Punt in the Gardens

Take a traditional punt cruise on Ornamental Lake in the Royal Botanic Gardens and cruise around its bays and islands with Punt Tours Melbourne.

Settle back in an elegant wooden punt to enjoy a unique view of one of the world’s finest gardens as our professional boatman tells you about its history, environment, wildlife and plants.

Tours run year-round and each punt carries up to eight people on a 30-minute tour.

Location: Royal Botanic Gardens | Punt tours depart from in front of the Terrace Restaurant, a short walk from Gate A on corner Alexandra Avenue & Anderson Street (Melways ref. 2G D11) South Yarra.

Price: Full $25, child $12, infant free, family (2 adults and up to 3 children) $70.
The punt is not wheelchair accessible.

Group and function bookings are available on request.

Tours run every day except Christmas Day (weather permitting)
Summer season: September – April 9am-6pm | Winter season: May – August 10am-4pm

Happens: Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
