John Frusciante -
Omission
Album:
Shadows Collide With People (2004)
Shadows Collide with People is the fourth studio
album by John Frusciante, released
February 24, 2004. The album was written during the recording of
By the Way, and is widely regarded as his most accessible work, featuring a mix of guitar-driven alternative rock, folk ballads, and electronica.
Frusciante has stated that this was his most expensive album to date, costing around $
150,
000 to produce.
Frusciante also made acoustic and demo versions of these tracks available to fans through his official site, now only a blog, as an alternative to the highly produced sound of the record. A promo version of the album was also made, with the tracks "Omission", "

Lyrics:
When I try I force it out
Never looking in only out
Now is the time for millions to lose
Never the same since I lost you
Running me out of town
Wishing the best around
Would only get off my back
Heaven receives you and throws you back
Omit myself
(Take myself from your eyes)
Omit myself
(Take myself from your eyes)
Omit myself
(Take myself from your eyes)
Omit myself
(Take myself from your eyes)
Omit myself as a favour for God
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Suffer fate cuz it's the only lift you've got
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Dedicating all of before to now
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Emphasizing these things you won't allow
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Omit myself
(Take myself from your eyes)
Omit myself
(Take myself from your eyes)
Omit myself as a favour for God
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Suffer fate cuz it's the only lift you've got
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Dedicating all of before to now
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Emphasizing these things you won't allow
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Never now we need the other (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Centralize the force of rot)
In your life we take our cover (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Echoing what is not)
Never now we need the other (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Centralize the force of rot)
In your life we take our cover (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Echoing what is not)
Going nowhere
(Take myself from your eyes)
Going nowhere
(Take myself from your eyes)
Going nowhere's the only clear shot
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
At being somewhere the fates think you're not
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Somewhere's
hole to divides any way you want
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Faking now faking who you are
(All my rights are everyone's enemy)
Never now we need the other (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Centralize the force of rot)
In your life
I'll take my cover (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Echoing what is not)
Never now I need the other (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(And if you're suffering alot)
In your life we take our cover (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(
Try being someone you're not)
Never now we need the other
(And if you're suffering alot)
In your life we take our cover (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Try being someone you're not)
Never now we need the other
(And if you're suffering alot)
In your life we take our cover (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
(Try being someone you're not)
