Future Ready builds on the momentum of the President’s ConnectED Initiative with the launch of the Future Ready Pledge. Signing the pledge means superintendents are committing to foster and lead a culture of digital learning in their district and to share what they have learned with other districts.

Summits
Future Ready regional summits allow district teams to jump start their planning efforts and vision for student learning under direct guidance from Future Ready facilitators. Participants will have access to national experts, regional colleagues, implementation exemplars, and strategies for a successful digital conversion. Summit locations include:

White House ConnectED to the Future Convening
On Wednesday, November 19 2014, President Obama welcomed over 100 district superintendents to the East Room for the “ConnectED to the Future” convening, launching an effort to assist school leaders in their transition to digital learning.
