My name is Gary and I am Commanding Officer of the UK Garrison. I find your comments interesting and indeed intriguing. You have openly, despite denying this in your video, attacked us based on what you advise is hearsay. I do not believe anyone was attacked or belittled or anything like at the MCM Expo event and certainly not at our UKG area where our sole purpose is to help and encourage new members. Perhaps instead of making assumptions based on hearsay you should register and find out for yourself what and who we are rather than listen to the haters out there who begrudge us our standing in the costuming community. We have worked hard making costuming something that is well respected and is available to all and for you to make the statements you have based on one persons third party story is disappointing to say the least. As I said why not join our forum and find out and if you or anyone else for that matter is of a mind get your armour to our standards and cleared with us and start trooping with us, then you may understand a little more about what we do. Your armour looks pretty good I doubt you will need to address much for our clearance standards and we will help you achieve that as we would with any new member. Last year we raised over £60,000 for charity and attended many fundraising events to help others raise money as well as appearing at hospitals and helping with many 'Wishes' for Make a Wish. Learn about us first hand rather than second hand and you never know you may even start to enjoy trooping with us. Elitist we are not, we are always trying to help and encourage new members to join and be part of the UKG. So here is an open invite for you to do just that! Happy belated birthday by the way!
She is actually stating that the 501st UKG are acting in an unacceptable way and that is a misrepresentation. I have offered her the chance to find out first hand what we are like so that she can base her reports on first hand rather than second or even third hand information. Thus far to my knowledge she has not taken advantage of my invitation. We take what we do seriously and try to be best at what we do however we never presume to think we are better than anyone else because of that. We are often accused of being elitist but nothing could be further from the truth . We encourage and help anyone that wants to join us and become part of the world's largest costuming group. Projecting your own insecurities and fears because you don't know or don't understand something is not a positive way forward and almost invariably causes problems that need not exist. As I have previously suggested come and talk to us at any of the events we attend particularly when we have our table set up or better yet join our forum and take part in what we do.
Brian: Funny you mention the attitude of the UK Garrison. I was Boba Fett at MCM on the Friday and Saturday. Completely scratch built costume; pretty good but not CRL passable. I approached a couple troopers on the Friday and they were pretty grumpy & dismissive. I don't know whether they were in character or not ,they were making a guy do press ups so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were, but as a nervous guy at my first con wanting to make new cosplay friends, it was a bit disheartening. On Saturday I met a similar group for non-approved Star Wars cosplayers who restored my faith in the cosplay community and I went to the 501st stall with a couple other non-approved Fetts. A crowd of about 15 photographers materialized out of nowhere, lining up opposite us to snap photos as if we were on the red carpet. One of the stormtroopers glared at us as if we didn't belong. But we enjoyed our time in the limelight regardless. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how accurate the suit is; the general public usually can't tell anyway. What matters is the attitude of the person in it.

The commanding officer (CO) is the officer in command of a military unit. Plot: Michael, a soldier in the Austrian military, has been on border duty at the Austrian-Hungarian border for seven weeks now. Isolated from his family and friends and stuck in an uber-masculine environment, Michael develops homosexual feelings for his comrade Raphael. Being bullied is part of his daily routine. Jürgen, the alpha male in the group, has found the perfect victim in Michael. During taking a shower Jürgen bullies Michael once more but this time something is different, Michael bring about Jürgen's downfall both literally and figuratively. The game is on and Jürgen uses his most powerful weapon - his knowledge about Michael's secret. Jürgen punches Michael on the back of his head causing him an injury. Korcak, their group commander, suspects that there is more behind Michael's injury than he Michael is willing to tell but can't help him if he does not tell the truth. A couple of hours later, Michael and Raphael smoke a joint together at the border to celebrate their last night. Being intoxicated, Raphael opens up about his emotions which seems to be the perfect situation for Michael to open up as well and so he takes a chance and wants to kiss Raphael, who, being irritated, pushes Michael away with the words "I'am not gay Michel!". His only hope just died and a downwards spiral begins where Michael's only solution seems to be suicide. It's Raphael who now has to prevent this from happening.

In response to comments that were made against the 501st in my Imperial Outlanders video MCM video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHgfx4NzwVw&feature;=youtu.be original comments: My name is Gary and I am Commanding Officer of the UK Garrison. I find your comments interesting and indeed intriguing. You have openly, despite denying this in your video, attacked us based on what you advise is hearsay. I do not believe anyone was attacked or belittled or anything like at the MCM Expo event and certainly not at our UKG area where our sole purpose is to help and encourage new members. Perhaps instead of making assumptions based on hearsay you should register and find out for yourself what and who we are rather than listen to the haters out there who begrudge us our standing in the costuming community. We have worked hard making costuming something that is well respected and is available to all and for you to make the statements you have based on one persons third party story is disappointing to say the least. As I said why not join our forum and find out and if you or anyone else for that matter is of a mind get your armour to our standards and cleared with us and start trooping with us, then you may understand a little more about what we do. Your armour looks pretty good I doubt you will need to address much for our clearance standards and we will help you achieve that as we would with any new member. Last year we raised over £60,000 for charity and attended many fundraising events to help others raise money as well as appearing at hospitals and helping with many 'Wishes' for Make a Wish. Learn about us first hand rather than second hand and you never know you may even start to enjoy trooping with us. Elitist we are not, we are always trying to help and encourage new members to join and be part of the UKG. So here is an open invite for you to do just that! Happy belated birthday by the way! She is actually stating that the 501st UKG are acting in an unacceptable way and that is a misrepresentation. I have offered her the chance to find out first hand what we are like so that she can base her reports on first hand rather than second or even third hand information. Thus far to my knowledge she has not taken advantage of my invitation. We take what we do seriously and try to be best at what we do however we never presume to think we are better than anyone else because of that. We are often accused of being elitist but nothing could be further from the truth . We encourage and help anyone that wants to join us and become part of the world's largest costuming group. Projecting your own insecurities and fears because you don't know or don't understand something is not a positive way forward and almost invariably causes problems that need not exist. As I have previously suggested come and talk to us at any of the events we attend particularly when we have our table set up or better yet join our forum and take part in what we do. Brian: Funny you mention the attitude of the UK Garrison. I was Boba Fett at MCM on the Friday and Saturday. Completely scratch built costume; pretty good but not CRL passable. I approached a couple troopers on the Friday and they were pretty grumpy & dismissive. I don't know whether they were in character or not ,they were making a guy do press ups so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were, but as a nervous guy at my first con wanting to make new cosplay friends, it was a bit disheartening. On Saturday I met a similar group for non-approved Star Wars cosplayers who restored my faith in the cosplay community and I went to the 501st stall with a couple other non-approved Fetts. A crowd of about 15 photographers materialized out of nowhere, lining up opposite us to snap photos as if we were on the red carpet. One of the stormtroopers glared at us as if we didn't belong. But we enjoyed our time in the limelight regardless. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how accurate the suit is; the general public usually can't tell anyway. http://thefilmarchive.org/ Irene O. Galloway (1908--1963) was an American Army soldier and the fourth commanding officer of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC). Irene O. Galloway of Carroll County, Iowa attended Boyles Business College in Omaha, Nebraska. Galloway joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps in June 1942. In September 1942 Galloway was graduated from WAAC Officer Candidate School at the WAAC Training Center at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. When asked why she was compelled to join the Army, Galloway replied that she was inspired to join because of her brother who was serving in the Pacific during WWII and because of an article in the New York Times regarding opportunities for women in the Army. Galloway served in the WAAC through WWII and witnessed many changes in the roles women played in the military throughout the Cold War, one of which was the loss of women's status as "auxiliary" units that changed the name of the WAAC to WAC. Upon completing her training, Galloway served at the WAC headquarters at the Pentagon, the headquarters for the Army Services Forces, and with the G-1 Career Management Group until she was assigned as WAAC Staff Advisor for the U.S. Army in Europe in 1948. In November 1952 Galloway was selected as a replacement for commander of the WAC Training Center in Fort Lee. Just two weeks after reporting for duty as Commander of the WAC Training Center, Galloway was notified of her selection as Director of the WAC and was sworn in on January 3, 1953. At the time of her appointment as director, Colonel Galloway had served 10 years in the WAC, and won the Commendation Ribbon from the Army of Occupation WAAC, and the American Theater and European Theater Ribbons during World War II. During her tenure as WAC Director, Colonel Galloway played an instrumental role in increasing military pay and reenlistment bonuses. Colonel Galloway also implemented the Military Occupational Services (MOS) for enlisted personnel, and oversaw the establishment of a new WAC training facility in Fort McClellan in Alabama. In 1963 Colonel Irene O. Galloway died of cancer. My name is Gary and I am Commanding Officer of the UK Garrison. I find your comments interesting and indeed intriguing. You have openly, despite denying this in your video, attacked us based on what you advise is hearsay. I do not believe anyone was attacked or belittled or anything like at the MCM Expo event and certainly not at our UKG area where our sole purpose is to help and encourage new members. Perhaps instead of making assumptions based on hearsay you should register and find out for yourself what and who we are rather than listen to the haters out there who begrudge us our standing in the costuming community. We have worked hard making costuming something that is well respected and is available to all and for you to make the statements you have based on one persons third party story is disappointing to say the least. As I said why not join our forum and find out and if you or anyone else for that matter is of a mind get your armour to our standards and cleared with us and start trooping with us, then you may understand a little more about what we do. Your armour looks pretty good I doubt you will need to address much for our clearance standards and we will help you achieve that as we would with any new member. Last year we raised over £60,000 for charity and attended many fundraising events to help others raise money as well as appearing at hospitals and helping with many 'Wishes' for Make a Wish. Learn about us first hand rather than second hand and you never know you may even start to enjoy trooping with us. Elitist we are not, we are always trying to help and encourage new members to join and be part of the UKG. So here is an open invite for you to do just that! Happy belated birthday by the way!
She is actually stating that the 501st UKG are acting in an unacceptable way and that is a misrepresentation. I have offered her the chance to find out first hand what we are like so that she can base her reports on first hand rather than second or even third hand information. Thus far to my knowledge she has not taken advantage of my invitation. We take what we do seriously and try to be best at what we do however we never presume to think we are better than anyone else because of that. We are often accused of being elitist but nothing could be further from the truth . We encourage and help anyone that wants to join us and become part of the world's largest costuming group. Projecting your own insecurities and fears because you don't know or don't understand something is not a positive way forward and almost invariably causes problems that need not exist. As I have previously suggested come and talk to us at any of the events we attend particularly when we have our table set up or better yet join our forum and take part in what we do.
Brian: Funny you mention the attitude of the UK Garrison. I was Boba Fett at MCM on the Friday and Saturday. Completely scratch built costume; pretty good but not CRL passable. I approached a couple troopers on the Friday and they were pretty grumpy & dismissive. I don't know whether they were in character or not ,they were making a guy do press ups so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were, but as a nervous guy at my first con wanting to make new cosplay friends, it was a bit disheartening. On Saturday I met a similar group for non-approved Star Wars cosplayers who restored my faith in the cosplay community and I went to the 501st stall with a couple other non-approved Fetts. A crowd of about 15 photographers materialized out of nowhere, lining up opposite us to snap photos as if we were on the red carpet. One of the stormtroopers glared at us as if we didn't belong. But we enjoyed our time in the limelight regardless. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how accurate the suit is; the general public usually can't tell anyway. What matters is the attitude of the person in it.

Irene O. Galloway (1908--1963) was an American Army soldier and the fourth commanding officer of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC).
Irene O. Galloway of Carroll County, Iowa attended Boyles Business College in Omaha, Nebraska. Galloway joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps in June 1942. In September 1942 Galloway was graduated from WAAC Officer Candidate School at the WAAC Training Center at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. When asked why she was compelled to join the Army, Galloway replied that she was inspired to join because of her brother who was serving in the Pacific during WWII and because of an article in the New York Times regarding opportunities for women in the Army.
Galloway served in the WAAC through WWII and witnessed many changes in the roles women played in the military throughout the Cold War, one of which was the loss of women's status as "auxiliary" units that changed the name of the WAAC to WAC. Upon completing her training, Galloway served at the WAC headquarters at the Pentagon, the headquarters for the Army Services Forces, and with the G-1 Career Management Group until she was assigned as WAAC Staff Advisor for the U.S. Army in Europe in 1948. In November 1952 Galloway was selected as a replacement for commander of the WAC Training Center in Fort Lee.
Just two weeks after reporting for duty as Commander of the WAC Training Center, Galloway was notified of her selection as Director of the WAC and was sworn in on January 3, 1953. At the time of her appointment as director, Colonel Galloway had served 10 years in the WAC, and won the Commendation Ribbon from the Army of Occupation WAAC, and the American Theater and European Theater Ribbons during World War II. During her tenure as WAC Director, Colonel Galloway played an instrumental role in increasing military pay and reenlistment bonuses. Colonel Galloway also implemented the Military Occupational Services (MOS) for enlisted personnel, and oversaw the establishment of a new WAC training facility in Fort McClellan in Alabama.
In 1963 Colonel Irene O. Galloway died of cancer. As a result of her role in moving the WAC training facility to Alabma, the North Gate entrance and North Gate Road, both of which led through the WAC Training Facility at Fort McClellan, were renamed Galloway Gate and Galloway Gate Road.

Galloway served in the WAAC through WWII and witnessed many changes in the roles women played in the military throughout the Cold War, one of which was the loss of women's status as "auxiliary" units that changed the name of the WAAC to WAC. Upon completing her training, Galloway served at the WAC headquarters at the Pentagon, the headquarters for the Army Services Forces, and with the G-1 Career Management Group until she was assigned as WAAC Staff Advisor for the U.S. Army in Europe in 1948. In November 1952 Galloway was selected as a replacement for commander of the WAC Training Center in Fort Lee.
Just two weeks after reporting for duty as Commander of the WAC Training Center, Galloway was notified of her selection as Director of the WAC and was sworn in on January 3, 1953. At the time of her appointment as director, Colonel Galloway had served 10 years in the WAC, and won the Commendation Ribbon from the Army of Occupation WAAC, and the American Theater and European Theater Ribbons during World War II. During her tenure as WAC Director, Colonel Galloway played an instrumental role in increasing military pay and reenlistment bonuses. Colonel Galloway also implemented the Military Occupational Services (MOS) for enlisted personnel, and oversaw the establishment of a new WAC training facility in Fort McClellan in Alabama.
In 1963 Colonel Irene O. Galloway died of cancer. As a result of her role in moving the WAC training facility to Alabma, the North Gate entrance and North Gate Road, both of which led through the WAC Training Facility at Fort McClellan, were renamed Galloway Gate and Galloway Gate Road.

Players assume the role of Native American space marine Joseph Turok, who is part of a team sent to a remote planet to apprehend his previous commanding officer, General Roland Kane, now a wanted war criminal. LCdr. Sean Batte, Commanding Officer, HMCS Prevost - Canada's Heroes at Sea November 12th, 2015 LCdr Sean Batte joined the Naval Reserve in HMCS Prevost in 1990 as a MARS officer. He earned his BWK in HMCS Porte De La Reine, and subsequently sailed in numerous Gate Vessels, MSAs and MCDVs. He was among the first to qualify in Mine Countermeasures as well as Coastal Operations, and subsequently taught at the Naval Officer Training Centre VENTURE, and Canadian Forces Fleet School(Quebec). In 2009, he earned his Patrol Craft Officer In Charge designation, and has sailed in numerous ORCA Class ships since. He was promoted to his current rank in 2010, and has served as XO and all HOD positions at HMCS Prevost, as well as holding XO and HOD appointments at sea. More recently, he graduated from the Canadian Forces College Joint Staff and Command Program. LCdr Batte assumed command of HMCS Prevost in August of 2014. LCdr Batte has earned four degrees, culminating with a Master’s in Medical Biophysics at UWO and a Doctor of Chiropractic in St. Louis, USA. LCdr Sean Batte joined the Naval Reserve in HMCS Prevost in 1990 as a MARS officer. He earned his BWK in HMCS Porte De La Reine, and subsequently sailed in numerous Gate Vessels, MSAs and MCDVs. He was among the first to qualify in Mine Countermeasures as well as Coastal Operations, and subsequently taught at the Naval Officer Training Centre VENTURE, and Canadian Forces Fleet School(Quebec). In 2009, he earned his Patrol Craft Officer In Charge designation, and has sailed in numerous ORCA Class ships since. Siddhant, who is the defense counsel, is apathetic at first but starts taking a keen interest in the case after meeting Kavya (Minissha Lamba), a journalist who demonstrates that the case is not as simple as it seems. The underlying theme in the movie is Siddhant's gradual understanding of what Shaurya means (his father was himself a decorated army veteran), and the resulting conflict with Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh (Kay Kay Menon) In the End, It is revealed that Maj. Rathod, while conducting a Search operation in a village, roughed up and killed a villager, and threatened a little girl. Enraged and fearing for the girl Capt. Javed shot him and eventually the movie ends up with a climax.
