Jeffrey Lawrence "Jeff" Klein is an American singer/songwriter from Newburgh, New York, who plays keyboards and guitar. He has released three albums.
At the age of 18, Klein moved to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music. In 1999, he moved to Austin, Texas and released his first album, You'll Never Get to Heaven If You Break My Heart. Signing to influential records label One Little Indian, Klein released two more albums, Everybody Loves a Winner, featuring Patty Griffin, Matthew Ryan, Jon Dee Graham and Johnny Goudie, in 2002, and The Hustler, which features Ani Difranco and Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum as guests in 2005.,
He has also worked with Ani DiFranco and The Twilight Singers, and as of 2008 is touring with The Gutter Twins as keyboardist. He has been described as "Tom Waits snagged on a barbedwire fence." and as having a "smoky voice (with a) bruised world-weariness".
Klein is also a main member of the collective My Jerusalem, along with fellow Gutter Twins musicians Cully Symington and Dave Rosser.
Klein may refer to:
Jeff is a short form of the English given name Jeffrey, which derives from a medieval variant of Geoffrey. Jeff is especially used in the US and Canada.
My Jerusalem is an Indie Rock band that formed in the New Orleans, Louisiana area and now resides in Austin, Texas. The band originally began as a collective featuring Jeff Klein and Dave Rosser of The Twilight Singers, Rick Nelson of Polyphonic Spree, Ashley Dzerigian formerly of Great Northern and Cully Symington of Cursive (band). Their debut EP was released on March 10 and is titled Without Feathers.
My Jerusalem's connecting thread was Jeff Klein, who had played with each of the band's current members on his solo tour and as a touring and recording member of The Twilight Singers and The Gutter Twins Jeff first met Dave Rosser, a touring member of the Twilight Singers, through producer Mike Napolitano. Drummer Cully Symington was in bands like Cursive and Bishop Allen and The Gutter Twins. Rick Nelson, who plays violin, viola, cello and keyboards in the band, is a longtime member of the Polyphonic Spree and St. Vincent. Matt Bricker, also a member of the Polyphonic Spree, has been playing with The Low Lows. Klein said that "I didn't actually start out thinking of forming a band. I'd played with all of them at different times, and I was like, 'How great would it be to play will all of these people at the same time?' And then when we did it made perfect sense for that to be what we do. We clicked immediately.".

Jeff was born June 12th, 1994 in Renton, Washington, United States. He began playing sports at the young age of 5 and it was essentially the beginning of what has become an epic journey. Jeff was always a very athletic kid growing up and he soon realized that being physically strong and in great shape helped give him an even greater advantage over his competition. This desire and overwhelming passion to be different than everyone else inspired him to begin lifting weights at the age of 12. It is this passion to be unique that gives him the drive and motivation to be the best, and accomplish all that Jeff can so that one day, when he die, his name will live on for ever. :) Jeff Seid: http://www.jeffseid.com https://www.facebook.com/officialjeffseid http://instagram.com/jeff_seid https://ww...

Studies put the failure rate of organizational change at 70% or higher. Yet, managers face increasing pressure to implement change to meet short- and long-term goals. Gregory P. Shea and Cassie A. Solomon share their approach to dealing with this challenge in Leading Successful Change: 8 Keys to Making Change Work. Jeff Klein, director of the Wharton Graduate Leadership Program, recently spoke with the authors about why we are not as good at change as we need to be, and how we can get better at it.

“All of a sudden there’s a key change and you feel a certain way”, says Klein about the influence of the voice and Gospel in her music. The London-based producer and performer talks about her influences spanning the breadth of the internet, from Kim Burrell to Pavarotti, and how it feels to be a self-taught musician and artist being embraced by the greater “electronic realm”. Klein released her new EP Lagata on September 1, where she produces a unique blend of athletic vocal exercises that clash and combine with noisy ambience to produce a very visceral, very singular sonic experience.** Check out her on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHGzELDZdJgIOojThONjN5g Or bandcamp: https://klein1997.bandcamp.com/ ***** Video in Common makes video for the Arts – Editorial, Talks and Ar...

Put up a fight
I wont let you go down like this
you're such a beautiful sight
depending on the way that the lights hit you
so do I have to take you outside
and show you what a real man is
you've been acting just like a little child
ever since I started to kiss other girls
now the smoke curls around your wedding ring
you wash my smell off of you in the sink
and you don't know what you shouldn't feel
all you know is that you long for something real
and that's not me
so put up a fight
I didn't ever think it would get this far
and the stage it's not so subtle now
