Event Type: Permanent Exhibition

Specifically designed for three to eight year olds, Nitty Gritty Super City is a fun and interactive exhibition set in a mini metropolis where children are encouraged to push buttons, pull ropes, investigate materials, encounter sounds, objects and other people.

Highlights include the construction zone, the role-play café, the digger, the cargo ship and the interactive music bowl.

Disruption to Access
The Scienceworks elevator is currently being upgraded. During this time access to Nitty Gritty, Lower Ground Floor and level 2 will be via stairs only.

We anticipate the replacement to be completed within two weeks by March 6th. Access to our ground floor including Think Ahead, Alice’s Wonderland, Sportsworks and The Planetarium are not affected. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Happens: Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
