Sukumar Bandreddi (Telugu: సుకుమార్ బ౦డ్రెడ్డి), better known by his first name, is a Tollywood film director and screenwriter. He worked as script associate and assistant director for the films Manasichi Choodu, Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi, Hanuman Junction and Dil, and made his directorial debut with Arya.
Sukumar worked as a mathematics lecturer at Aditya Educational Institutions in Kakinada before entering the film industry.. Since childhood, he had a passion for films, which eventually brought him to Hyderabad.[citation needed].
He later worked as an assistant director for the film Dil with V.V. Vinayak[citation needed] and directed his first film Arya in 2004, which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu.. His next film was Jagadam with Ram in the lead. His third film Arya 2 amid huge expectations was criticized by critics as an underrated movie despite of much hype of the audio, but was appreciated by Allu Arjun's fans. His latest movie, titled 100% Love and starring Naga Chaitanya and Tamanna, was produced by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts studio. It was released on May 6, 2011 and turned out to be successful. Sukumar is all set to direct Mahesh Babu in his next film which will feature Kajal Agarwal as female lead. This film completed its first schedule and heads for the second schedule from may 31st

Mahesh Babu (born Mahesh Babu Ghattamaneni on 9 August 1975) is an Indian film actor best known for his work in Telugu cinema. Born to actor Krishna, Mahesh Babu faced the camera at the age of four as a child artist in 1979's Needa. His first leading role was in the film Rajakumarudu, which was released in August 1999.
After playing the role of a young Kabaddi player in the 2003 blockbuster film Okkadu, Mahesh continued in this vein, gaining mass appeal and appearing in many successful films such as Murari (2001), Athadu (2005), Pokiri (2006), Dookudu (2011) and Business Man (2012). These accomplishments, have established him as one of the most sought after actors in Telugu Cinema. He was listed at 5th position among Times 50 Most Desirable Men for the year 2011 and at 12th place the year before.
Mahesh Babu has worked in nine films as a child artist and in seventeen films as a lead actor till date. He has won six Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Awards and two CineMAA Awards. In addition to the films, he also endorses several brands such as Thums Up, Navratna Oil, Univercell, Amrutanjan,Provogue,Idea, Vivel, Jos Alukkas and Santoor Soap in Andhra Pradesh.

Sukumar Ray (1887-1923), the eldest son of Upendra Kishore, studied printing technology in England and joined the family business. He was an eminent poet, writer and illustrator of nonsense literature in the tradition of Lewis Carroll and Edward Lear.
Sukumar Ray fell ill the year Satyajit Ray was born with a dreaded tropical disease of the time - Kala-azar. He regularly contributed poems, stories and illustrations to 'Sandesh', a children's magazine in Bengali which Satyajit Ray's grandfather had started publishing and printing.

So when Sukumar sir was looking to cast someone to play my role, he seemed to have liked my profile and I was called for an audition ... "But I can only hope that screenwriters and directors are as open as Sukumar sir was and write roles for me ... ....
