the Kilim Geo-forest eco-park, I noticed many couples where the lady was all veiled up, in black. Found out from the guide that these couples were from Saudi Arabia. Langkawi is apparently a very popular destination for couples from Saudi Arabia to go for their honeymoon. Very interesting. -
