An interview with Macedonian film director Darko Mitrevski made by Ana Jovkovska for her TV program "Puls" (pulse) that is broadcasted on the Macedonian TV channel AlfaTV. The interview was made on 30th november, 2011 and in it Darko Mitrevski talks about many topics, including his latest film project called "The Third Half". The film is based on a true love story between a rich Jewish girl and a Macedonian football player set in Macedonia at the horrible time of the WWII and the deliberate and shameful forceful collection and transportation to the Nazi death camps of almost 98% of the Jewish population of Macedonia done by the Bulgarian authorities who were serving as Hitler's puppets and were occupying Macedonia at the time.

Cinquant'anna dopo suo figlio Santino torna in Macedonia: vuole saldare il debito del padre, cercando di aiutare il figli di Serafin, Trendafil. Quest' ultimo, per sfuggire ai disastri della guerra nei Balcani, scappa con la famiglia in Bulgaria, ma durante la fuga muore la sua matrigna e le leggi balcaniche gli impongono di seppellire la donna in terra Bulgara. Durante il tragitto viene derubato di tutto, anche del cadavere della matrigna. Santino a questo punto lo rintraccerà e lo aiuterà a scoprire il mistero sul furto del cadavere.

„Кога ги собраа нашите, јас се криев", се сеќава госпоѓата Коен во интервјуто на Шоа-фондацијата. „Имав добри комшии и никој не ме кажа... Децата што играа надвор ги прашуваа бугарски војници... Бугарите ги земаа. Бугариве беа заедно со Хитлер. Со Немците. И Бугарите дојдоа... Бугари стражареа, Бугари собираа, Бугарите со куќите располагаа, Бугарите сѐ. Бугарски војници прашуваат -- 'Има ли тука Евреи?', викаат -- 'Нема', макар што сите ме знаеја. Но никој не ме предаде."
