I am Dr. Bryan Chu and I am running for the office of State Representative of the Texas House, District 149 in Houston. Over the past few years, we have been experiencing an increase in demand for improved security, a better education system, less government regulation into small business, less infringement on our constitutional rights, a reduction in taxes, and expansion of roadways and infrastructure within our state. At present, robberies and murders are rampant. Children and parents are forced to attend schools that they don’t like. The government interferes with every aspect of our lives and businesses. Executive decisions are being made to bypass the constitution. Property taxes are too high for the elderly. Our roads are overcrowded and in dire need of expansion. As your state representative, I will work to make sure that our local police departments are well-funded, as well as adequately staffed and trained, so that the you and your family can feel safe - whether you are in your home, or out and about in our great state of Texas. I will partner with our educators to improve the education system, and fight for a voucher program that will allow parents to send their children to the schools of their choice. I will fight to stop the growing trend of government control in our personal lives and make sure that our constitutional rights are always protected.
