Watch the first two days here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNicMc_r5QM Watch the Naarden, Holland video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvzNxguEkD8 On the 26th, we walked down to Told Town Square and found the medieval astrological clock, which chimes every hour with the 12 apostles passing by the window above the astronomical dial and symbolic sculptures moving aside. Next, we walked throughout the square, around the statue pictured, which is the John Huss (Jan Hus) Memorial. Many artists set up here to make money. We then got on a tour bus which took us around the city, listening to a narration on headphones, and then got dropped off at a boat tour along the Vltava River. The captain was funny and, along with the river, took us through a man-made canal which is now one of the most expensive areas in Prague, as well as featured as "Venice" in many movies. One of the greatest tourist destinations was next on our itinerary, the Charles Bridge. Named after the influential Charles IV, the bridge is 516 meters long and took nearly 50 years to construct, beginning in 1357. Along the bridge, there are many artisans selling their works of art. Lastly, we purchased and labelled locks which we put on the lock bridge by the canal we had toured through, and then we headed to a recommended restaurant on a boat docked in the river. The food was amazing and the server made me a special gluten-free dessert! To top off the night, everyone else got Trdelnik, a Bohemian dessert made with dough and ice-cream inside. On the 27th, we were taken to a private statue of Comenius, and then we walked to the tram that gives rides up to the Petřín Tower, a miniature Eiffel Tower, which is about 1/3 of the French monument's size. We took the elevator up, and after looking over the entirety of Prague, climbed the 300 steps down. They had a mirror maze, so we walked through that and at the end, messed around in the funny mirror room. We walked back through the square of performers, and back over the bridge one last time, stopping to rub the eighth statue. If you do this, it is said that you will return back to Prague in your lifetime. On the 28th, we left Prague and began our 20 hour journey to Naarden, Holland.
