Pete's Dragon is an upcoming American live-action-animated fantasy comedy-drama film directed by David Lowery and written by Toby Halbrooks and Lowery, based on a short story by S.S. Field and Seton I. Miller and also a remake of the 1977 film Pete's Dragon. The film stars Oakes Fegley, Oona Laurence, Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard, Wes Bentley and Karl Urban. Filming began on January 26, 2015 in New Zealand. The film is set for an August 12, 2016 release.
In March 2013, Disney announced a reboot of the 1977 film to be written by David Lowery and Toby Halbrooks from the Sundance hit Ain’t Them Bodies Saints. It will reinvent the core story of a venerable Disney family film and will not be a musical. Principal photography commenced in January 2015 in New Zealand, with Lowery directing. On October 2, Barrie M. Osborne was set to produce the film. The film would be shot in live-action using Panavision Panaflex cameras. The animated dragon, Elliot will also be entirely animated in CGI instead of the usual hand-drawn animation.
Pete is a diminutive form of the name Peter.
Pete may also refer to:
Pete is a two-part episode from the science fiction sitcom Red Dwarf's eighth series. Part I was first broadcast in the United States on 7 March 1999 and then on the British television channel BBC2 on 25 March 1999. The second part was broadcast the same day as the first part in the US and on 1 April for the British broadcast. The first part was written by Doug Naylor and the second was written between Naylor and Paul Alexander. Both parts were directed by Ed Bye.
The story begins with Lister and Rimmer being escorted to Captain Hollister's office. Hollister is with Mr Ackerman on whom they played a prank. The prank in question concerned Ackerman and a truth serum; Hollister reports him "rushing onto the bridge this morning, apologising for being late, saying he had been having 'jiggy jiggy' with the science officer's wife and hadn't allowed enough time to change out of his Batman costume." Their punishment pits a team of their choice against Ackerman and the prison guards in a game of Basketball.
"Everyone" is the penultimate track on Van Morrison's 1970 album Moondance.
The song is the fastest on the album. It is in 12/8 time and features more prominent acoustic guitar than other tracks on Moondance where the piano is the main instrument. A notable feature of the intro is a clavinet. A hard but sparse drumbeat is offset by a melody played on the flute throughout the song, including a solo after the second chorus.
Morrison has said "'Everyone is just a song of hope, that's what that is."
The song was used for the final shot of the film The Royal Tenenbaums, but did not appear on any of the film's soundtrack releases.
"Everyone" is the first episode of the sixth series of the British teen drama Skins. It premiered on E4 in the UK on 23 January 2012.
The gang return in style burning their way through a holiday in Morocco, but what begins as a hedonistic trip turns into a living hell. By the time they return to Bristol, everything has changed...
The gang are on holiday in Marrakesh, Morocco in a run-down villa, where they have found weed under the floorboards. On the first night, Alo finds them a party at a nearby villa owned by a boy called Luke, who is also from England. Franky, unhappy in her relationship with Matty, finds herself drawn to Luke. The following morning, Alo is seduced by Mini, but she swears him to secrecy about their encounter. Later, Luke and his mate Jake visit the gang and reveal they've been using the villa to stash weed. Luke forgives the gang for smoking it, but tells them he needs the rest back and invites them to a beach party. Once there, Luke asks Franky to run away with him. Mini and Alo decide to continue hooking up on the condition of complete secrecy. Jake taunts Matty about Luke and Franky's possible involvement and gives Matty a way to stop it: smuggle six kilogrammes of weed into Marrakesh.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) is a self-regulatory organization that assigns age and content ratings, enforces industry-adopted advertising guidelines, and ensures responsible online privacy principles for computer and video games in the United States, nearly all of Canada, and Mexico. The ESRB was established in 1994 by the Entertainment Software Association (formerly the Interactive Digital Software Association), in response to criticism of violent content found in video games such as Night Trap, Mortal Kombat, and other controversial video games with excessively violent or sexual content.
The board assigns ratings to games based on their content, using judgment similar to the motion picture rating systems used in many countries, using a combination of six age-based levels intended to aid consumers in determining a game's content and suitability, along with a system of "content descriptors" which detail specific types of content present in a particular game. The ESRB also maintains a code of ethics for the advertising and promotion of video games—ensuring that marketing materials for games display their ESRB ratings information, and are targeted to appropriate audiences, and an online privacy certification program. In 2011, the ESRB began a program for rating mobile apps in partnership with CTIA. The ESRB is also a member of the International Age Rating Coalition.

a few minutes of one of my favorite episodes. they use a time wand to try and bring a sparrow back to life and regress it millions of years back to a dinosaur. it swallows Bob one of the little robots and Bob had the time wand. they make Cow Vindaloo (a very hot Indian curry made with meat or poultry, flavored with tamarind, vinegar, and garlic) to try and get him to poop it out.

Red Dwarf 0807 - T Rex Eats A Cow Vindaloo, etc, etc Do you know what happens when a dinosaur eats cow vindaloo, and then eats two and a half tons of mint-choc ice cream, followed by four hundred crates of orange ice-pops, and swills the whole thing down with two thousand gallons of a popular fizzy drink? Do you know what happens?

So, with the new Red Dwarf feature length special around the corner, Dave, the channel that is broadcasting it tweeted out a message this morning to promote it. The message contained morse code, and it appears they will be doing a new message each day. So I've decided to cover it in short form videos. I literally can't wait for this special to air, from what I've seen of it it's going to be amazing.

Murder killing lusty willing
Stealing raping family breaking
Fist faces mashing nasty bashing
Lying faking violent taking
Sin - more than actions, more than thoughts
Sin - more than feelings, more than words
Sin is what I am - my nature
Still I stand before my God
Holy, righteous and just
Hope He sees me through the blood
For I am ashes and dust
I am a man, fallen and filthy
Completely spoiled, selfish and greedy
The Son of Man, innocent and holy
Shed His blood and paid the penalty
Still I stand before my God
Holy, righteous and just
Hope He sees me through the blood
For I am ashes and dust
I am a part of holy priesthood
Completely forgiven by His Blood
I live no longer, Christ lives in me
In His name saint I can be
Still I stand before my God
Holy, righteous and just
Hope He sees me through the Blood
