Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) is the secretive and wildly imaginative man behind the world's most celebrated candy company, and while the Wonka factory is famously closed to visitors, the reclusive candy man decides to give five lucky children a chance to see the inside of his operation by placing "golden tickets" in five randomly selected chocolate bars. Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), whose poor but loving family lives literally in the shadow of the Wonka factory, is lucky enough to obtain one of the tickets, and Charlie, escorted by his Grandpa Joe (David Kelly), is in for the ride of a lifetime as he tours the strange and remarkable world of Wonka with fellow winners, media-obsessed Mike Teavee (Jordan Fry), harsh and greedy Veruca Salt (Julia Winter), gluttonous Augustus Gloop (Philip Wiegratz), and ultra-competitive Violet Beauregarde (AnnaSophia Robb). Lando (Ricky Hanggono) adalah seorang fotografer yang baru saja ditinggal tunangannya. Dalam kegalauannya itu, dia bertemu dengan seorang gadis penjaga tiket Busway bernama Kalin (Dian Sastrowardoyo). Lando pun kembali menemukan gairah hidupnya. Tapi hal ini tidak berlangsung lama, karena tanpa alasan yang jelas Lando meninggalkan Kalin begitu saja, yang membuat Kalin marah dan sakit hati.
Waktu terus berlalu, Lando yang tetap dengan kegalauannya mendapatkan Kalin sekarang telah menjadi seorang supermodel, dan melihat kehadiran Kalin di mana-mana.
Muncul kerinduan dan keinginan untuk menemui Kalin kembali dan menjelaskan alasannya pergi dahulu. Akhirnya kesempatan itu diperolehnya; dia berhasil menemui Kalin, tapi lagi-lagi pertemuan ini berakhir dengan tragis karena Kalin mengalami kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan dia menjadi buta. Walaupun kemudian Kalin mendapatkan donor untuk kornea matanya yang membuat dia bisa melihat kembali, tetapi dia tidak melihat kehadiran Lando yang sebenarnya sangat dia cintai.

Plot: When Ayr cinema introduces digital projectors Bill, a 70-year-old projectionist, is told he has 2 weeks left. He feels useless until Robert, a friend from his youth, moves to his street. Bill finds some old footage of him and his late wife, and decides to make a film with Robert. Things get worse at the cinema, but Bill begins to feel less afraid of redundancy. However, Roberts family are forced to relocate again, leaving Bill more alone than ever. Plot: When a body is found in the New Orleans docks, it's pretty obvious that he died from gun shot wounds. The police surgeon notices that the man is also displaying other symptoms and Lt. Commander Clint Reed, a doctor with the U.S. Public Health Service, diagnoses a highly contagious disease, pneumonic plague. He tries to convince local officials to find everyone who may have been in contact with the dead man. The Mayor supports his efforts but many, including the police, are doubtful. Reed wants to avoid publicity so as not to panic the public. They have little information to go on - they don't know the dead man's identity - and Reed estimates they have 48 hours before disease begins to spread. With police Capt. Tom Warren going through the motions, Reed sets out to find the killers.
